Good Hotel 10 min from Pyramids

This hotel is a 10 min drive from the pyramids in a quiet edge of town area. In the summer it is quite popular with Egyptian families and it receives some European tour parties overnighting in Cairo. The rooms are in a chalet arrangement so you may have a 150 m walk from the reception area. The room fittings are not modern, but are serviceable and well maintained. There is nowhere to safely walk outside the hotel as it is dark and the main road would be a death trap for pedestrians. There are also no local cafes or restaurants ... outside of the hotel site.
The food in the bar area is acceptable with the usual fare though portions are a little small. The Italian restaurant upstairs has better food and is good value for money. Meats and pasta dishes are tasty but the lasagne is actually terrible. If the rates at hotels nearer the pyramids such as Mouvenpick, Mercure etc. are too high this is a good alternative for couple of nights. read more

Except for the fact, that- entgegten the brochure -the swimming pool it is not heated (and it was really January cold, although the sun was shining, there were only the detail to complain about, so that the butter served frozen was, that you could not delete. I would recommend this hotel absolutely recommend and best decimal. Down to the next Metro station to get, you should have a normal taxi take and not hotel taxi, because there was only one-quarter of total price cost. read more

The hotel is nice and quiet location, but completely off the beaten path. The only way is the taxi and one was dependent on the goodwill of the staff, other taxis that the hotel taxis can arrange, since the hotel in about 50-taxis automatically hundred % surcharge on the 'real' fare have. read more

the hotel lies next to a busy street. The whole of night is the horns from the trucks to be heard. The furniture was already very worn and the carpet smelled after walking. A shuttle service to the city centre the hotel offers. read more

The OASIS is a small oasis in Giza, although on a busy street side it is very quiet, the menu is varied and tasted very good (subjective) the complex was clean and very recommendable. There is a free bus to the University, from there with the metro in the city center a Le per direction. The staff is friendly and very helpful. You got along with English very well, German was spoken very seldom. read more

After an excellent Nile cruise ship at (Ms la Terrasse) had, this hotel was a bit of a shock. In comparison, it was not very clean and the service left a lot to be desired. The Nile cruise if we stay in Cairo after had done, we could have a bad review may not be so, as we are already aware of, that the standard in Egypt not compare with German relationship. But we have seen on the basis of the vessel, that it actually clean rooms and friendly staff can give. These are in the hotel, unfortunately. At the ... next time we book more stars Cairo. read more

It is a hotel area with houses in bungalow style in a very nice garden area. There are pools in a relaxed environment.
It's a little off of Giza/Giza, but about three cm of the pyramids.
You can either take the hotel shuttle to the university or to the taxi. The footpath is difficult. For trips to Cairo Giza I have always locals minibuses used (by English ask, therefor only £1 per drive). read more

The hotel is a Typical city hotel: it is designed, you in the morning after breakfast went sightseeing. It is located on a very busy street-the rooms but relatively quiet in bungalow style to the rear. This is great-in Cairo itself you will find it hard to get a quiet room.
The breakfast offered basically everything (fruit, yogurt, cheese/sausage, eggs). The staff are very attentive and friendly.
The one or the other long black hair, the not to us, we stayed in bed and bath. So-either fluff-role and clean up or ignore! read more

We loved this hotel due to the great room. All rooms are in the field of palms resort in cabanas building. The rooms are large in relation (huge beds, each 140 centimeter wide). A huge bathroom leaves nothing to be desired! For handicapped perhaps not necessarily the correct, since the main path has a slope (but the staff will certainly). The palms resort is sensational well maintained. Due to the short duration, it was unfortunately not possible to explore the whole area. Liked the main dining restaurant; everything was great; staff helpful; everything was fresh. Visitors here mostly American and ... German. If and when I return Cairo, may stay here again! read more

For a short stay to visit the sights in Cairo superb. A walk along the main road not recommended (no sites available). Very heavy traffic. In the area the walks are possible, because it was very spacious. The staff was very attentive and friendly. A communication in English with the staff is uncomplicated. read more

We only stayed for one night at the oasis and would not hesitate to stay again (even for two or three nights). If you are traveling from the busy street
maximum capacity of the hotel's park entrance, is the benefit of the doubt, if you really wanted to spend a quiet night. The hotel has its name but with good reason: almost as soon as you entered, one had the feeling on the noise and poor Air Cairo behind. You feel really like in an oasis of peace, for you are looking for a busy sightseeing program is very sensitive. ... Both dinner, as well as breakfast were-taste and choice-really good. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the pyramids, in order to visit to see the light show in the evening and the pyramids the next morning the whole thing with natural light. The night was wonderfully quiet, -we slept like the babies. read more

Hotel room a cottage in a garden area. You had the feeling in your own house. Rooms were clean and regularly cleaned. Entire staff were very friendly and not constantly behind tip ago. Our half board in the morning and evenings in buffet form enough. Everything you for breakfast or dinner needed was sufficiently available. And it tasted very good. On the complex itself is a pool and a restaurant/ café. Hotel complex outside of town, but almost within sight the pyramids. Shuttle bus from the hotel to the city center was offered. read more
