Great apartment, very wonderful pool!

In this hotel we had an apartment with a bedroom. This was very spacious and everything was super clean. Also everything looked very new. The staff at reception were extremely friendly and we could with any request help. Parking is in front of the hotel free of charge. The hotel complex is also very well maintained. The pool is very nice with a swim-up bar. Here you can it is located on the comfortable wicker loungers very good. Cocktailpreise at the bar there were completely okay. To the very nice beach you need on foot about 5 minutes. We were ... sad, so we only one night in this hotel in port Douglas spend could. read more

the rooms the spray charm an American motel from the seventies, the bathroom fixtures are on the status of the second world war, small Safety deposit box without an electronic lock, no mini bar, in the lobby although 2 vending machines, but without the right not only to and $5 bills, therefor also no ATM in the hotel available. No Housekeeping on Sunday. Breakfast buffet british, not very extensive and scrambled egg/ Bacon regularly cold and unattractive. Although very friendly staff, but not well organized, waiting times for waiters plan. Pool area good and clean. read more

    The rooms are very spacious and beautifully appointed. The room cleaning was also very good. In general, the area was very quiet and well maintained.

    In the area there was a restaurant and a bar which was across from the reception. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, meats, cheeses, cooked meats and fresh fruit; in the evening we ate twice at the restaurant, which was fine. The restaurant as well as the whole area made a very clean impression. For the quality of food as a whole, well, the Australian people are no Gourmetköche. But for us that was previously its idiosyncrasies.

    The check-in was quick and friendly. The staff is very nice as always in Australia. We had a small problem with the end of our tour (was at the tour operator Terra Nova); the ladies at the front desk gave us the fix the problems strongly supported. But thanks again.

    The hotel is a bit out of Port Douglas (approx. 40 minute walk) set in landscaped grounds. The beach is about 5 minutes walking distance. Shopping and entertainment possibilities are in Port Douglas - distance as I had previously mentioned. There is a shuttle bus to Port Douglas drive the several times a day. We didn't make use of that, we walked.

Very nice hotel. Grounds and pool nicely arranged but unfortunately with courtyard character, the pool is of the individual units. Special highlight is a handzahmer kakadu at the front desk. Dream beach is about a hundred meters away from the hotel. At check-in you know, the one hundred per night for deposit (we didn't know, us from the tour operator not been told, that is why we only on 200 deposit). But you get the money back upon check-out. read more
