The transfer we booked with the hotel (airport to hotel) is too expensive, the double amonut as a normal taxi. The rooms have to be renovated URGENTLY,light inop, no safe in all the hotel, big holes in the wall & ceiling, tiles in the bathroom are missing, mould in the shower and water in the shower is not working always to hot, we never had toilet paper, whirpool is dirty and the whole room untended.AWFUL this is not healthy! How they are able to sell their rooms as Suites, they are a diseaster!? First morning we went to ... breakfast the waitress(an old women) told us in portugese:" sorry today nobody went to the supermarket, so today I have only coffee, bread & butter for you"! Come on, I payed 410 R$ a night and you have nothing to eat and to drink for us? Are you jocking? Where are the fresh fruits, juices, cakes what u expect in a 4* Suite. Also the 2. mornig nothing changed! Also other brasilian guests complained each day for the structure and bad services in this hotel! The restaurant had only 2 plates for choice and was always quite each evening closed. The only nice thing was the view from the terrace of the restaurant and the kind jung guys of the reception, they also speak english, but they couln´t do anything to help you. If you want to visit Rio you always need a taxi to go everywhere, pay attention to the taxidrivers if they put the right tarif and use taxomat. We were happy when the last day arrived and we could leave this hotel, we didn´t recieved even a drink to say sorry for all that problems and also no money back! I can only seuggest you; if you want to enjoy Rio de Janiero and having a relaxed holiday, mind to go to RIO 180 because you will get very dissapointed, unrelaxed and only loose your money. read more
