Great kitchen, flaws in the entertainment of the hotel

The 1987 style and 2008 renovated hotel features 207 rooms on 4 floors. The age has already here and there its traces left. So after rainfall the staircase for two days with towels on the stages dried, as the rain through the leaky window insisted was. Unfortunately, no attention, that the guests, the nice view from the restaurant, can enjoy. The windows are certainly for months not been cleaned. Everywhere in the house are lamps, or broken light bulbs, the however not be replaced. A broken chair in the card rooms was also despite note to the staff, after a ... week still broken there. During our stay came the guests almost exclusively from Germany. Only 5 guests came from great britain and Spain. The average age of the guests was between 1 and 99 years, with the focus on 50 +. read more

    Our room with a balcony the quiet garden pool area was big enough, standard under furnished and in altersgemäßem condition. It had a mini bar.     There is 1 restaurant, but for the number of rooms too small side, so that you could sometimes had to wait for a free table. 2. negative is the hygiene in the restaurant. Regularly we found not good superbly clean plates with leftovers on the stacking plates. Once a dirty knife set and as we a with meal remainders dirty salt on the table complained, it was, the next days also not again postponed. The positive thing the dining is selection and the quality of the dishes. The offer is enormous, the quality is excellent and very varied. It was thankfully nationaltypically cooked. Great was the mallorkinische buffet with specialities the island. If the above mentioned hygiene problems one just couldn't close were not, would the restaurant smooth 6 suns.

    The always friendly staff was very open minded and with good german skills. When we arrived we were with a sip of red wine and cheese welcome. Complaints were processed immediately and to our satisfaction.

    Because it for our stay still too cold, we have the grounds didn't use it. The spa we however used on a daily basis. It is small but varied. Point of minus is the very subdued light, the read on the beach chairs would not accept. In the brochure brightly-lit ceiling spotlights were either broken, or could not be turned on. The small water landscape is kissed by the sun and invites to relax. As well as the from 15 o'clock angeschaltete sauna and the roman warm air bathroom. The turkish steam bath was due to a defect during our stay unfortunately not usable. The bar is also venue for music and games evenings. Especially for music events, there is no comfortable place, with a drinks even talk to.

    The hotel is located in a quiet area the last house on the edge from Cala Ratjada, approximately 200 meters from the beach the Cala Agulla. Size of the hotel was visible, approximately 300 rooms. A bit dated, but still ok. Cleanliness also okay. The bathroom could the mountings be renewed once, did not look more beautiful.     We had a double room, that is relatively small, but it was ok for us, because we were underway a lot. The furniture was already a bit worn, but ok. Balcony was for two people enough. We had with a view of the sea and looked out onto the adjacent large pine forest and the beach with sea, very nice. We were but sometimes already in the morning at 5:00 o'clock from the garbage trucks or similar woke us up. We had however also always the balcony door open during the night. Air conditioning warm/cold worked without a problem, but we didn't need that. Minibar was the whole time open even if you nothing drink. Size of the bathroom was adequate, i would simply like to a separate shower. So you had to in the bathtub showers, because the curtain a bit cramped was. No flat screen tv but the main german programs were available.

    There was a dining room, the food was quite crowded. With sunshine were for breakfast on the patio too tables set. Quality of the food good i thought. Also the selection was good and every day different. Bowls and plates were already replaced with new ones, before they were empty, even towards the end of the meal time. For breakfast i have freshly squeezed orange juice missed, gave it only once, but at 3,50 Euro the glass. Otherwise you could get one from the automat take, but a bit artificial taste.

    The staff's hospitality was very good. Most could speak german perfectly. The room cleaning was good for me nothing to complain about. We gave the maid will be charged on the first day a few Euro tip. I saw also dogs in the hotel, bark i heard no, and read until 5 kilogram weight without an extra charge may be taken. Also at the beach went often people with dogs walks.

    The pool is nothing special large, so good for swimming not convenient. The water was still too cold. We were often at the beach, therefore i can about the pool area not say much. One is practically hauswänden encircled, i personally thought it was not so nice. In the spa i was only once, but it was very pleasant and relaxing.

    Distance to the really beautiful beach approximately 200 meters. The transfer to the airport took about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on how lots of guests before be deducted. Beginning march is in Cala Ratjada all pretty dead. Most hotels, bars, restaurants and shops were still closed. This is usually around easter only loosely. We were a day to Palma. Footwear, bags and jewelry stores at the current band. The public transport links is around this time also nothing special. But you can go anywhere inexpensive rent a car, also right at the hotel.

The hotel has medium size and is very clean and neat. The pool area is really nice arranged but a bit small side. However, since a beautiful beach 5 minutes on foot distance is, that would be for me not a problem. The rooms are also rather small and partly. Older. We saw, that the room with a view of the pool newly renovated are. We had room with a view of the sea, what on the first glance was a delight, but afterwards but some disadvantages patterns. The ocean view rooms are to the street and you can see ... the beautiful cala agyulla but also the not straight beautiful roofs of the bars on the road. I could also imagine, that it in the summer, if all sit outside, very noisy. Also the balconies on this page at any time sun from (at least in march). The average age of the guests in the spring should rather in the upper level are. read more

    Our room with a view of the sea on the 2. floor was a bit small and unfortunately not renovated yet. The bathroom was straight still sufficiently. There was also a mini bar. The rooms were very well cleaned there were always a few candy or flowers for us left. If you every day on the way we, is the room but really ok.

    There's a restaurant and a bar with stage and entertainment. Also there there was nothing to complain about. Clean, friendly and varied. There was a very varied buffet with everything you could wish for. Once a week there were dishes typical of the country and also otherwise we were greeted with a theme buffet spoiled. The prices a drink as everywhere in Spain in the upper area.

    Over the service i can only say 'awesome '. I've in any hotel the world such friendliness experienced. A very much praise goes to the ladies and gentlemen in the dining room. Quickly the tables cleared and it is none (also not in the large rushes) stressed. And at the front desk also every guest the feeling given, that he was welcome. When i um a 2. pillows asked, i was extra again called, in order to ensure, that it was taken care of. We had no complaints...!

    The hotel is located quite far from the main city and around the northern side of the peninsula cala rajada. However there were good driving possibilities into town and the harbor. In march were hardly restaurants nearby open. This is however also with the half-board not necessary, since the food in the hotel is excellent. The distance to the airport is a problem. We have 2 hours at the airport waited, until our bus after cala rajada missed. And then one is again almost 2 hours on the way. The wait at the airport is however a problem our travel agency, in which we do not book any more.

A good 4 stars hotel in an enchanting setting on the small beach of agulla. In february naturally Very quiet. A rental car saves the annoying transfer and mobility. The staff is Very friendly and helpful, speaks very good until enough good german. The managerehepaar Is unobtrusive present. The buffet is extremely rich and versatile with a tendency To spanish/mallorcan dishes or preparations. For breakfast we had occasionally Our coffee is desired. In our room we have a 2. armchair missed, to the nice view to enjoy. read more

February is a good time for the beautiful madelblütten on Mallorca to experience. Also for walks or fahradtouren ideal. The vacation in this hotel is very recommendable. We liked it very good in this hotel like, everything was perfect. Only the february than hotel was pretty good for Mallorca not recommended, because it is still very lots of shops, restaurants and bars to have. Everything is locked and leave. From easter wakes up Mallorca from the in winter sleep. read more

So far good hotel. You will feel everywhere the friendliness, the will and the drive of the new director. But: there is a lack of cleanliness! The dishes were not really clean ; in the bathroom there are approaches of grey mold and after the reopening one should think, that the windows (especially in the dining room) cleaned should be. In this state not recommendable- or especially young, the lack of cleanliness generous overlooked. read more

Stayed here an excellent vacation spend. The friendliness of the entire staff is hard to beat. Very varied food, always enough, tasty and beautifully presented. Here you feel in good hands, especially through the personal contact with the directorate (dinner). The spa is optimal and sophisticated. The area is with sunshine certainly stay twice as nice. Mallorca beginning february 2013 meant for us next to sun also storm, waves, and also times rainstorms and even snow in the mountains. Obviously a cozy hotel with spa area and different saunas, and a pool with 28° warm water a real treat. At the reception we were in Our at home! Welcomes. This statement as a red thread through the whole time our stay. Everywhere there was a very friendly and dedicated atmosphere, and you will feel as a guest, that all staff/ inside their work pleasure. All are doing their best, so that the guest feel at home. ... And that at a price, the-at least at this time-as moderate as described. The food is at any time top, and the beverage prices are ok. In short: we will be back! read more

    The single room was from the size and in terms of the facilities ok. However, if you in the summer over the tennis court are... Lots of fun! - Bathroom was big and clean and it is well water from the shower. To complain about is, that the rooms super thin and all (stayed with other vacationers consultation held), so you can hear everything, even if the neighbor in the toilet tinkles! -

    I had several times what food (amongst others pieces of plastikabfällen ) with a 'sorry' and 'we can not control of everything' it was dismissed. I also think personally it considerable if the staff in the restaurant also clothes wear the suit and alltagstauglich are. I had always the feeling the races in my pjs rum! From a 4 star hotel expect ichaußerdem something alternation. Always the same sausage for breakfast and the same cheese, the i also in a three stars hotel. I can't understand why a spanish or majorcan evening edam and gouda is on the table. - also the heat of the food could be better. Every day the same knoblauchsoße only with other meat is boring permanently on the grill. For Schwaben the already for years here come and gewohnheitstiere are it may be great, but who culinary want more is equipped with a Riu hotel is better advised. For three days it was ok. Taste is the food alright if no plastic is included.

    The spa is perfect if you are traveling from the ants in the roman bath in the sink don't (and the in february - wonder, whether from the last summer still there!?) - sauna and fitness room are well, also the massages are great and the staff friendly.

We went as a couple the first mail Mallorca and left us of the good criticism of the hotel lead and weren't dissapointed. Here is very hard, the wishes of the holiday-maker and its stay, make it as pleasant as possible, it is now the front desk amongst others spaces of the hotel. Emphasized should be also the gastronomy of the hotel. We enjoyed also, that every guest in the entrance area for dinner by the director/director is addressed here you can clarify, if there is something to criticize there. We had a renovated room and i think, that the ... criticism from some reviews about the room also be turned off. As you from the hotel both go swimming or hiking is, we will not be the last may been in this hotel his. read more
