Hotel Iberotel Makadi Saraya Resort^{(4.5 stars)}

The rooms have a reasonable size. Always everything very clean and even if you not on the first day tip, one has nice figures designed out of towels and flowers ornate! The furnishing is enough. You at the end anyway not much there. That the mini bar not to the all-inclusive is, i think rather strange. One must they are not with all the nonsense fill up. But a Cola, a water and a beer or sunday.. The was enough. If you want more, this may then yes also pay. The result is, that the guests itself at the bars below quantities of drinks with the rooms and water bottles on supply bunkers.

The breakfast al nakhil was really great. Lunch in the restaurants didn't eat there, but we have to say, that the lunch the warmed rest of the night before is. We have lunch at the beach eaten. The snacks were okay, whereas the whole genuinly poor found. There was always a soup, a dish, small pizza (salami or margherita) or sandwiches, as well as a small salad with a few siftings sheep cheeses. Evening we were because of the nice services always in the al nakhil (sun flower was not so our case, the courts but are always the same!). I found the rather disappointing. The selection is first huge. Salads, desserts, meat, pasta, fish and small häppchen, few side dishes and outside live cooking depending on the theme evening. With the decoration every evening very much trouble, even the waiters had appropriate 'panel' at. My friend has quite terrible times meat was missing, because what was there was not so the hit was and little choice. I liked the bread clear cream was missing. Especially in the arab countries you can get to the bread always the most delicious creams. Only once the ' international evening. If one evening at least the cream cheese from the breakfast somewhere put could, to get the bread not dry food, this would be even. And sheep cheese? Complete non-existent. There was only for lunch the few crumbs in the salad. A great shame. Appetizers are recycled leftovers from the breakfast ( egg now in appetizers, sliced croissants with cream cheese, meat from the previous evening only small and with salad arranged). In principle, i think it is good, that one still to gebrauchende food also still uses and not wegschmeisst. But when the full savoury-corner from leftovers and are partially food such as eggs or milk products, then the unfortunately also health consequences... Of course that is what you can avoid, if you also in the theme restaurants by previous reservation or nachbuchung eats. But so it was with all inclusive not planned. The theme restaurants we were told, were really great and delicious. Otherwise as always everything was clean! The dessert, the me in ' countries' often way too sweet is, but a lot more than made up for it. So that i could me to death eat.

The service is can't be beat. Whether the roomboy (clean with us ), the waiter in the hotel ( much praise goes to sheba!) Or at the beach, at the check-in... Completely no matter. All were nice and race really the heels off, to a the vacation unforgettable. With english you at all, but some spoke more or less german. ' Complaints ' ( the guest care asks actively for) but will be charged sorted out.

The entertainment we didn't use it. But i can say, that one the entertainers quite noticed, this but not pushy are. So very pleasant! Mondays there was always a olympics in different disciplines against the other hotels the hotel. The already made fun and you at the end also very proud, if you in the evening at the presentation ceremony in siegerhotel is housed ( the feeling a bit like the former school, if one were against other schools played)!

Everything very clean, room size ok, the guest structure was mixed (german, russian, english, scandinavians...) And all nations there were such and such...

It is a nice little walk to the beach, but the power in the garden nothing at all. To the airport it was about 30 minutes drive. A few souvenir shops there are directly at the area, but if you really want to go shopping, then the on the complex itself was nothing. In the evening you can within the complex in a disco or until about midnight in the bars are... But apart from that it is rather a relaxation-as a party holiday.

We had a suite, big enough in very good condition and very clean. Also the bathroom is in an immaculate state. There are four german tv channels, with good reception.

There are two main restaurant. Unfortunately was the sunflower to our visit was closed. But el nakil is also very good. It is everywhere very clean. The food is good, varied and the small sweet treats are adorable ☺ In the tamarina bar you sit very comfortable either inside or on the terrace, there already a few hour bear.

The service... The is in this hotel amazing. Always friendly, always smiling, no matter what is. Complaints are 'immediately' done, no matter wether the hotel manager itself or the service. The waiter in the hotel are super. I would here also right in Mohammed and wet say thank you for your great service. It was nice and you know. Yasser our roomboy has great job, thank you very much. And he could speak very good german. In general you could get by with english, but many can now also very good german.

By the pool, as well as at the beach are always enough sunbeds to find. The entertainers are always friendly, questions, if one to something wanted to participate, accept but also, if you doesn't want to. They are very motivated and make a good job. Regards to Joe and Shady.

The makady saraya is a very nice, not quite as large plant, the with very much soul maintained. It is very clean in the whole complex, as well as in the room, also a very pleasant size, as well as in the restaurants and bars. The toilets by the pool, are 'very' clean. There are all sorts of guests there, scandinavians, russians, british, german, but generally all very pleasant.

To the beach must you like a couple of minutes walk (10 minutes) but since one through the parks of the other hotels is, it is a very nice walk. There are some shops, the salesman speak also several times, the you look will come, but if you tell them a ' freundliches'nein thanks' to them, everything is good. To Hurghada there is also a shuttle bus from the hotel, we did this year not used. Also the à la carte restaurant we didn't need it, as we the food in the all inclusive restaurant was enough.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment, 2 adults 4 kids, no problem! :) 100m2 with a large shower and bathroom, living room and a small kitchen. If we didn't travel with a baby we wouldn't have used the kitchen for anything but morning coffee. The room was always clean with a beautiful creation on the bed each day! Thank you again Yasser! In the room we had phone, tv, waterboiler, microwave, refrigerator, cookingplates, very much space to sit! Free coffee and tea. Air condition in each bedroom and livingroom, minisafe and everything else we needed. If we needed anything we could just call the reception or ask Yasser and they fixed it! :)

There were 2 buffet restaurants, we went to al Nakhil, the kids liked the waiters there! The food was very good, we always found something we liked, and our kids are quite picky! The food were quite varied, it was always clean, and the waiters were terrific. I liked the egyptian days with local food! We missed pork, but it wasn't a problem, the chefs made very good dinners and lunch every day! :) The drinks, beers and wine at the bars were excellent! The local beer is to recommend! :)

Everything was perfect, our housekeeper Yasser made our stay very easy! We travelled with 4 children and they make a mess sometimes, but he smiled and did his job and was so kind to us. A wonderful asset to the hotel! Laundry service was very good, special price for all inclusive guests! Everyone at the hotel speaks english, and probably german and russian too. We needed doctor for our 15 months baby, he came after 15 minutes at 5.30 in the morning. He came back later to check up and was so good. The waiters at Cabaret pool bar, with Hossam! Very nice, helpful and serviceminded! Made mocktails for the kids and did a great job. Al Nakhil restaurant, Shiba and Ahmed became our favourites, had fun with the kids inbetween serving all their tables, the kids cried when we left al Nakhil the last day, but we see you again next year! :) Shady Lady and the animation team! You all rocked the place, what a energy you guys have, from morning to late night! Kids club, aquagym, waterpolo, olympics, kids disco, evening shows....the list goes on forever. Our stay at the hotel wouldn't have been the same without you! And we especially wnt to give a big thank you to SHIKO! His patience with our little gangsters was neverending! He played, had fun and did his job in an excellent way! We miss you man! :) Looking forward to see you next year! Hope the hotel see what a great asset you are and keep you and the rest of the team at the hotel! We didn't have a dull moment the entire stay! :)

Great hotel for families! Nice, clean, good food, everything you want for a holiday!

Very nice pools, gardens and the beach is nice! Far from Hurghada but we didn't miss it at all. The hotelcrew and animation team made the days fly by!

Our room was very spacious, with a tv, balcony, safe, hair-dryer and everything else that standard in the 4 star hotel it is. Cleaning was usually clean, though you light trinkgeldbedingte fluctuations could make. A bit more storage space would have been nice, for two persons but it was just enough.

In the all-inclusive were regular the two buffet-style restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and snacks at the pool and the beach. Especially enjoyable i found it, that drinks whole day long free and you are not a Euro for food had to spend. Only imported alcohol could have been a little cost, since it was for all local alternatives, was the not a problem. The food in our experience unfortunately not as much as the rest of the holiday. In the weekly there were theme evenings. The selection was sufficient, varied but often only the name after. Dishes, the on the menu advertised were, there was simply not. At the grill the food not freshly prepared, but only a chef on the plate (except for breakfast, there were omelets and fried eggs for offer). I would have liked a little more food typical of the country -at least a 'egyptian corner'. It appears that since but in recent times, several guests complained, we were told, that the card mitte march overhauled. Since us the nothing more helped, we have exceptionally in the à-la-carte restaurants must, all were very good! Thank you again for this ☺

The staff at the hotel bowled us over! Everybody was very friendly, without ever seeming fake (as i had at the start somewhat prejudices, that only against previous tip works, which absolutely not confirmed). Most of them spoke very good german or english, so that there were hardly problems with the hotel was. Especially highlighted were the waiters in the buffet al nakhil! Overall we were at least once a day to, if everything is okay, the team the front desk or from the german-speaking customer service.

At the beach and at the pool there was in the morning and in the afternoon sport the animation team (Boccia, Volleyball, darts, aerobics and so on.) , when everyone could join in. Partly it was a bit too much, the is however probably a matter of taste. For children was in the ' kids club ' every day something else offered, so that us as couple without children hardly lackluster small pests noticed ☺ Especially great was also the service in the beach bar, where you can get drinks and snacks delivered get! That is, as far as we noticed, a speciality in the saray, the one not times the more expensive Makadi Beach has. Better a beach holiday but not have to be!

The saraya resort is located in the 'Madinat Makadi', a resort with several hotels of similar type and size. The overall condition of the building and grounds is very good, in southern european countries with similar climate situations i have as a well-maintained hotel rarely seen. Guests were german mainly russians and scandinavians, lots of families with small children (it wasn't holiday time) and couples of all ages.

The hotel in 2. number to the beach, that means depending on the location of the room have to around 5 to 10 minutes footpath be completed. On the way is the attached Souk Makadi with various shops, as well as the four a la carte restaurants. For a beach vacation was the offer to us absolutely sufficient (bathing and snorkeling accessories, postcards, souvenirs, jewelry, spices, an international bookstore, hairdresser, etc.). Excursions you could with the tour operator to make (Hurghada, safaga, Luxor, Cairo, camel rides, quad biking in the desert and so on.) , at the beach were diving and snorkelling excursions of all kinds. On own fist getting offers in Egypt for the average holiday-makers in such a way or so nothing special at (security, poor infrastructure and so on.) , and in Makadi you could as far as i saw it also hardly possibilities.
