Nice and quiet hotel on the outskirts of Malindi

Very nice hotel on the edge of Malindi. With the TUC-TUC you go for 100 KES in the city. There you could get everything, which one needs. The hotel doesn't have a lot of room and so it is rather quiet. There was no entertainment in the neighboring Hotel (if you want). Spa and wellness direct at the beach. The hotel has its own beach with beach chairs (towels are changed every day). The beach Boys should you just ignore them. It is not up to the hotel beach, as a security guard careful. Basically, it makes more sense to ... urge them to be rather less to buy, as literally around the corner from the souvenir shops are the beach Boys 'zoom in ' things. The food is very good and is also received characteristics (for example, a vegetarian). The rooms are spacious and equipped with all essential (safety deposit box, hair dryer, tv). There are only 4-5 channels and it didn't have German there. The water for showering was sometimes only lukewarm, but that didn't disturb us actually. For bathing in the bath however, it would be better, if the water would be warmer. Outside the main time ' shower the water is warm. At the concierge can you buy a Kenyan SIM card (cheaper than in the hotel shop). Safaricom roamt in Germany, the Vodafone group. Otherwise you should visit at the end of a home and the other ' (medicines, clothes) things donations. It is also a few pencils and erasers and books to buy them in the supermarket before.
If you want to visit to home, then it seems to be the rule, that you bring something. In this case, it might be more difficult to: 500 KES for women and 200 KES per child. The people were all very friendly and during the day you can everywhere 'alone without hesitation' go! read more

The hotel including food:
As you can see straight, we loved this hotel very good. The hotel is under the Italian management, the food is of good quality and very varied. Of stomach and gastro as in some other countries and the hotel no trace. For dinner, there were it is a five course menu. Per menu point there were different meals to choose from. It was always something for every taste.
Staff:
Always friendly and always tried really be of the highest quality. From the front desk, the waiters, the gardeners, cleaners to security everyone always had a few ... nice words on their lips. The gardeners picked us up at any time fresh Kokusnüsse of a palm tree, peeled and ready.
Rooms:
3x a day room cleaning, new hand towels, minibar refill. Evening turn-down. Everything was clean and perfect with the exception of the Jacuzzi tub. The jets was easier to see lime and mould so that we didn't use them.
Beach/pool:
The pool and the beach was cleaned several times a day. Everything was clean. Service at the pool and at the beach. No plastic. And the private beach of security guard-Keyword beach boys.
Children:
Less suitable for children, since it was a hotel for relaxation. However, you can use the in the neighboring Hotel entertainment and sporting activities everything. So you can take what you want. Peace/relaxation and perfect service and delicious food in the dream of Africa and entertainment and sport next door.
Snorkeling and diving offers, as well as Safari offers right in front of the hotel.
I can only recommend this hotel. read more

We have before and after our Safari in this hotel great holiday. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It became obvious and easy on my special requests received as vegetarians. The majority of the guests (as in Malindi) come from Italy. The staff spoke very good English. The German language is its partly understood and spoken. The rooms are very spacious and well decorated. The pool chairs could be improved, but OK. All in all a really very well-kept and very good hotel. read more

The hotel offers everything for those seeking peace! The staff always tried very friendly, honest, always willing to help, but 'more haste, less speed'
The food was always freshly prepared even the smallest extra wishes were fulfilled, if possible. Only fresh fruit juices! Cheap drinks and no replacement.
Toilet area was the pool/beach very clean is almost always fresh towels stdl cleaned guests. Pool/wooden beach chairs with cushions cushions good.
Beach bar offered snacks for in between always fresh. The public beach at the sea leaves a lot to be desired, bathing shoes are a must. A popular currency exchange ... with the beach Boys are, inter alia, ballpoint pen sweets and clothes of all kinds. US Dollar before 2000 are not accepted. read more

Gorgeous hotel right on the beach. The junior suites are huge. One comes first into a patio with two rattan chairs and a table with chairs, then you enter the actual room. There is a living room with couch, armchair, table and a tv (no German channels, no German wave). This is an area with Terra Cotta tiles and the sleeping area equipped with wooden floors. The bathroom was very large, equipped with two sinks, Jacuzzi tub, large shower and separate toilet with bidet.
For breakfast you could order fresh eggs variations all, other than that, it was always fresh ... juices and fruit. Sausage and cheese selection was rather well arranged.
Lunch menu, appetizers at the buffet. Furthermore, there were always two different soups, pasta and 2-3 main courses and dessert twice again at the buffet. In the evening as well. Whoever complained here, should better stay at home. In some
older reviews said, that it was always the pasta was! Yes, there was every day, pasta, but there were many other dishes. Pasta was as a starter.
In the afternoon by the pool/beach fruits, as well as wet eucalyptus towels. Also the choice of drinks was very large. For stray, imported alcoholic drinks you had to pay, otherwise, everything was all-inclusive.
The service was great, very nice staff, spoke German very well, among other languages.
There was nothing to complain about, absolutely recommendable.
A small drawback was there and that was the pool area. The beach chairs could have used a coat of paint or should be exchanged. Since it was the end of the season, there may well be, these things are now being made. read more
