Have now stayed in this hotel about 3 times over the last 10 years.
Located inside the main railway station, therefore very suitable if you arrive by train ( "Roll off, Roll on")!
Tucked away in a corner somehow this hotel still offers peace and tranquility.
In the price of your stay you receive a ticket which enables you to free public transport inside the Stuttgart region.
Modern and well appointed rooms.
Sufficient size and bright bathrooms.
Well stocked minibar and not to pricey.
They only serve breakfast in the restaurant,however being located at the railway station there are ... literally dozen of fast food outlets and also close proximity to restaurants in the city centre. read more

The intercityhotel Stuttgart lives especially of its unbeatable location in the main station.
The assigned room was obviously not a long time ago renovated, showed but smaller defects (painting!). The bathroom of satisfactory size was decorated up to date, the heat lamp instead of a radiator enough.
The breakfast buffet included everything, you need for a good start of the day.
The staff %blank% in the breakfast room, as also at the front desk worried friendly and attentive to the wishes the hotel guests.
In short: for a city break is the intercityhotel good choice. read more

The connection to the remote and suburban traffic is super! That was for me the reason to choose this hotel. However I would not again make.
Unfortunately could no non-smoking rooms be offered anymore, so I - luckily only one night - in a totally after nicotine stinky room had to sleep. The window I could during the night because of the direct access to a main road unfortunately not on overhead places.
The bathroom was not done. Everything is made of plastic, mold on the ceiling, hairs in the washbasin. All together very old and in need of renovation. read more

Nice Intercity Hotel, facilities for a station hotel absolutely sufficient. Very nice i found, that one as a hotel guest the public transport was provided for free. read more

Directly on the train station location and very central to the main shopping street. Room was clean and functional. Unfortunately no extra beds for the rooms available, since the sizes too small. That is to say either a double room or a room with three single beds take. read more

The hotel seemed from the outside, in the entrance area and in the hallways first dated. Our room was however right newly renovated and standard to this hotel chain. The location at the main station is central, the current practices and construction didn't disturb us not. Breakfast room definitely not the best atmosphere, breakfast however rich and well, staff friendly. read more

the hotel lies right on the main station.
the situation was crucial for us, that we had booked.
our room was well maintained. But felt however part shabby.
the bath/toilet wasn't so hygienic. It was clean. But also here you had the feeling, old charm to see.
the bed was too soft for us. And a little narrow. For 2 nights okay.
the breakfast buffet was OK... But in my opinion not worth the extra charge.
but everybody has to decide for themselves. read more

I am still with some trepidation when I my stay think! My room was very worn. The ceiling had mold spots. The bathroom was small, musty and very worn with mold in the joints and a shower is almost falling apart. The staff gave me at the check out said that I had a room that wasn't't yet renovated, but the full price of why / €114night (without breakfast)! I can't understand was required. A renovated room was the very high price can not justify, therefor the quality of the furnishings, facilities and included in the room rate services three ... star hotel not high enough. On the reservation was the room advertised with Wi-Fi, on arrival you wanted therefor then again €4 per hour therefor demand. I can, due to my very bad experience, to anyone for an overnight stay, be it business or be it leisure advise you not to go there! read more

Very good equipment and condition of the room. In spite of the central location the room was very quiet. It is a pity that this fine decor and ambience that continues throughout the hotel. Apparently were the rooms recently renovated. The breakfast buffet is adequate, but the IC hotel Frankfurt city Messe this apparently other standards (for three star excellent!). read more

Staff was rather unfriendly and not zuvotkommend, as the steigenberger group could expect really. The bathroom has no heating, but only a heat lamp, the heat could not sufficient donations. read more

Very recommendable for short, as in the main station, as well as with underground and S-Bahn. Optimal shopping possibilities in the near vicinity and within easy walking distance reachable. We are very much looking forward to go back! read more

We only stayed at this hotel for one night in a room on the third floor. The check-in and the front desk for a good car park were good. In the room there was a minibar, a tv (both not used) and the usual facilities (comfortable clean bed, desk, closet/wardrobe, vanity, air conditioning). The bathroom was small, but very nice! This was our favorite. Very luxurious. It was apparently renovated recently. Shower with granite (?) plate and a drain around the target. A large shower head with mixer tap. The sink was large and modern. Plenty of space on the ... file under the large mirror with integrated lighting. Slopes, toilet, towel, Kleenex- Spenderbox, Infra-red heat lamp on the ceiling (switched on request), air deduction, glass door. Cleanliness: very good.
The dining-we have not used.
The noise from the landing the train station through the windows well insulated.
Check-out was not a problem.

The updated areas is relatively nice. is on the ground floor at night the noise level very high due to the current passers-by, especially at the weekends, so it is best to get a room book, which was not on the ground floor or first floor... read more

I can't reccomend this hotel at all. Even though it is at a convenient location there are other hotels in the same area. The front desk staff was very unpleasant and not all that professional. The building is dated and the room should have been renovated ages ago. (Maybe if the room would have been clean it would have not been so obvious). We had no hot water during our stay. (Not pleasant trying to shower in ice cold water). When we informed the front desk we were told the entire hotel had no hot water and it would make ... no sense to change rooms. But wait the next morning during check-out it suddenly was just our room without hot water. The staff was not in any way concerned about our experience. The included breakfast was also nothing to talk about. Watered down coffee with bread and juices made of powder. Definatley not worth the money they are asking for. I could not get paid to stay in this establishment again. SCHADE read more

I was about 1/2 year in this hotel (Superior room) for four nights and was satisfied. The room was well appointed and the bathroom seemed to be very new and furnished to a high standard. That is why I selected this hotel again (only one night) with the same room category. There are three things this time I did not like.HCLFHL1. I had my Internet stick at home and I had to buy at the front desk a Internet access. For me is one in this room category and the price (at least 116 €).HCLFHL2. The volume in ... the room (ground floor) was a bit too loud (outside noise). I was a bit surprised as the last time I at the same floor in the, in the same hallway just a room farther and no noise from the outside was to be heard.HCLFHLthirdly, the tv reception was absolutely bad (that wasn't important for me).HCLFHLHCLFHLI complained about the volume and the tv reception in the room. The nice lady at the front desk, or that looked and who promised to take care of it (seal the broken window). They offered me another room, but since it was late and I don't want to pack my things, I stayed in the room.HCLFHLHCLFHLUnfortunately, I can only partly recommend the hotel. One of the reasons therefor is also a week ago in the hotel (5 star) Graf Zeppelin (across the street, also steigenberger) and stayed overnight for a better room (larger, sound-proofed and free Wi-Fi! and pool) only have 19 €paid.HCLFHLHCLFHLI was nevertheless on the departure of the price. 99€HCLFHLHCLFHLHCLFHL read more

The hotel is in the main building of the station integrated Stuttgart. This convenient location is about the only positive thing about this hotel. My main criticism is the completely inadequate price/performance ratio. A single room costs about 100 euro, but in my opinion not more than 50/60 euros. The hotel is just plain old, outdated and shabby all facilities. Elevator too small, access to the rooms was nested. Room on the third floor, elevator in the first then long until the next elevator and then into the third!. The rooms itself I would call time than sleeping quarters. Also ... here everything was shabby and very unfriendly. Mattress worn, pillows too thin. Carpet sharpened. The Bathroom. of course also very tired and shabby. The joints between the tiles are unappetizing dirty. The twist was that water. Tap turned on-and-brown water out. Just disgusting. After two minutes better, but that didn't work. Because of construction in the train station, but to be honest, still a good hotel provides clean water. read more
