Already for the 4. time we visited the hotel Oswald in Wolkenstein with both of our adult children. Very nice is located in the family suite, delicious food, the from time to time be somewhat more diverse could. Very recommendable for sports vacation in a great ski area with south tyrolean flair. read more

The breakfast was poor for 4 stars: the exclusively male staff were not always especially friendly. That goes also better. The dining room during dinner is huge and therefore not very comfortable. The resting room in the sauna is right next to the jacuzzi. Is the occupied, it is with the quiet over. Apart from that very nice spa area. A special mention for the front desk. read more

Otherwise on the first glance very beautiful hotel, for example bar and breakfast room, the benefits altogether.
The breakfast for a four-star hotel is not appropriate. There was no scrambled or fried egg, no bacon or other warm side dishes. The egg you have to cook for yourself. Also the selection of different types of sausage is very low. Delicacies like for instance salmon,. Completely missed. read more

Our stay in the hotel Oswald was a delight. It wasn't missing anything. The friendliness the service staff was exceptional. The food in the restaurant were of the finest quality. We have no complaints. The value for money was absolutely okay. The hotel can only be recommended.
we stayed for the ski in the hotel Oswald and were cleaned every morning from hotel bus drove to the ski lift, which we have really enjoyed it, but in the evening had one either you had to walk or take a taxi. That is the only downside. read more

We have at short notice for a winter holiday in Selva di Val GARDENA/wolkenstein decided. Most of the hotels were already booked, in the hotel but there is a room for the desired period. The first research on the Internet didn't arise. So we had no great expectations arrived at the hotel.
Front desk: we are opposed to 21:45 o'clock arrived. Despite the time we were still a multi-course Dinner offered. The Luggage was the staff the room and the auto in de garage.
Rooms: we had booked a junior suite Ciampinoi. The room has been a good experience. ... It was large, tastefully equipped, there was a lot of storage space, flat screen tv (also many German Programmes) and obfuscation possibilities. There were several seating. Also with the bathroom we were satisfied: large mirror, heated, nice bathtub, double sink, towel warmer-it nothing missing. The balcony was large, but we didn't used.
the room a very clean and shabby Impression made. The check-in process was extremely smooth. In the evening there was even a turn service.
Point of criticism: we would have a mattress-it would be appropriate in a suite.
Location: perfect! In the heart of Selva di Val GARDENA/wolkenstein. To the elevator Ciampinoi it was about 400 meters, supermarket hundred meters, a ski rental shop around the corner.
Important to know: due to its central location the hotel is situated on the main road. At the back of the hotel, a stream flows. We have in the room with the windows closed nothing belongs.
Food & service: the breakfast was good for Italian conditions; it was always ham, South Tyrolean farmers bacon, salami, cheese, many types of bread and rolls, various cereals, omelets, hot dogs etc.
Breakfast is taken in a'winter garden' with a view to the mountains and to the central lives of Selva di Val GARDENA/wolkenstein.
The dinner was very good. Sample menus: vegetable strudel with stewed Cherry tomatoes, polenta with cheese, small pieces of cold cream soup and Sesamcroutons, Pizzoccheri ragout and wild blueberries, grilled fillet of beef with vegetables and potatoes, champagne-sorbet with forest fruit, chocolate waffle. The meals are offering a clear view served, sometimes there were even ask for more. Furthermore, there is always a buffet with antipasti, Mortadella, different salads etc. the wine list is good, but not very cheap. The prices for the water (San Pellegrino = three €) are okay. In contrast the chef was the service staff is not always high professional, but very friendly and attentive. We had a lot of fun. The dining room is ornate. Anyone who is now a quaint Hotel similar to a hut the skiing is expected is wrong. The hotel could also a good city hotel in a European city.

All the leisure activities on offer were good but not cheap. 50 minutes have WiFi Internet connection 80 €cost.

The breakfast was average, such as salmon or the like did not give it. Tea and coffee 08/15.
The dinner consisted of several very offering a clear view Hallways, not suitable for children, drinks and food immense expensive.
