Great historic hotel with appropriate facilities. Extremely well-kept whole area. Very nicely appointed and spacious rooms. Our enthusiasm for this hotel after this 3. stay unbroken. Unfortunately, the benefits of the restaurant related to the half board to the previous years of some returned. The pool bar was unfortunately already 'out of order'.
The staff in the restaurant and at the front desk exceedingly friendly, competent and ready to help. read more

Great and very well-kept hotel area which in total we did last year. The size of the room and the bath, as well as the facilities were extremely. With musical frame you could use the room easily as a ballroom for many people. The daily laundry service are, as well as the great quality of the hand towels and beach towels. The half board contained in the four course menu was varied and delicious overall. Due to the quiet location is the transaction included half board recommended. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The new management in terms of ... decoration a bit of catching up on the previous year. The references were taken up by the new Director but very positive. On my next stay in the am year 2012 curious! read more

The former abbey was ideal and very stylish with antique furniture equipped. Every small detail is done, an optimal design.
Absolute peace and quiet you will find in the former monastery garden or in the large landscaped garden in the pool and pool bar.
The service, as well as the quality of the food and drinks in the restaurant and in the dining were very good to excellent values. The breakfast is very wide and for Italian standards and quntitativ 'bombastic'.
The staff at the front desk is multi-lingual, very helpful and extremely friendly.
Due to the location of the ... resorts is recommendable to book half board.
At the description of the promoter or place Castel Lucio sure in GPS or map drive to enter! read more

The hotel is located about 10 kilometer of Arezzo, and is located in the district of Castel Lucio. It is a large park and is surrounded by an idyllic and quiet location on a hill. The house is beautifully and tastefully renovated and equipped. Our room was a junior suite was huge, very well maintained and equipped. The pool is large, the huge lawn and there are more than enough space for all guests. In the house you really feel comfortable and secure. The restaurant is good, the breakfast was very good for Italian standards. The service was always accommodating ... and very good. I can recommend this hotel unlimited. read more

An historic abbey, fantastically located, large pool with modern seat and couch possibilities, nice pool bar.
The rooms were very beautifully furnished, stylish rooms, very good food and generous breakfast. Price/performance ratio was very good, the Tchibo-special offer for half the price. Wellness area not seen, poor offered. All in all a stylish vacation in stylish surroundings. read more

After one week stay unfortunately a sobering conclusion. We wanted to relax and use building and wedding this hotel as a base for day trips. The main building made a good, clean impression. Matching, stylish decor and friendly staff were also available, but the whole ambience around not completely fit. The complex itself made us a less well-kept, the tennis court, a football field rather a neglected impression.
Furthermore, the fact that during our stay a large wedding party was forging rides should be held, on the day of our departure throughout the property.
The last three days were pavilions ... built and seating possibilities around the pool is positioned. The competence of the week again and again throughout the property added. There is a lot of cable installations every wayside along. The Friday there was a major for the whole property, but also pool and tennis court.
During the last breakfast made an impression on us the staff, glad to be, that we had finally way, this area has to be properly prepared.
The breakfast buffet was adequate-would have four stars but can be a bit varied.
The evening dinner was disappointing for us adults are unfortunately, our daughter hardly ate anything. The offer was so varied, that it six times grilled meat with potatoes as main course was. The first few days there were mostly Italian guests in the house (long weekend due to national holiday) and the mood was a bit stiff. The guests said hardly the time-perhaps you listened but the variety loose Wellness music. Diversified as the hotel's own dog, bite einjagte my daughter duly fear, as it after a chase through the dining room-provided, an employee in the hand.
Speaking of Wellness: this is an area that we can only briefly take in all appearances. A surprise downpour of, we arrived a little wetted into the foyer. I just cannot understand the bad, my two companions did not inside. Was however, they friendly asked to leave.
Enjoyable was, in the second half of the week in the main building different, see values CD's has been lodged. The atmosphere was casual-there were mainly foreign guests (?) here. Only the pool table was missing a ball, where a family celebration starts were the two missing.
Overall, we were unfortunately not the target audience of this famous property. I would rather a target audience, the looking for peace and relaxation, less in sports, but with a cup of cappuccino or a bottle of wine (lots of choice!) you are looking for a well-maintained conversation. read more
