As part of our 3 weeks of traveling in French Polynesia ( Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora Bora) this hotel was our 2nd stop. Its unique location between the Cook and Oponohu Bay is really fantastic! We opted for a Horizone overwater bungalow - this was the right choice. Our bungalow number 107 was the penultimate and amazing views of Moorea, the sea and the fantastic sunsets. From the sun deck is a wonderful place to start extended snorkeling tours. If you like to dive we highly recommend Moorea fun dive ( even German speaking). The entire property is very ... well maintained, and the staff was always friendly. The only drawback, as in all of the hotels, the quality of the food. Price is good value for money here unfortunately not. This is a common problem in the hotel areas. All in all, we recommend the Moorea Hilton with good conscience! read more

Unfortunately we were not welcome. The room service was disorganized and slow. Complaints were ignored by the front desk. The manager had us by mail upgraded commitment - the front desk was amazed and knew from nothing. After vierzigstündiger trip we had hoped like it! Flie nets in a fast, although further 5 hours to wait until we had our bungalow ready upon arrival. After a massive complaint we were given (! ) After 3 hours a Ersatzbungalow amid the garden without any view at the sea or plants. The next day we were allowed an overwater bungalow. We had ... the impression that the hotel is more suited for families with children as for couples like us to a dream vacation in the South Seas. It was noisy (especially in the restaurants) and it was a lot by other guests and rücksichtlos "gequalmt". read more

After we arrived from the hotel intercontinental Tahiti ( large area) we were pampered and excited about what we arrived at the Hilton (not more Sheraton) on check in we were generously offered an upgrade from the Gardenbungalow on water bungalow wow how nice, but we quickly discovered why this generosity. All really all other bungalows (except for the water bungalows) had been renovated and therefore not livable. Ok it was over the holidays but not at the houses of working for a leisurely stroll through the area or in the garden was with a sleep mask or to the ... South Seas around a half DECOMMISSIONED facility to see ( we not). The toilet on the pool and the pool itself could have needed a renovation. The deck chairs and what you could call edition not to mention. So now to the nice things of the hotel area, the water bungalows are really a dream, absolutely great furniture and bathroom. The view and the trappings ( water-corals -fish) are also worth praising and especially mentionable is the crepe with the super nice chef directly from the water bungalows, delicious, extra large but unfortunately also very expensive. The manager also put us into a very nice for reconciliation (because the area was available only half) which invited to Weihnachsdinner well intentioned but unfortunately it was our opinion not changed. No one leaves you fly halfway around the world to give you a hotel to present in the Renovierungszustand is what actually and in our opinion never five star, this hotel is a value for money. We stayed here very nice people from Germany and met the were the same as we did. So now on to the next hotel Bora Bora Hilton Nui. read more

NEW: hotel Hitlon Moorea Lagoon and spa This hotel was of the Hilton Group and completely renovated. We were lucky enough to get you a free upgrade a water bungalow in the best location. The rooms are spacious and have a half-open bathroom with modern open shower, terrace with two beach chairs and a table, outdoor shower as well as direct access to the lagoon. The water is crystal clear and in the evening the reef sharks to visit. A dream come true. Also the sunsets go under the skin. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it will ... be offered various excursions from several of the agencies. To explore the island is a must! The best with a quad! This island and hotel are highly recommended. Only drawback: The food could have been more varied. read more
