The rooms are very spacious, the room service was without any complaints -always clean, fresh towels were almost every day in the room. Taba heights is a luxury oasis consisting of 5 hotels (Three Corners, Marriott, Sofitel, and Hyatt regancy, intercontinenal ) which for us the intercontinental was the best. The hotel consists of approximately 500 rooms the generously in a nice hotel laid out. The hotel was for egyptian standards very clean and very well maintained. The complex is approximately 7 years old and super good, large palm trees provide sufficient sun protection. We had all-inclusive including dinaround (food in the restaurants of the other hotels inclusive drinks free daily possible). In the direct there are certainly other food, however not recommendable. ... Almost everything included in the price Wlan was in the lobby free and in the room for a nominal fee by cable to get. The guest structure was international wide mixed. Because we at easter there were many arab families (40%), the from israel came, as we have learned there vacation spend. There were 7 holiday through the paschafest.     We had all-inclusive inclusive Dine around(9 restaurants at 5 hotels). Brilliant i can only say. So good we have never had and i have at least half of the world most 4 and 5 star hotels. The register was simple-just please early on in the morning of the previous day at the front desk do-. We got only once said fully booked, however then another restaurant booked that we wanted to visit. We went every day in another restaurant (thai, mexican, arabic, belgian, grill restaurant) and even the buffet we once visited, because we late from israel returned was diverse and rich. There were other options we in one week not managed. In every restaurant very well maintained, every day something else, always with taste. I was able to get something not even in a dream imagine. Very well was also the free regular bus service (taf taf) in taba heigths to quickly get in the other hotels (restaurants) and back to the hotel to come. The breakfast and lunch we have always in the hotel taken, the breakfast was particularly rich with pressed juices and everything what we want. Perfect without a single problem. Lunch we almost always a snack at the beach restaurant el mar enjoyed, greek salad with real cheese, pizza, hamburgers (without hammelgeschmack!) , pasta etc. The buffet was also of the highest quality with large diversity (perhaps better than in the evening, as not lots of guests the used). The drinks were always high quality, almost everything was free and generally from the bottle of (also at the bars at the beach- cocktails with real juice and never chemiepampe!) Only at the pool and the beach from quality plastikgläsern, otherwise generally glass like at home. We also have ice and salads. In spite of the long transfers, we have a well run hotel with a very nice staff had. My wife and i have very well run. The food was varied and very tasty. Prior to we have very a lot of reviews about the hotel read. At the end we have to say 'all meeting. Both the positive, as but also the negative. After a tiring journey and arrival in the evening we saw the negative impressions other visitors are confirmed. We were in the week before easter there, the long winter in Germany to get away from it all. A great badehotel with great beach and beautiful landscaped grounds. The hotel and taba heights itself compensate sufficiently the long transfer time of almost 3 hours. Dine around is a brilliant art the dinner to make. Top ambience and a maximum variety. Great idea from the management! We would gladly come again and plan a week in october. Unfortunately the hotel is currently there is still not available?! Perhaps the management yes here is a reply give. We would be pleased. read more

    We had a double room with extra bed. Despite 3 people the room was big enough with a very nice terrace. View of the lagoon and on the sea inclusive. Size of the bathroom was also completely fine.     Large pool, one heated with 27 degrees. The lagoon was also a nice touch. If you stay in the salt water want to swim but not into the sea want is in the right place here.     Taba heights is a bit isolated. For a beach vacation however also not compellingly necessary. The beach is right on the doorstep and is wide and sandy. About the short rocky edge at the water's edge you can climb over and bathe then the flat and clean water. If you are snorkelling wants, one goes simply 2 hotels further and there is a reef at the beach - great. Super also the excursion possibilities. We were a day in Petra - Jordan. If the authorities nor the education and entry professional handle (long waiting periods) would, it would be perfect. Israel is also possible but very expensive. For golfers : great facilities direct on the complex.

The current general conditions in Egypt didn't to stop, back several weeks at the intercontinental taba heights to spend. And as always wonderful. Everybody was concerned the stay as well as possible. Room with a view of the sea over the gulf are a dream, 4 countries in the view. Thanks a lot to the staff and in particular to the manager for the relaxing and successful weeks. Sun and heat guaranteed at 30 degrees. Emphasized should be, that the number of the german for the first time is increasing. Good excursion possibilities exist amongst others after israel and Jordan/Petra ... ( connection directly from the Marina taba from). I am coming again. read more

    The food was plentiful for all meals most nights there was a themed evening, and if you wished you could book a ala carte restaurant at an extra charge, you could also if you wished had a meal at another hotel if you were A I but you have to pay for your drinks. We enjoyed the food all the time there was a steam corner with fish & chicken as well as steamed. We tipped mostly when we are leaving and did noticed that all the waiters in the dining room put into a collective box. As with other parts of the hotel the dining room was immaculate, one of our waiters was Mahmoud who had a twinkle in his eye but was very charming and helpful.

    This is a very friendly hotel and the staff are lovely, at our welcome meeting the rep arranged for heads of dept. to welcome us from the Head Chef down to the Golf Manager and Diving Centre, I have never known that before, and the bottom line was if you wanted something then please just ask. Our room was cleaned everyday and could not be faulted.

    There was an animation team but my wife and me went to the beach everyday were there was a quiet area, there was something always going on either on the beach or around the main pool, my wife and i availed ourselves to the indoor pool which most days we had to ourselves there is also a squash court close to the indoor pool The sun beds had reasonably thick cushions on and there were beach towels provided set under a fixed palm tree like parasol with a wind break

    You are right on the beach and the hotel has a golf course just across the road, you are at most 1hr from the airport if you fly into Taba, some German guests have a 3hr transfer from Sharm. Taba is a very quiet resort which suited my wife and me, there is a bus that goes on a circular route round the other hotels. You can book excursions to Petra and Jerusalum, across the Red Sea you can see Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel

The whole hotel area is-as you know-away from any hustle and bustle, is however well integrated three to four adjacent resort, as well as the above via shuttle bus attainable loading area and uptown. Is outstanding the location at the beach, the marvelous sea view of the vast number of rooms and the size, and decor of the individual rooms. The whole gastronomy area was good. The lunch at the beach bar could be somewhat komfortalber miss and should perhaps in buffet form arranged. This would the atmosphere enjoyable. You could but also on the beautiful terrace of the main ... restaurant again. Here the food was excellent and complete atmosphere pleasant. To emphasize is also the friendliness of the staff. There were a all wishes to the eyes. The competence and friendliness of the staff positive to emphasize. The from the room service on the staff at the bars and in the restaurants up to the front desk. Good management of the hotel one noticed also at the ubiquity of the hotel-manager. He was always and everywhere competent information available and picked unobtrusive again and again the contact with the staff and guests. The dine-around is certainly a nice idea, but the implementation is too complicated. Our guide took twenty minutes, this reasonably comprehensible fully explain. The booking request on the day before a restaurant visit takes a bit of the urlaubsspontanität. Nevertheless, we have the dine-around at the lagoon bar. The food and the mood therefore around were great. At the beach we had before the atriumhaus a shower wanted or we have not found. The possibilities for outings are in the time of the german organizers a little limited. We were in Petra. It was perhaps not so great as expected, but actually worth seeing. Only they bedin the unnecessary waiting times for entry and exit of Egypt to Jordan and vice versa (a total of four hours waiting time) the ausflugsfreude. Unfortunately, we got the trip to Jerusalem from above considerations leave. Mitreise reported but, that the border control liquid and satisfied this trip absolutely should do. Whom here it does not like, should stay at home. It is incomprehensible what it for nörgler gives. We would like to know how these people at home are. You should also the value for money into account. We were already often in Egypt (Nile runs 2 times and often in Hurghada), but here we by far the best. We are also very much in the world bad and can certainly a review. We had a room with a sea view, it was always clean. The staff of the pool (Mustafa) starting to the service was extremely friendly and accommodating. ... It will just be so, as one called in the forest, so they resound through back. Reviews (Michael 51-55 in march 13) (definitely no evaluation of the south german) cannot not reconstruct we. What we also criticize, the chairs and the tables on the speisesaalterrasse, as well as the old television sets. (a change on the part of the directorate has already promised) Also the dinner around really enjoyed. That a 3-hour transfer is know and didn't bother us. The weather is fantastic and compensated for many things. We were definitely not for the last time here. read more

Lovely hotel with great amenities, right on the beach but with a couple of pools. Stayed all inclusive (first time ever) and was really pleasantly surprised by the standard of food and variation of menu's offered. Lots of drink choices and even the local Egyptian wine offered on all inclusive was perfectly quaffable :) Room was a really good size with great views of the pools and the sea beyond. Mainly British and German guests at the time of year we stayed. read more

    3 Restaurants - went to all 3. Indoor restaurant was the main one for all inclusive . Huge selection of breakfasts and for lunch always several cooked options as well as really well stocked salad bars. Never got bored of the food. El Mar can be used for a more restricted snack at lunch on the all-inclusive and was located by the pool with outside shaded area. Several bars all offering good service including drinks served on the beach.

    Nothing was too much trouble. Having been hassled a bit in Sharm, was expecting the same here, but not the case. Always welcomed into the dining room by a friendly smile and a joke. Most staff speak excellent English as well as several other languages (putting us to shame). Room was cleaned to a high standard each day

    Pools very clean and well maintained. Internet connection was a little hit and miss. Did our morning stretching class on the beach which was a lovely way to start the day (not too early at 10.30) and there were several other classes offered . Only watched the hotel entertainment on one night so cant really comment on the standard. Beach cleaned every night. Windy in March but there are windbreaks to hide behind.

    Right on the beach front in a resort of around 5/6 hotels. Felt like their location was the best - certainly the grounds and beach was better looked after than the Hyatt ! Small shops and bank in hotel. Bus to local 'down town' which had further resort shops restaurants and bars. Great location for a relaxing holiday!

As pensioners, we have returned to the Intercontinental in search of a restful holiday in the sun in excellent surroundings . We rate both the accommodation and quality of food very highly indeed providing in both cases excellent value for money. The staff were without exception efficient, courteous and charming. We cannot comment on the hotel provision for children or the disabled but last year we went on a trip to Jerusalem which was most enjoyable and well- organised. The Intercontinental made every effort to accommodate our room requests and we shall be back in 2014 . read more

    The distance to the beach is excellent. Very annoying is the distance from the Sharm El Sheikh International Airport. The transfer time amounts to about 3 hours. We had in the evening drive, Absolutely ghastly. The transfers on days was very good. The sinai mountains is worth seeing. It is not understand, why the german vacationers not in taba to land. I listened with holiday-makers spoken. All would this hotel visit again, but not from the Sharm El Sheikh International Airport. The british and french and so on. It is reserved in taba to land.

By far the worst gastronomic an alleged 5 star hotels, service staff partly put despite tips lazy and overstrained (management should get at other hotel chains like for instance Iberostar or bahia principe look elsewhere, you would learn something). Theme nights especially 'orientalisch' for a west european unacceptable. What you here than meat means (in particular the so-called filet Wellington) is dead and totally verwürzt. In the snack-bar there was lack of space as at the time of the former gdr. The food is cold, but are the beverages warm. The staff errs unmethodically around, the few tables were not ... cleared. Coffee for breakfast the earliest will from 7:45 a. m. serves, before there was self-service at the meager buffet and so on Rooms are worn, cable hanging out of the wall; wash and remedying damage nothing! read more

The hotel stands under german management and the chef is really approachable and has a wealth of expertise from. Staff is competent and extremely friendly. Rooms are beautiful and huge. Great tour opportunities locally (after israel and Jordan). ... For me it was a fantastic stay and i am guaranteed gladly again. read more

    Very tastefully decorated. Huge. I had never such a big and well furnished balcony in other holidays. Mini bar, very good and quiet air conditioning, coffee, tea and water daily fresh, as well as shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. Wi-fi in the room, costs 60 Dollar for a week. Wifi is in of the lobby and lobby bar but also free. I had pillows in all variations and in large number, the mattress of the large bed was perfect, i slept better than at home.

Everything was always in sufficient quantity also towards the end of the meal time available. The crowning was then still the inkludiertee dine around. Especially i have here the ' el fügo ' (mexican restaurant) and the 'blue lagoon' (bbq-restaurant) much.

    3 hours transfer of sharm-el-sheik. The management works on direct access to taba. I have the 2,5 hours transfer time however much as a free trip across along the east coast of the sinai peninsula. The hotel is located in an extremely well kept grounds together with other hotels (Sofitel, marriott, Hyatt Regency, Three Corners), a golf course, a diving and water sports centre and a shopping district. Two free shuttle links between all these objectives from early morning till night free. The proximity to israel and Jordan just invites to ganztagsausflügen there. Outside of taba height resorts is' dead '.

My wife and I visited the hotel for a week of winter sun. Our room was as requested, a high floor with sea view. Excellent size and well equipped. God quality linen changed daily. We stayed all inclusive and the buffet was plentiful and with a good variety. There was an excellent choice of fresh salads as starters and a variety of vegetables with main courses. A huge selection of cakes and sweets were well presented each day. Our fellow guests tended to be couples 50 plus. Mix was around 40% German, 40% UK and the rest Russian, French etc. read more

    There is a variety of restaurants, although I think all inclusive guests tended to dine in the main buffet for obvious reasons. With occupancy being so low the speciality outlets were struggling to appear busy. The main lobby bar lacked atmosphere and only seemed to work up to 11.00PM, again for obvious reasons, it did appear that time, when drinks were no longer all inclusive,and were pretty expensive, there was a general excodus to bed, almost like a curfew. I do think the hotel owners need to address this problem, clients are on holiday after all.

    The staff were, with one exception, the restaurant manager who I think would have preferred to have been in uniform, all friendy and could not do enough to help. English was the main language. Room Cleaning services were good. Ludmila on guest relations was extremely friendly and helpful, as were the front of house staff.

    Excellent range of swimming pools including a large heated outdoor. Good gymnasium and spa with a swimming pool. The staff here were friendly and helpful. Entertainment was provided by the 'Animation Team', they were good fun and enthusiastic at all times. Amazing what Osiris could turn her hand to, from volleyball on the beach to head turning bellydancing, what a girl!!

    My wife and I visited the hotel for a week of winter sun. Our room was as requested, a high floor with sea view. Excellent size and well equipped. God quality linen changed daily. We stayed all inclusive and the buffet was plentiful and with a good variety. There was an excellent choice of fresh salads as starters and a variety of vegetables with main courses. A huge selection of cakes and sweets were well presented each day. Our fellow guests tended to be couples 50 plus. Mix was around 40% German, 40% UK and the rest Russian, French etc.

    The hotel is one of four located in a purpose built development, each with direct beach access and linked by a paved walkway / jogging track around 2 kms from start to finish. It makes a pleasant pastime to walk the length dropping in at the three other hotels to compare. There is a small purpose built ' village' but this is a bit bit lacklustre, mainly due to lack of tourists at this time. There is a variety of excursions available but we felt that these were generally overpriced.
