Hotel Nora Beach Resort & Spa^{(4 stars)}

The rooms were pleasant size and type. Thai style decor. There was a mini bar, a small fridge, a water heater for coffee and tea, as well as a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers and umbrellas ☺ and a telephone. The closet was big enough, right next to it there was a luggage rack. Also the bathroom had plenty of space. The shower/bath is for two too small and could only with a shower curtain be used. The balcony offers a nice view and a nice sitting area.

We had only the breakfast used, which indeed was ok: there were daily fresh vegetables, fruit and salads, a egg station for omelets, scrambled & fried eggs, hearty and sweet warm dishes such as type. Thai dishes, but also pancakes, french toast, sausage, bacon and casseroles. Besides one could also desserts food. Only drawback for me was, that it only two kinds of tea, as well as only black coffee. Over wandered or coffees i would have liked. Refreshment there was also juices (very sweet) and water from donors. The atmosphere with the food is legendary, as you right at the waterfront on increasing can sit and in the morning the sound of the ocean can play.

In our case the staff was always politely, accommodating and helpful. Our questions were mostly within a short time to be clarified. The satisfaction regarding the room cleaning was every day from the cleaning lady from, since this not always the same was. Sometimes it was very clean, on other days less.

The pool is a bit small and ageing. Individual tiles were broken, it is all around the pool a kerb laid out, making it difficult, comfortable by the pool edge basis or in the water to relax.

Somewhat remote located, but lovely hotel with great view

Because the hotel near the airport is located, is the driving directions quite short. It is also almost the final hotel at the upper end of Chaweng Beach, which however not continue to disturb. The beach is right 'on the doorstep' and by foot one arrives at low tide (!) Without in 25 minutes to the centre. Operates several times daily a shuttle bus, but sometimes unfavourable dates. In pleasant walking distance are either at the beach or along the main street in front of the hotel cheap, nice and typical thairestaurants. The people are nice. Service but could be a bit better.

For sportspeople is unfortunately nothing. beachvolleyballnetz and wasserballtore although available, were, but not used. The pool is nice.

The hotel complex and the rooms are in good condition. The rooms are reasonably cleared up. For breakfast you have to however drawbacks. The breakfast buffet is manageable and since we gladly a delicious coffee in the morning, drink, we need to give these unfortunately as moderate to bad. The hotel prices for food and drinks are quite steep. It was sensible in the familymarkt from time to time with drinks they quote or to rent a scooter and to eat out. In the hotel a scooter for 300 Bhat(7,5 Euro) per day rental and for example on the north coast at the beach something to eat.

A bit off the beaten path, which we appreciated a lot. With the hotel shuttle to the tourist strip on Chaweng beach to be brought. There is quite a large commotion.

We had a garden-villa with a view of the sea. It was exactly, as we expected and had hoped for. A few gleinigkeiten you could still change it but was already good sunday Only due to the villa we had for this resort on the Chaweng decided.

We only used the breakfast buffet used. The selection was relatively insignificant. But it tasted good.

The boys by the pool didn't seem the happiest to be, accordingly not very friendly. ( in comparison to other thais). Even at breakfast one didn't have the best impression of the staff. Maybe it is a but also only, since you are right from a five star hotel comes.

The pool area is actually really beautiful, if not... The English pop music so noisy would be. The staff somewhat friendly would be. - no plastic, but wooden pool chairs there, And these also not to teiel broken and dirty would be. - the stench the drainpipes rated

The hotel is in a hillside. So, you should be good on foot. But a little movement does really good on vacation.

The hotel lies at the northern end of the Chaweng beach. Has no direct access to the main beach of Chaweng, was very good so. For me thereby the kilometer long walk on the beach spared. In 5 minutes one is with the scooter in the middle of Chaweng. In front of the hotel is however not very much.

as mentioned, we were too Sixth and had a villa and two'normal' room. I was with a friend in the villa. The room was normal large, which very nice was, was the shower with glass roof and the bath tub, as well as the view to the roof, if you are in the bed is convenient. We also had an outdoor shower. The mattress I personally was too hard and there was also the closet too small measured. The terrace was perfect beautiful with a view to the green. We had from the balcony of the normal the bank brought, so that we all 6 had place. For information: definitely Stechmückenspray and-plug carry. The minibar is acknowledged, but you could easily its own drinks control. You get every day two small water bottles for free.

There were three cocktail bars, the cocktails were rather expensive. The restaurant we didn't visit, since the prices put off. There was however once a sundowner evening, where it 1 hour free of charge cocktails, as well as small Appetizers to eat, the delicious were. Breakfast was typical of the country and okay, the bread was however not after our taste. Since the restaurant right on the beach, was the atmosphere very nice.

the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The guys at the pool bar were always very helpful and inquired, if we come back to the same drink, as the day before. In the lounge bar we got even a Gratisdrink, since the girls the wrong cocktail brought. To complain about it the staff at breakfast were, the ladies were not very attentive and also the ladies at the front desk were not very auskunfstbereit. Our maid was difficult reasonable, as we every day line sat on our terrace and some drank, we had many bottles, cans, etc. to thrown away and six glasses to wash.

So sporty seen does not exist very much, you can use the fitness center, the however very cold was due to the air conditioning or you can get a kayak borrow-AUS. Of course in the sea wonderful swim and the pool was very clean, however after our taste too warm. The umbrellas were rather hard and come, the plastic at the beach were partly broken, the cushions were but reasonable and you could every day fresh towels without deposit borrow. There was also sufficient Showers at the pool. In the first week we had better weather, as was the sea completely quiet uS clean, after a few days it was very windy, thus naturally many waves and the sea rough and it was' dirt ' on the shoreline. Was however not disturbing. A bit further up the water was quiet and also clean, as you could also go into the sea. in the hotel in the front desk there were four computers-squares, with free internet.

The hotel complex is very clean and well maintained. Very nice Landscaping with stream. The villas and rooms have the picture very well. No long ways, due to the hillside location is the beach with the rooms and front desk a bit uphill. Many guests from China small children, were however not disturbing. Everything was very quiet.

from the airport one has about 5 minutes transfer. In the place one drives with the small trains approximately 10 minutes You can also on foot go, however there is a construction site, as it is rather dark and you have to be very careful. it is directly 2 minutes removes a supermarket, as well as a few pub, where you reasonably priced and delicious food. At the beach can one up to the sharpened action, must then however on a side street and right back on the Chawengstrand turn. The hotel is very peaceful convenient, which we very much appreciated.

the rooms were completely OK, the size was adequate. The cleanliness on the whole also reasonable (more or less). Mini bar available, but the prices not cheap. the furniture wasn't in the newest condition, but OK. we had a balcony with a view of the garden, through the trees one could see the sea ☺

We only breakfast booked, as you are in Thailand really very cheap food. The restaurant is located on the edge of the sea, a wonderful Scenery, dreamlike. The selection was huge, everything your heart desires and really delicious, by European up to Asian food was everything. The staff very accommodating and friendly. we have in the hotel only had breakfast, but other Gestures that it is very delicious was, but the prices as in Germany so already expensive for Thailand.

the staff are really very friendly and expects a tip, if you however a little tip is it all the more. You got along with English very far, you can don't expect that on the other the end of the world German spoken is. we have no other services use taken as they were expensive in comparison to the prices outside of the area.

Internet entrance is included, in the lobby 4 computers are available and the until 24 o'clock use. the pool is not very large but okay, except for the one uses the not so often in the great sea. Everything was clean. there were no activities (very good). umbrellas, Couches, showers available. A Fitness Studio is available, but unfortunately there were not many devices.

the hotel is in the Thai style built, which we really liked. And by a very much beautiful garden area surround. The whole complex is not huge but also not small. The size of the room is sufficient. The hotel is clean, and the rooms, but now you should not be too picky and look in every corner ☺ the guests are in all age groups represented. Nationalities: German, Austrians, Italians, English, Israelis, Chinese, Indian, new Zealanders, Australians.

the hotel lies direct at the beach, which really is very quiet, but not very wide. To our time( December) the sea was a little stormy, to our section. He was very clean and there were always sufficient beach chairs available. Beach towels are included. the airport there is not even 5 minutes. Away. To Chaweng-city to walk there are about 15 minutes and with a scooter about 5 minutes on the Chaweng street you will find everything your heart desires ( restaurants, Club, massages, options for shopping, pharmacies, Hairdressers, ATM...). In the hotel you can also book excursions, but it was cheaper outside of the plant and reasonably priced if you are planning on an individual basis.
