We could our vacation from the first minute onwards in this hotel enjoy. It is a smaller well run hotel. At the buffet there were no queues :-). The food was great. The rooms spacious and nicely furnished. The sandy beach ideal for kids. We will definitely go back :-) read more

The Bay in Vassilikos, Zakynthos, is a very familiar hotel with about hundred rooms in a very, very beautiful location, just in opposite of Peloponnes. The charming archtiecture of the hotel, the beach just in front of the hotel, the friendliness of people, the peaceful atmosphere, the distinguished international guests, often with children, the cleanliness, the attentive and cordial service, the clean rooms, Greek dancing evenings and more - all this and more makes The Bay to our beloved holiday home for years! read more

    We always spend our The Bay-holdays in an excellent family suite with sea view, a big balcony, kitchen for morning tea and so on, clean bathroom, comfortable beds - we like it very much!

    The restaurant consists of a great, clean dining area for the guest's breakfast and dinner and the buffet with cold and warm food in high quality and variety. Each one, who is no snob, will find something delicate and delicious to eat. And if you ask you can even get a special Greek coffee in the morning, which is excellent!!! The diner is mostly traditional mediterranean cuisine with some specials each week.

    The staff's friendliness is extraordinary, most of the very nice people speak English and some German. The romm service is excellent, we like very much the women who do this with attention and love! The same concerns to the Pool Bar with original mixers. Every wish you have is going to be fulfilled!

    The wonderful beach with finest sand belongs directly to the hotel - you need only a few steps - and includes sunbeds and natural sunshades. It is really a dream! You can sit at or even in the water and read, play beachball, eat and drink something and enjoy your holidays. To the Bay belongs a nice minimarket and, in Vassilikos just nearby, you find a market with friendly people, too. In about half an hour you reach Zakynthos City by car or by bus - a beautiful city with famous churches, flowers, buildings in italian style, museums, shops with fishes and fruits, bookshops, places and more - we go to there every year and find always new amazing things! And you con do boat tours, i.e. in glass bottom boat with Mario, to the caretta caretta beaches (carefulness and awareness, please!), to the Blue Caves (gracious colours!) and much more!!!

We had a very nice beach vacation. Pleasant staff. The beverage prices were ok. Our room was very nice, we had but also as a couple a family room (40 meters², bedroom and living area). We would the vacation repeat and are very relaxed back swept. read more

My husband and I spent a week at The Bay Hotel and loved it!! The staff were great.they made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and having fun. We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived at the hotel which has such a romantic and harmonic atmosphere not to forget to mention the beautifully, contemporary and very tastefully decorated suite with a view to die for or the amazing private beach,lovely pool and pool bar where we had lunch every day. We would definitely recommend a trip to The Bay Hotel &Suites. We were treated first class ... services from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! Thank you to all the staff for making it such a special trip for us, we are definitely going back this year again. read more

We were with friends on Zakythos and have a wonderful vacation spent. The beach was wonderful, the rooms good. The kitchen has done sterling work, as the much too small buffet room a logistical challenge. The air in the buffet room was intolerable. The dishes as such whereas good. The staff were friendly. Particular emphasis should be on the waiter Alesandro. He was simply brilliant. read more

Unfriendly Cockier waiter, minimal cleaning our suite, for infants at all not recommendable our daughter 8 months, everything super sharp and unclean only stairs! Very nice hotel with a beautiful beach. The hotel was clearly at the forefront. Nationalities very mixed (Italian, Russian, English, Austrians, Swiss, German). Very nice staff, no matter if at the reception, at the pool bar or in the restaurant (also a waiter has a nice thank the guest!), it is quite clear our waiter at the pool bar (in the evening). Rooms were OK, not too small. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. It was three times (free of charge) safe not opening, the problem was reported and within two hours of the safety deposit box was opened ... by the technician again. The only small drawback which the hotel had was the food. The hot food tasted sometimes not or had a poor quality. Starters and dessert were satisfactory. The food at the pool bar, so we were told, was perfect. Towels could against a deposit of 10 Euros per towel borrowed and every three days to be changed. Tip: eat lunch two further, very good prices and tasted also very well. Trip tips: from Skinari to the blue grottos drive. In Skinari are fewer tourists, thus a very short wait. Shipwreck of the observation deck upgrades. To the right a small path, up to the end go, from there you had a more beautiful view of the bay! read more

For families, this hotel is definitely a dream for a couple a few days of rest and relaxation for a nightmare-already at breakfast loud music, stormed the buffet, the loud music at the pool all day which to the beach to blasts. For children there were many game, the food was under any review. The quality of the fruit and the salad was not worthy of Greece, the food and tasteless. The restaurant sometimes dirty the buffet area looked sometimes terrible and the heat in the area simply be intolerable. read more

Great hotel, the rooms were very large and well equipped. The pool was clean. directly on a beautiful beach. Tavernas and supermarkets in the vicinity. Towels are free of charge. Cocktails were good. The entertainment was pleasant understated. The real large drawback was the dinner. Taste and variety of the food was horrible. So rather only breakfast and dinner in one of the nearby tavernas go. It is interesting the a la carte lunch at the pool bar and restaurant areas were superb. Also negative: return flight went only in the evening. No accommodating check-outverlängerung, but a whopping 30 Euros ... for the room until the evening. If you avoid the dinner the hotel is recommendable unbedint, volt, for families with small children. read more

A hotel where the recovery too short. No street noise, but the sound from the sea you can hear through the open window. The long sandy beach right outside the front door, walk there are many other things to see. We didn't like the dinner, so we were in a tavern where it was close enough is. In the hotel a beer costs. Dzl 21/2 and espresso three euros, for I am not entirely appropriate. read more

Very good hotel. Worth it to explore the island rentals cars. Opportunities at the beginning are very far away from the hotel (for a party vacation unsuitable). The only real drawback of the hotel: uncomfortable mattress. But I have stayed in Greece never found. Otherwise very good hotel. To be recommended. read more

The hotel is in a great location, directly on the beautiful beach, no other hotels next door, a number of taverns in the proximity, quiet location. If you're looking for peace and beach on holiday, you will find it at this hotel. Best to hire a car and explore the island. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. read more

As a 4 star hotel in Greece respectively in southern European countries to accept; in Northern Europe it would more likely be a 3 star hotel. Very personable in terms of sandy beach ( free umbrellas and beach chairs, virtually no Standhändler) and peace ( no loud "entertainment"). Always enough places on the beach. Negative is the loud music ( rap, hip-hop etc. ) At the pool bar. Also in the restaurant constant background music. The chairs are way too low. Generally rather poor, poor selection with little variation. The many stairs are for infirm people very cumbersome. read more

Great place to relax! No noise and great beach! The rooms are in great shape and very spacious with a great air conditioning and large balcony! The buffet food could be a bit more Greek cuisine and mentionable include. read more

Generally speaking this hotel seemed more than it was. It was in need of renovation and in no way up to 4* standards. We had booked a suite... a joke. Cleanliness left to be desired too. We had booked half board, guests of different nationalities, also age. read more

    We had booked a suite...*laugh* no hair-dryer as promised, no working phone, stains in the bathroom, in total untended and in no way 4*, 3* could be discussed. :-(

    The food tasted good, but was offered in a loveless way and not very varied either. The restaurant was comparable to a hall at the train station, uncomfortable, impersonal and also not clean. Bad atmosphere, we always left quickly after dinner.

    The reception was always friendly, also the cleaning staff. A catastrophy was the restaurant staff, from partly friendly to catastrophy, all there. Complaints are dealt with relaxed and without really *being able* to change anything.

    We looked for *our* beach and found it in Gerakas. We had rented a car for the whole time, something that definitely makes sense, for those who want to see a bit of this wonderful island. The island made us forget our anger with the hotel.
