Large beautiful landscaped gardens and great beach. Room cleaning takes place daily, in general good cleanliness. State of the rooms was very worn out and the bathrooms are in a bad state. Wifi is unfortunately only for a fee available. Food is good. Hunger none must suffer. Guest structure was mixed. read more

    Size and state of the rooms are sufficiently. Air conditioning worked, tv has deutsche welle, mini bar was refilled daily with soft drinks refilled, coffee maker didn't use it. Balcony good. Now for the bad. The bathroom. Size is good, only the condition the decor. Bathtub strong rust spots, the condition the fixtures pathetic. It was a bit of a challenge with warm water showers and getting wet. The water pressure or, the flow is very weak. Chrome was cleaned up, shower head was just sparse water through. A renovation is long overdue. For certain no 3 let alone worth 4 stars.

    There is a main restaurant, several à-la-carte restaurant, by us were however not used. In addition to pool bar, beach bar and grill bar. Dishes were okay only with the re-filling it rarely works. We got the impression that the staff even in the way. Cleanliness and hygiene are good. To the beverages at the bars we have to say. There are no fresh cocktails except at the flamingo bar and at the bar las reedes there was fresh Mojito. In the restaurant las olas is the only coffee machine for Cappuccino and so on. The vending machine was from the 14 days we were there a maximum of 4 days in use. It happened even after the order the Cappuccino was ripped off and then the machine been opened and there was no more. The machine was often to be desired.

    The hotel lies directly at the sandy beach. The flughafenentfernung depends on the airline, whether santo domingo about 45 minutes or Punta Cana about 2,5 hours. Otherwise the hotel lies remote. Really relaxing vacation, after room change to the newer 4000. Block. First room was completely down and we constantly heard, but it worked out with some hurdles the other to get, so right with a view of the sea and a balcony. Beach with a lot of palms right under your nose ( at most places are bathing shoes are recommended) and also with the food one only sat 20 meters away from the beach and looks on the sea - wonderful. Book excursions with Eva at the beach, right down to run 10 minutes, take cash and who has ..., you need german, austrian, swiss and now french flags, not too big, but fly or light (often stolen or broken). With small tips is there actually to organize everything., but friendliness there is free at any time. Cultural programme you can take, is however on the duration boring, because always the same comes. And lobster on the beach is not recommendable, tasted old and was there with mash on the lobster topped. In the restaurant there was always something delicious. read more

We were 5 days (4 nights ) in this complex. The relatively best was the entertainment! We were 2 times gas from the car stolen with a loss of circa 60 American Dollar$. The car on the guarded car park of the hotel! But the worst was, that we 200 Dollar cash from the safe was stolen. We suspect, that the security service of the hotel behind this diebststahl is. Of al we one day lunch into the room wanted, worked the castle (with chipcard) and after about 1 hour wait the hotekeigene' sicheheitsservice' with 2 man moved up. Although ... it the possibility had to the castle with a computer and usb port from the outside to open, he claimed, that he into the room on the balcony to enter to the castle from the inside to open! On this occasion, it was 10 minutes alone in the room and could the safe the 200 Dollar steal, whose loss we only on day of departure noticed, since you are in a all inclusive hotel generally without purse is traveling! The safe also has a usb port, and can therefore by the ' security ' of the hotel be opened, if a customer times its number combination forget. The staff at reception is extremely rude. Great relaxing holiday! Great to relax and to soak up some sun. Many destinations and entertainment! Always room with a balcony book, a little mold in the bathroom, but hard to avoid with this climate zone! Food is very delicious and diverse ☺ hotel area is very clean and the staff good care of the maintenance of the plants and so on. There are plenty of loungers available. Salesmen are very annoying, just ignore them. Air conditioning is very old and musty. In the sea are again and again even large stones to find, you need for snorkelling definitely bathing ... shoes, otherwise one must watch out stop! read more

    The room with a view of the sea is its size absolutely sufficient. The standard of a 4 star hotel, however unfortunately not reached. The hotel is much better as so some evaluation gives voice to this and has its four stars always deserves. Everything seems to be very clean and neat. It is constantly and everywhere cleaned, washed, swept and fair, whether at the beach, in the beautiful gardens or in the buildings. It was nice to see how much enthusiasm all employees hand in hand for their guests work, always friendly, always cooperative, always discreet and polite - always with a smile. The only that during the 6 weeks didn't bother us, were some unpleasant guests of different nations. It should, but ... no one the management responsible, but even as exemplary role (polite, friendly, low-key, right and proper dress and not already at the morning more alcohol award than one stomach. Really a great hotel - we fly again! read more

    Our room divided in four sectors-entrance with wardrobe and dressing possibility and safe (free of charge), bathroom (bath tub with a shower) with a toilet, laundry room with small kitchen and living room/bedroom and balcony. Size about 50 square meter. It was cleaned daily and everything was perfectly clean, and the towels daily freshly-all, beds at least every 2. tag. Coffee and fridge was daily filled up to the edge-everything except for alcohol. Furniture was not new but clean and everything worked well. To the equipment belonged also an ironing board and iron, which you in 6 weeks excessively can use.

Salads, pasta, soups, meat, fish, and fruit-everything fresh, fresh is not. Half filled plates were cleared away and immediately with fresh food replaced. Everything is, if you want, especially on their own desire is prepared. Pasta you from the very rich offer and shall notify the chef, with which sauce or pesto, with as much garlic or vegetables, ham or cheese you his pasta like to have-and everything was fresh and tasty and the super fast.     The hotel is situated right at the sea with palmenwald at the beach, the partly up to 50 meters wide, and in the field of the hotel very well-kept. The beach daily cleaned multiple times, because some guests bring much with and then their garbage gladly back. Of course not all, otherwise it would be not so beautiful! The hotel even includes several nice and stylish building a outstandingly beautiful and generous laid-out park surrounded are. The easy access to the area is good. Juan dolio is on the doorstep. The drive to San Pedro by bus or cab takes 15 minutes to Boca Chica about 25 minutes and to santo domingo about 50 minutes (by bus 1,20 Euro simply). Excursions you should not with the own travel agent, they are in the rule too expensive.

The rooms are pretty much a catastrophe, if you are not lucky in house 4 to get one, which was really stink-normal rooms are, the one in a 4 stars hotel expect can. Only in house 2 a room completely down ... offered, which we but just denied have, as we with a balcony booked. Got one in house 3 at the top, we even sea view and big balcony had. Room very run down, bathroom was tiny and dirty, often only cold water and ants, i was not even bother me, but the air conditioning only the air in the room umgewälz and so it was under the roof stuffy hot, as in of the sauna and at night the disco went to 2a 3 hours. My husband was hopping mad, because we could not sleep any night, so no trace of relaxation. We have reported the travel agent and were even times the front desk, so that at least once after of the airconditioning look, but the only always said they send someone, but it has not getan. If you are after the disco then finally open the balcony door wanted, because of fresh air, was somewhere trash burned and a toxic, penetrating smell was in the air, early was also a black rußfilm on the balcony, we also had any animals (mice or a type of edible dormice with buschigem tail ) in the room the the door reinspazierten and everything anknabberten, the nights were the hell. read more

Can only recommend the stay to allow. The real nightmare in Karibik. 2 maximum three stars. Filthy and outdated. Risk of injury in the fitness and pool area. Lack of food and drinks. For hours at the front desk are. Remote and poor beach. And the 'schauinsland' absolutely unfriendly, uncooperative, cheeky. Of course you see at the end no cents again. Enclosed my repairs about the hotel and the organizer: Facilities / state of the hotel (room and entire hotel plant) •the furnishing of the rooms, public facilities such as elevator, toilets, restaurants, pool and so on. Is outdated and ... worn needs improvement. Although we in accordance with advice already in one of the newer rooms were, was this everything but a 4-star standard. •rooms: when entering of the room you can tell the extreme humidity and the strange smell (probably mold), what a not fully functioning airconditioning is due. We (couple both 27 years) spent our 3-week honeymoon in hotelbarceló capella beach in Juan dolio, dom. Republic we were from 3 january until 24 january in Karibik and we loved it. From ' kleinenschönheitsfehlern' in the bathroom and room apart were the bathroom and the rooms spacious, well maintained and accordingly our expectations designed. It was swept daily and the towels were changed. Before the room is however to 8., that one a room the 4000. Trademark gets, because it is the newest building and thus also the cleanest. The hotel and it's facilities were very well maintained, we were very surprised by the cleanliness, %blank% of the hotel, as well as from the right adjacent beach. Daily in the morning the whole area and the beach cleaned. The waiters was, perhaps because of small tips, very friendly and helpful. Even with german and small parts english you could communicate enough. Negative to mention are the many salesmen, which however out of the way will be can, by closer to to the hotel sets, because these are only allowed to check in direct sea near their articles sell. The tradesmen are but also always ready for fun and want only your money (bargaining is a must!). We have great relaxed and would go back in Karibik travel.-) read more

Alternatively, wi-fi (24 hours/day) for the entire vacation for 20 Dollar at the beach, which the german Robert and Gaby powered. During christmas and new year were mainly french and german of all ages in the hotel. Naturally also dominicans and puerto ricans, which very friendly are, partly friendlier than the german! Of course if you complained, that the locals only speak spanish and 'we are not at all times with which conversation', should soon in the uckermark region or in the vacation in ... the black forest make! read more

    Room was on the 4. floor the 4000. -blocks, with a direct ocean or beach. Room size absolutely sufficient. Bath tub had some faults, but it was bearable! Toilet was daily cleaned perfectly. The balcony was with appropriate chairs, as well as the possibility to dry the bathing things equipped. Room service was excellent, very clean and there was even 3 weeks every day fresh flowers in the room. All rooms with tv with about 30 channels in spanish, french, english and 1 channels in german (dw)! Air conditioning had proper performance, was however somewhat according to. In the room is next to hair dryer, iron, a coffee maker with coffee, which was daily refilled.

    The food in the main restaurant 'el pescador ' was diverse. There was a noodle bar, vegetarian food etc. Everyone could find something. Furthermore, there were 3 a la carte restaurants.     Located directly at the beach; opposite the hotel there is a small supermarket, the had almost everything. To the left approximately 50 meters is a pharmacy and a bank with atm. The vacation was good, as the weather it was great. The room had a great location only the condition was so worn. Just bad. The room staff only did the coerced. If the money for they put, was the away, only well a blanket for the night had begged are. At check-out on the final day it was then realized that on our terrace the table was missing (small plastic stools) only we not at all notice, because we do not continue on the small terrace were ( room on the ground floor) therefore, we had a massive problem and ... could the check-out initially.
