In reception everything ok - but when we could visit the rooms beforehand we found out, that the window not close and the bathroom door at the soil rather slept. After notification at the front desk came immediately 2 women, where I one of them to tell, that the window for the ventilation in the room not sachets (it is in every room so!) That could happen I do still, but as a guest for stupid and me into the heart of the face to lies, as with me the oven from! After I told had, that no rooms more ... freely and a ceiling to the seal of the window brought, was after 10 minutes at once but a room free! There was only the vent in the bath of full mold and the kettle rusty!
The statement with the ventilation would only be a joke of it-of course! read more

Apart from the fact, that we very small ( however therefor very quiet) rooms had ( that we a child it had seemed when booking not delivered to have been, you should before the check in took an e-mail to the hotel chic), we cannot report anything negative. The hotel is very clean, all are really friendly ( zumeinst Eastern European employee) and just for one family with small child highly recommendable, because restaurant and pub attached to. The breakfast and food in the restaurant were good: toast and coffee full, jams, cheese/ sausage, yoghurt, juice. Evenings in the pub ... a smaller map and in the restaurant then the 'larger' dishes. Everything very tasty and we always welcome and felt at ease. The subway is easy to reach and you need 30 to 40 minutes to to the center. Everything was manageable. A very large supermarket is in 10 to 15 minutes on foot.
In short: for a city trip - straight with a child - very recommendable. read more

It was already so much about this hotel written, therefore simply only short: everything good is true, what you about the Fox & Goose read here. But I would then great important references, for a London vacation this hotel actually already too far outside is! Subway in 10 to 12 minutes footpath, but for instance to Livperpool street needs one stop already inclusive footpath the tube 50 minutes! I would therefore a bit more money and this really long way to save on and a room in the immediate vicinity of the city. And the area of the Fox & ... Goose is really not the best, apart from the hotel's own Fullers (bar& restaurant) bittes it really nothing! read more

Only disadvantage: there was no family room book and we had to for our kids an extra room book, the short break of course very expensive made. Apart from that there were however nothing to complain about.
The peaceful location ( up to a few Aircraft, by Heathrow over hotel flew, but not too deep flew) and the garden, as well as the adjoining Fox & the goose restaurant we loved.
The food ( breakfast, as well as dinner) does everything good.
The employees were friendly and willing to help, the hotel clean. In about 20 minutes with the subway ... the Victoria station in the city. Bus station and subway station are nearby the hotel. Large parking for cars available. read more

The Fox & goose is a smaller hotel in good well maintained condition and not to many rooms, but very spacious are.
Though the hotel lies on the road, however the rooms are in the back part of the building convenient and therefore didn't bother the traffic noise not at all.
The complex is tidy and clean.
The colleagues at the front desk are very friendly and willing to help. read more

The hotel looked exactly like it, as most pictures show. The furnishing was a little old fashioned, fits in my opinion but also to England. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Towels were changed every day. There was no German tv-channels but since one anyway hardly is in the hotel, it was in order. Hundred meters away from the hotel is a Mc DONALD, which is open every day around the clock and a gas station is 200 meters away, so you have to each daily and nighttime snacks there. The metro station is five minutes ... walk away and after about ten -15 V minutes drive you are right on the Oxford station. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helped us, as for example Madame Tussaud and have easy access to the Internet. There is a computer in the reception area available to all ready. Furthermore, you can connect to the free and unlimited Wi-Fi. The password is changed every week and will give you the information. In general we were very satisfied with the hotel. read more

The hotel is actually very good for a city trip, about ten minutes footpath to the underground (tube). Then take the line 20 minutes to central in the city center. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast is unfortunately very poor, you should order a 'good breakfast' for about ten, 00 Euro. Dinner for around ten -15 euros. read more

I am frequently in London in avoidable better hotels with more stars have been clear, but it was so satisfied with any other hotel. The rooms are not overly large, but more than adequate for a city break. New and very modern decor. Everything was very harmonious. The bathroom was also very good. Only the entrance into the tub was very high and could be difficult. The breakfast is for a London hotel, a good assortment of food and drinks. The hotel is not a problem. The metro is only 200m away. The drive into the city, you can plan ... your day perferctly. After a day sightseeing 20 minutes drive the back no problem. My conclusion: my next stay in the fox to goose are sure! read more

The hotel is located in hanger Lane, West V. London, about 20 minutes by the underground from London-city centre. From the underground to the hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk. The underground runs about every two minutes. A large supermarket is located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel (distance about ten going minutes). The pub/restaurant has a very nice beer garden in the country with about 40-50 cosy sitting areas for Al Fresco dining in various corners very well-kept flowers. Hotel, staff, service, food and drink was yummy! Each room features a hair dryer, flat screen tv (remote) on ... the wall, Internet (if you want) and the bathroom is very modern furnished. Breakfast was very tasty! Room and bathroom were cleaned every day and towels were changed every day. We book this hotel immediately again, if we to London fly. read more

the room was OK, mostly clean, the beds comfortable, the furniture reasonable. Not available was a small fridge, but a kettle and tea or coffee. The bathroom was large, clean, handicapped accessible and well-equipped with soap and shampoo stocked. The room was despite immediate located on a massive Roundabout quiet. The next suburban train was in 5 to 10 minutes footpath to reach. The atmosphere outside was of living and business high-rises and the roundabout shaped, but not run down, so that you evenings without goose bumps can walk back. Next to the hotel is a solid effective Pub, in ... which you can have your breakfast. We have however never tried. read more

We have the hotel for a city trip booked.
The hotel and the rooms are general very clean and decorated in a friendly style. In the hotel is a small beer garden and a pub, in which one also à-la-carte food. We liked that a lot.
The location is mediocre. It is a underground station in 5a 10-minute walk to reach, but the drive to the center lasts 20 minutes. Not all the trains runs this station on:so beware when entering in the center direction hotel!
All together the hotel is recommendable, if a central location not the most ... important is read more

The Fox & goose hotel is for a city break absolutely recommendable, even if it is a little out of the way. The tube (circle line) is just over five minutes to reach., 25 minutes drive in Westminster. However, it is difficult, the hotel from the subway coming to find. Two small signs would be enough. read more

We stayed for a long weekend at the Fox and goose in London and have made a city break.
The hotel captivates particularly by its brilliant value for money. But the cleanliness and the furnishings of the room were very good.
The friendliness of the staff depends heavily on duty. just an employee the teeth while not got, was another very tried when looking for a luggage locker in the city to help.
The location of the hotel is to say, that you about five minutes up to the station 'hanger Lane' walk, from there 15 minutes walk from the ... very city. So there were no problems at all, especially if you consider that the hotels in the centre so cost. Only danger is, the hotel with the journey only once to find, since the orientation at the exit of the train station but difficult. So definitely take a plan!
I would not hesitate to recommend the fox and goose! read more
