The hotel lies excellent. Thanks to the numerous delis and supermarkets in the area short run errands without any problems possible. We were with the choice of very satisfied and would book this hotel again.
Towels were every day new, the bathroom was cleaned and the beds made. You need more than a week New York not from the hotel.
Many wrote here the lift is lame. The drive from the 25. floor to the ground floor takes maximum 20 to 30 seconds. If someone zusteigt must the lift of course stop. It then took until it down is actually ... normal. Also use the elevator with a city journey only in the morning and in the evening. Is therefore not a problem.
Small tip:
The proposal the front desk, a taxi to the airport to order, i would decline. We were greeted with a privattaxi to the airport went. Was only a bit more expensive, about 65 $+ 10% for kk payment, but from we wanted. A official yellow taxi with flat to the airport book.
Lots of fun in New York, really a nice city! read more

I was two years ago already times in this hotel and chose it because of its central location again.
I was this time not disappointed. It was again everything very clean. The reception was nice and the computer was, that our second stay was, it came to a chat.
The room was better than the last time, nothing special large, but sufficient. There were three of us and shared the room. There were 2 large typical Amibetten, which were very comfortable. It was wonderful sleep. We had a closet, a chest of drawers, large flatscreen tv, Bedside tables, desk, alarm ... clock and especially great was small coffee machine. Coffee, milk and sugar was also always filled up.
The curtains were nice dark, that one not equivalent to the first rays of sun light in bed sat.
The bath was also okay with a einerbeautiful shower. Hair dryer, shower gel, body Lotion, soap and toothbrush holder were available, towels were changed daily.
Our view was right the empire over-Wonderful.
A restaurant and bar gave it also, with außenbestuhlung. It was very relaxed and Backpackermäßig, very pleasant. We ate always outside. There is lots of shops in the area and with the Metro you can reach everything very fast. Weekly pass for this 29 Dollar. Really worth it.
All together the hotel I would again and again choose. read more

The holiday inn is very centrally located in Manhattan. It is a few minutes walk to the Empire State building, Times square, and Macy's. Two blocks away from the hotel (28th) is the access to the subway, where the quickest way to get to any place can get in Manhattan. Nearby of the hotel are a lot of small shops where you can stock up with everything, which one to the daily life needs. If you don't want to have breakfast in the hotel, there are also geuegend such as Starbucks and so on nearby. The hotel has about 25 ... floors. There are two elevators, one was quite fast in which the rooms arrives. The check in was completed very quickly. The hotel has a bar, a restaurant, a small fitness studio, an Internet corner with printer where you get free tickets and so on to. We had a room on the 17th floor with two double beds. In addition the room with a TFT tv, a/c, telephone, alarm clock radio, writing desk, coffee maker, iron and ironing equipped. In the entire hotel free Wiki is available. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination, a small sink and a hair dryer equipped. The view from our room was very impressive, because of some very impressive skyscrapers were to be seen. The breakfast in the hotel is highly recommendable. It is very extensive and from the price it is not so different from the other large nearby, as children eat free. If you come by car, you need to steep park fees are expected. As far as we noticed, the fee is in the parking garage across the street for about $30 per day. A small tip on the check-in and check-out. If you arrive from any of the three airports and not necessarily the luggage to carry through the subway, before the arrival date, by accessing online www. goairlinkshuttle. COM a shuttle. These are small buses (slightly larger than a VW bus) with capacity for ten people. The simple drive, for example, costs $17 per person Newark. At the airport you will find very simply the switch from 'Airlink' at the exit to the 'ground transportation'. There is very easy access to the luggage loaded and unloaded at the hotel again. Almost all the hotels in Manhattan with this shuttle reachable. It is very important not to forget, in the overall print the vouchers. You have to present on the vehicle. read more

we were 3 nights in this hotel. It lies in the sixth ave close to the Times Square, about 15 minutes on foot. The reception was friendly but it was our reservation not found. the hotel has a small entrance hall and only 2 lifts, which with from and anreise with groups waiting times can lead to. The rooms are very small. Typical of the United States everywhere carpet, which did not degrees purely. There was a flat screen TV, no choice mini bar fridge, no shower gel and no choice air conditioningwe were on a higher floor, however was ... loud noise from the street to hear there was a restaurant. Room was without breakfast. Free Wi-Fi! Hotel was nevertheless, if you're not tons of coal you want to spend, for NYC OK. read more

We booked this hotel as part of a multi-leg trip 2 days. We enjoyed it very much. Our hotel is characterised by the central location. It is about 5 minutes walk from the Broadway Theater District. The other major attractions are all within walking distance. The room was very clean and maintained: but everything is a little small! Hardly enough space to put your suitcases. Unfortunately the windows are not soundproof (apparently be standard), so that it can be a bit noisy all night. We would book this hotel again for the good location and the cleanliness. The size of ... the room was ok, since we were usually mostly outside! read more

This was our 4th time in NY and 1. time in a Holiday Inn. We were very happy with this hotel. Only complaint - - only 9 safes!! The is a little too little! Room was cleaned every day, new towels every day, new shower stuff, shampoo, body lotion. Very nice! Restaurant we didn't use. knew from the other holidays a good diner (cheaper). Typical Holiday Inn in the center of Manhattan. Almost all points of interest are within walking distance; the subway. I was surprised at the relative peace in the room, despite the hotel's central location. The room was clean, not overly large; the bathroom was tiny, but ok. Just a typical city hotel. Gastronmie was used only in the form the hotel bar. A compliment to the bartender: ALTERNATELY mix the whisky sour! Receptionisten were very friendly, quick and courteous. Next New York-visit, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again. read more

The hotel really shocked. We had a very small room and they gave us a larger, even though they were always empty. The room was during our stay from Wednesday to Sunday, only cleaned once. To get to provide fresh towels had to go to reception. When we complained we were told us that we could supposedly the cleaning of the room canceled. As compensation we were 4 of us and get a voucher for one person. When we needed some milk for the coffee they took us 3 dollar. Overall a I would not recommend this hotel. I was ... very happy when the 4 days were over! read more

just the place for a city break, central, cheap, with good restaurants and Verkehsanbindung. We would go back there again, especially great is the steakhouse 26 igste street between 5th and 6th Avenue, always live music and best staff left nothing to be desired, eat from a paper!!! PS: We highly recommend to anyone to use the City since deals, they are overpriced and you have some unpleasant surprises, so stay away!! read more
