Charming and stylish designer hotel in the middle in the heart of Manhattan. The whole hotel is very clean and tidy and at nearly each corner its playfulness to the day. There are all sorts of guests there, from young to old and from singles to large families everything is there. Wlan gives it for was right around. read more

We had a 'small room', but not at all time was so small, but lots of space and enough storage space offered. Also we had a huge, comfortable king size bed. The furniture is all exceptional and interesting. The mini bar is equipped generous, there is a good and fast aufwärmende heating, a tv and telephone and especially thought it was great: a small clothes for the jackets in the room. The bathroom and the shower are big enough. Also in the room found one here and there again and again the playfulness of the hotel (comments on the wall and bathroom mirror).

The location of the hotel could hardly be better. Only a few blocks from Empire State Building and 2 minutes from the nearest subway station. If one comfortably runs, one is in 20 minutes the macys and the Times Square. Also the hotel is only about 5 minutes on foot away from the Penn Station, which we from the airport jfk arrived (about 30 minutes drive jfk, Penn Station). Verhungern one is not. On every corner there are bars, restaurants and the typical fast food restaurants including McDonald's, wendys, subway etc...

Against a fee of ten dollars per day we were given a room with a great view of the city and the Empire, the second room didn't have a great view, was but for NY-Verhät ltnisse huge. There is no better location than the New York. 20 meters to the Penn-statiom (subway), from where one everything to reach can. Madison square garden 200 meters. The Empire State 600 meters. Times square about 1 kilometer. Myriads of good pubs, delis and Diners Club around the corner (at reasonable prices). If New York-then again in New York. The only drawback were the ... outdated bathrooms-but everything half so badly. read more

ACE hotel by young people for young people (but not only!) to have been made: everywhere black design, sense-and many funky design ideas, free internet access throughout the hotel plus free netbook, for NY rather spacious rooms, extremely friendly and helpful staff; The location in Chelsea is great, because the area is quiet for NY (Chelsea is just revived), on the other hand, we must look to restaurants and cafes. As the metro is around the corner, you can quickly everywhere in Ny! Conclusion: a really different Hotel concept than usual; very fresh and charming; we felt very comfortable and ... would therefore recommend the ACE Hotel further! read more

Modern "in" hotel, right in the middle of Manhattan archived

New York is a very expensive, and for those looking for some on price and value look at the land in the middle class must have been at the ACE hotel or later. I have never stayed in such an "in" hotel but rather under the classic 4 star hotels, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The ambience, without having to stay in a modern capital with its typical direction "design hotel" lapsing into superficiality. In the lobby are all day long table people who sit on your notebook - modern world. read more

Fashionable and modern decor, but very small. I fortunately no "petite' room where it only bunk beds, but the regular small room has only a bed in Squeen size format, so you could barely, for older people but less recommendable. I was in a room facing the courtyard, day and night and it is very noisy as the air conditioners were cooing the down in the courtyard and things to do in the 11th floor up to hear. So sleep is only with the windows closed.

  • Gastronomy

There is no breakfast room, get morning breakfast in a separate small room where cafe bar is available, and eat in the lobby. Often line of 20 people, I've so avoided and had been staying in the area in another venue for breakfast and dinner.

  • Service
    6.0

The staff was very young and easy going's for with cap or Cap behind the counter, makes working but absolutely professional without that I could complain about. Visitors are the safe for stockkonservative fault, but I think the hotel to anyone under the age of 35 will actually commitments. The rooms were always cleaned very well.

There is a gym and just the lobby, but that was all. In the middle of Manhattan made I guess you can't so much space for other things in this point is clearly deductions.

The hotel is located close to Empire State Building on the 29th street West. It is in a 12 -story building The hotel is spotless, has many amenities such as complimentary wireless internet in the hotel lobby, to the World Cup football were in the basement sog Liberty Hall, on the large screen-transferable. The rooms are decorated in a modern style with black and white walls and dark carpets. The room at a reasonable rate than double room only with 1 double queen size bed for 2 people. The bathrooms are big enough and will be on category by category ... bigger. The hotel has, in addition to the more modern interior design, full of nice, antique touches. A coffee shop where you get delicious coffee and delicious snacks. is on the premises of the hotel. read more

The rooms are modern and lovingly decorated with antique touches stocked. Unfortunately there were in the smaller double rooms or on the low room categories just put a queen instead of the otherwise for 2 people in America usual 2 queen beds. The rooms on the lower rate category are also very small and it lacks of storage space. In the room there was a flat screen tv and a mini-bar

There was the possibility to eat breakfast at the hotel, a coffee shop is on the premises of the hotel. They also have sandwiches and croissants.

  • Service

The service in the hotel was good. Staff is limited helpful. limited so as no Rückerstattund is granted, the room in advance if you paid before and want to leave. However, you are ready to grant a upgrade, if something wrong. Otherwise the service doesnt match. The staff are typically American superficially super friendly.

The location is optimal. In 3 minutes you are at the Empire State Building, 5 minutes to the nearest metro station, around the corner are a wonderful cafe (Café 28 ) and the club 230 , where you on the roof on the 20th floor from 1600 hours every day dinner and on weekend get brunch and a wonderful view of Lower Manhattan. In addition to the rooftop garden does the club on a lounge. What you have always there are ear plugs. The noise level in the rooms to the street at night is considerably higher than a day. Open courtyard view rooms suffer from the turbines the hotel's air conditioning. It is so noisy everywhere. The air conditioning in the room is also very noisy, but individually adjustable.

Located in Midtown Manhattan (near Flatiron Building), this hotel pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful. stylishly furnished featuring Resraurant still under construction, so the breakfast (coffee, orange juice, croissants and jam) served in a spacious guestroom. The room was quite small, furnished with a huge fridge, a wide choice of which saw us through, a flat-screen TV and a bunk bed. Walk or by using the directly nearby metro are provides easy access to all locations. Generally quiet, clean and highly recommended. read more
