The rooms are very spacious, the room service was without any complaints -always clean, fresh towels were almost every day in the room. Because the hotel already a few years old, were clear signs of usage on the floor, a torn off border at the patio door and other items not to be overlooked.
The guest structure in the hotel was international, british, cis, french swiss and many germans ( a tour operator with an appropriate presence in the television had prior to thoroughly the knowledge stirred) springing no difference, whether you at the beach next to russian, ukrainians, british ... or german and also in the evening did representatives of certain nations not so clear, that you noisy celebrations or just Wodka from 100 grams glasses beverage. It was right calm and pleasant. read more

Lovely hotel with great amenities, right on the beach but with a couple of pools. Stayed all inclusive (first time ever) and was really pleasantly surprised by the standard of food and variation of menu's offered. Lots of drink choices and even the local Egyptian wine offered on all inclusive was perfectly quaffable :) Room was a really good size with great views of the pools and the sea beyond. Mainly British and German guests at the time of year we stayed. read more

As pensioners, we have returned to the Intercontinental in search of a restful holiday in the sun in excellent surroundings . We rate both the accommodation and quality of food very highly indeed providing in both cases excellent value for money. The staff were without exception efficient, courteous and charming. We cannot comment on the hotel provision for children or the disabled but last year we went on a trip to Jerusalem which was most enjoyable and well- organised. The Intercontinental made every effort to accommodate our room requests and we shall be back in 2014 . read more

The hotel is huge - 480 room. Since it was very ample, there were many possibilities to retreat. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. The outside area seemed very well kept. The all-inclusive offer is very good. Good breakfast and dinner buffet. The guest structure is international. I find it very good, that the number of german increases. read more

For us it was a wonderful vacation and we will come back again very soon. Especially worth mentioning is the very well maintained gartennanlage with the pool area. It was almost like in paradise, there around only desert is.
The personal care by the hotel Chris was very pleasant and extremely competent. read more

By far the worst gastronomic an alleged 5 star hotels, service staff partly put despite tips lazy and overstrained (management should get at other hotel chains like for instance Iberostar or bahia principe look elsewhere, you would learn something). Theme nights especially 'orientalisch' for a west european unacceptable. What you here than meat means (in particular the so-called filet Wellington) is dead and totally verwürzt. In the snack-bar there was lack of space as at the time of the former gdr. The food is cold, but are the beverages warm.
The staff errs unmethodically around, the few tables were not ... cleared. Coffee for breakfast the earliest will from 7:45 a. m. serves, before there was self-service at the meager buffet and so on
Rooms are worn, cable hanging out of the wall; wash and remedying damage nothing! read more

Huge hotel with very attractive, very well maintained area. Very international, at the time of my stay there were german, british, french, Poland, russians, americans, belgians, asians and so on. And so on. One comes in the hotel also with german and with english at all. I had booked all inclusive with a dine-around-pass for 9 different restaurants, the food was fantastic. The hotel stands under german management and the chef is really approachable and has a wealth of expertise from. Staff is competent and extremely friendly. Rooms are beautiful and huge. Great tour opportunities locally (after israel and Jordan). ... For me it was a fantastic stay and i am guaranteed gladly again. read more

A very nice hotel with well-kept pool area and beautiful beach.
A nice large room with a view of the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful, minor problems were immediately rectified. The food is good and diverse.
The only thing which we didn't like is the long transfer, the ideal solution would be the flight to taba. read more

By infinitely covered with waste wüstengebirge we reached a bit shaken after a vierstündigen coach trip from sharm el sheikh finally the hotel complex in taba heights. The staff, the ambience and the flair of the hotel were very good. The facilities were very nice, clean and tidy. The same goes for the surrounding hotel facilities, the freely accessible. (for bathing, the peace and quiet want ideally) our targets were however historical destinations in the area. Over sonnenkkar tv booked, became of FTI unfortunately not optimally organized. By insufficient pre-information from a 12- stundentour a trip from almost 24 hours ... (a guest knew the travelling to israel not, 40 people had to spend hours in a solution wait. Sufficient information by the organizers would have prevented this)
In short: the hotel itself is very recommendable - definitely not in the last week, as the weather more vernal is, however only, if trace taba is possible and excursions not the main objective of the vacation are. Apart from that have fun the hardsimmered, which mountains of garbage bags in a grey jagged rock landscape with few slumähnlichen nomadenhütten read more

My wife and I visited the hotel for a week of winter sun. Our room was as requested, a high floor with sea view. Excellent size and well equipped. God quality linen changed daily.
We stayed all inclusive and the buffet was plentiful and with a good variety. There was an excellent choice of fresh salads as starters and a variety of vegetables with main courses. A huge selection of cakes and sweets were well presented each day.
Our fellow guests tended to be couples 50 plus. Mix was around 40% German, 40% UK and the rest Russian, French etc. read more

As a golf hotel, (direct access to the golf course), but the ic taba heights is a ' normal ' all inclusive hotel for swimmers.
Great friendly waiters. Somewhat too large for my taste but this is just a personal feeling.
German management, which for me as a german in terms of communication, a clear advantage was.
If it finally flights to taba airport (40 kilometer) and not more as sharm-el-sheikh (250 kilometer), gives, it is for me and all golfbegeisterten guests a real tip.
Improvements are clearly areas 'tables and chairs' (is already in planning) and the ' wireless' ... necessary.
Wi-fi work 'free wireless internet' as well as not at all. The paying wi-fi i was' saved ' (in circa 80 Euro the week)
Tip: in uptown i in phoneshop a sim card includes 1 gigabyte data volume bought. (4 Euro) the stable, faster, and above all everywhere working. read more

Excellent choice of Hotel at Taba

The Intercontinental is a very good choice of hotel at Taba. Taba is a quiet beachside resort with a golfcourse and small shopping areas but one which should provide for all your needs should you need to leave the hotel. The views across thte Gulf of Aqaba to the mountains of Saudi Arabia and Jordan day and night are beautiful and the beach is very good. Snorkelling is limited as waters are very shallow a metre or so but visibilty is good and would recommend a light shoe to avoid cuts and bumps. The hotel has three pools (one heated) ... and the main hotel building is an excellent design with connections to other parts used in busy times, gardens are well maintained and well designed. staff in the main are very good, friendly and helpful although a few exceptions need 'smiling' lessons. If you need assistance Ludmilla and Michaela are on hand in the reception area two very helpful young ladies. Food is good and there is a variety of choice on each day which should mean you should be able to eat differently from the weekly menus as they re-occur. Animation team provide exercise games and entertainment although the hotel
could do with investing in some new exercise mats. We will definitely be returning in 2014. read more

A really good run luxury hotel in a great beach location. Really big area and in the whole of the resorts in a great area. You could say, right on the golf course, because the is the complex built and was located directly at the great sandy beach. Great cleanliness throughout the hotel and a really good all inclusive, with the arround an absolute recommendation. International guest structure with a rising number of german guests. Structure from infant to the older guests represented. read more

fantastic hotel, very relaxing. Very good value for money. The hotel has a backdrop of the Sinai Mountains and is straight onto the beach. Staff are very friendly. Can't fault the hotel and it is in a beautiful location. If you are looking for lively nightlife, this is not for you, but if you want to recharge your batteries, come on down. read more

Altogether it was for me a very nice relaxing vacation. There is a few things the however really is room for improvement. The towels for the pool have their best times behind itself. I have of 6 days at 5 days always a towels with holes
Restaurant see the chairs not appetizing. But the most annoyed me, the staff in the restaurant for breakfast the guests with coffee not service. One had either wave or even the coffee get, another possibility there was not. That was every day so. At lunch you had to for my taste much too long ... on the drinks service wait, although not much going on was.
The staff at the reception was really very friendly and helpful.
I have evenings always the possibility used in other restaurants to eat. Everybody was well, the thai was my personal favorite.
The transfer is clearly too long. If the flights to taba go, is the a recommendable hotel. read more

We were for one week for relaxation since, knew the hotel not before. The hotel complex and the room
Our expectations fully fulfilled, also the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, everyone speaks english. On the way there from the airport to the hotel one must still 3 hours calculate. In the resort are 5 hotels merged, the shuttle can be driven. You can go shopping, if you have high expectations, will be rather disappointed. We have 2 excursions, it was not envisaged, both were well organized (1 time Petra in Jordan, 1 time Jerusalem). We than worth ... it to us, but that must everyone know, the journey should take in each case about 5 hours read more

Who for a one time vacation in Egypt decides in taba heights just perfect. The whole resort boasts beautiful architecture and is extremely well maintained. As german tour operators in taba land, you should make use of the shuttle, an impression of the area to get. The interconti has a very dedicated german management. It in many details positively noticeable. The audience is international and mainly from western europe. The staff are competent, friendly and very personal service. Here everyone was a special guest. The beautiful water must one over stones and there are beach shoes required. However, if you ... about 15 minutes to go, there is a jetty and here you can on reef good for snorkeling. read more

We could not fault the staff they made us feel very relaxed and we found the hotel in a very high standard, as most people visiting Egypt have tummy upsets we never experiences any such trouble and we do feel this is down to the cleaning of the hotel, special the public arises we found the public toilets are always being cleaned, we were very impressed with the outside toilets by the pools that when always being cleaned, that when you know you’re in a well maintained hotel. The New Year’s Eve party it has to be the best with ... attended the origination from the entertainment to ballroom look wonderful and special touches of our good bags, but the food was just amazing it was almost too good to eat the chef and his team really made the night a spectacular, it was a Aladdin’s cave of fine fooand it was nice that the tour representatives that book the trips are visible around the hotel and helpful but nice that they not pasturing you every five minutes to go on the trips, we taken advantage of the spa and found the staff every proficiencies, also we had a morning sailing on hobby cat and the staff at the diving canter are very confident in the ability of informing us the does and don’ts on the water. The only one criticism we only had one week and could of happly had two weeks, when we returne its going to be two weeks. read more
