Situated in the diplomatic area Genf located, the bus point 5 (to the airport respectively into the city) stops right in front of the door, from the hotel you also get a free card to use the public transportation.
Wi-Fi internet access -connection in the entire hotel and the rooms free of charge.
From the outside is the first impression the Inerconti (from the 60. Years) not so great, but it is one of the oldest hotels by intercontinental in Europa.
Inside-all public spaces and the rooms was elaborately renovated, unfortunately on 3 floors not the bathrooms have been renovated-and ... I had a typical bathroom from the 70.
Service and hotel employees - a very large praise, from check-in to check-out, in the restaurant or wherever, a very good and also service-oriented staff, always friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was really great, delicious products and very nice presented, egg dishes were freshly prepared and served at the table.
The rooms, a bit small. But in pleasant colors and even a coffee-and coffee making facilities was included, otherwise usual facilities a 5 star hotel expected. The bathroom was unfortunately not renovated and gleaming in the charm of the 70., good products in the bathroom. read more

We were for one night in the IC Genf. Really nice reception staff, very welcoming! As Royal Ambassador there was a free upgrade to a beautiful corner junior suite, very nice view over the town and above all on the lake. On the morning of departure daily we could the zwembadgedeelte as only guests and something relaxation. The breakfast we didn't try them, 36 SFR seemed too much... But it matched the high price level the Switzerland. Would the hotel immediately use again! Oh, parking was 36 Swiss Franc. read more

The interconti Genf with the public bus from cornavin train station or airport, stop almost in front of the hotel, cheaper and gleichschnell as taxi. Very nice front desk/adoption, nice rooms, i had a view of the city. The bar is also comfortable. Here you have everything that you need and it is also worth the money. Location is between train station and airport, north-east. So rather way from the center who into town wants, but on the way to the airport. Very good beds, have marvelously slept. I can recommend this house. read more

The hotel is located between the airport and the city center nearby the United Nations into a residential area. From the airport the hotel is about twelve minutes with the bus five. Intercontinental bus station, right next to the hotel.HCLFHLThe Intercontinental is an older Hotel. Due to the colors of sanitary articles in our room (bahamabeige) I guess, that it was built in the late seventies.HCLFHLThere is a large outdoor swimming pool with many beach chairs. At the pool bar there are small tables, where you can eat. However, it is expensive, and not just because of the ... current exchange rate: a small coke nine franc, a club sandwich 32 franc.HCLFHLOur standard room in the ninth floor area was equipped with a comfortable double bed, flat screen tv, safe, kettle, minibar, air conditioning and ample storage space for clothes. The bathroom was very small: shower, you must climb the high bath, toilet and sink, that's no longer the Waschtischwar from the first generation sanitary articles.HCLFHLAt night the noise bothered us, despite the windows closed.HCLFHLThe cleanliness of the room was okay. Especially in the bathroom with tub and scratches at the furniture but door age.HCLFHLThe check-in and check-out was friendly and efficient, otherwise we had no contact with the staff.HCLFHLHCLFHLTips: on arrival in Geneva with the plane in the arrivals area nearby the luggage bands machines with free tickets for the public transport. The tickets apply 80 minutes and you can go in connection with the ticket or the boarding pass to his hotel. The hotel offers for every overnight guest free tickets for public transport from. Good business hotel, great outdoor pool (open summer only) in vicinity to UN. No nearby restaurants. They offer one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever seen. Some rooms have view over the city and mountains. Bus #5 from airport and downtown stops right in front of hotel. 15 minutes walking to Lake Geneva. read more

Our double room was incredibly small for the fortune. There are hardly any storage space, hardly outlets, only one chair, but a huge tv with many German programs. Highlight was the large, incredibly comfortable bed with a cuddly blanket and many different pillows (and hardness classes). The window could be only tilted. Unfortunately in the road clearly heard.HCLFHLThe bathroom has no windows and offers very little space for the gear. The toilet seat is cracked several times from its mounting. The toilet paper was only single layer, yuck. The shower has no shower curtain, only half a slice, the ... water can keep, so every time you showered the bathroom under water. Completely incomprehensible and disgusting is the mold in the joints!HCLFHLAnd: I tedious after our beach toiletries under the mirror was convival, I realized the next cleaning by the hotel staff, that my things stacked on top of each other had, in order to put imposed by the testers and mini hand towels (my previous for space in the bathroom) on the right place for you. Stay away from my things I can only say!HCLFHLHCLFHLThe breakfast is wide, but extremely expensive. Likewise the meals, which one served in the lobby. The staff is quite unfriendly and a little forgetful.HCLFHLThere is a parking garage, but also the is very expensive. read more

At the front desk we were promised 'ambassador' first due to a free night, which was cancelled. Morning meals to 10,30 o'clock. Around three quarters 09,30 o'clock were already covered area for lunch. Many arriving was clear, that they only at certain tables could have breakfast. At our nebentischen during the whole breakfast for lunch newly layed down. Guests had to wait until the tables were newly set were, despite the fact that three-quarters of the breakfast room ovelooking for lunch was set. It is a typical business Hotel. The hotel is almost exclusively with the staff of ... the international organisations (UN) occupied. The hotel is not recommended. read more

I stayed in the hotel with eighteen other people of the Dutch press. Everything was arranged by the Swiss Tourist Association. They asked us to fill in this review when we were back home. That's the case right now. I really would like to go back to the hotel soon, because of the atmosphere and service. The swiss national team was also in the hotel at the time we were there. That was an extra bonus for our stay, I could say. read more

Refurbish the rooms like the enrance andlobby/ bars. The overall standard room size is small and old fashioned decorated without the latest in-room facilities (e.g. control of light, airco - badroom facilities). read more

Great hotel with easy and quick access to airport. The room (8th floor) had a marvellous view over Geneva and its lake. Nice and tasty breakfast with high variety of fresh fruits. read more
