Excellent, but at a price.

Because our regular hotel on new year's eve there was booked, we had to pay for two nights in this resort avoid - we now know the intercontinental thalasso all the more appreciated. As with all the other major hotels is by shuttle boat directly from the airport by the moto une picked up. Check-in you will find the boat instead, which i very unfortunate finds, because then you were the first 'boat tour' on the lague not enjoy. After a somewhat cool reception in the lobby, we were brought to our bungalow. This was on a hill on the ... island and had a fantastic view over the lagoon. The bungalow itself shine south seas charm, but could have been quite a bit of paint. The only minus was however only, that the air conditioning hardly managed, the bungalow pleasant to temper. The hotel itself is spacious and in perfect condition. The Infinity-pool had just two levels and we could even from the swimming in the lagoon off. There are plenty of sport opportunities and two restaurants. The silvesterbüfett with dance was impressive, the price but very geschmalzen (participation was compulsory). All in all, it was a resort, with a Bora Bora relatively reasonable rate lures, but food and drinks everything reinholt.

We came with the Hilton shuttle boat from the main island and were immediately welcomed friendly and the front desk led. There was a refreshing towel and a cool drinks. At the same time we made the check-in formalities to get to a golf-cart to our overwater bungalow to be taken. A gorgeous location with free view of the see - and nothing else. The bungalow had a spacious layout, a large main room with a double bed (even a four-poster bed), a sofa and a work desk. From there it went directly into the oversized bathroom with a bath ... and two sinks. Toilet and showers were separate with glass doors separated. And there was still the large terrace with two chairs, and a table and chairs and a beautiful view of the Pacific. The whole complex is very clean and well maintained, but huge and on foot it lasts already rather for a long time, everything was to explore. Breakfast is a mixture of buffet and cooked-to-order. It tasted very good and the choice was varied. Was pleasant the free internet access in the library. Overall the hotel is quite expensive but it also offers south seas feeling pur!

As part of our 3 week tour of French Polynesia ( Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora) it was 3 Hotel. The grounds are very nice on a motu before the main island. We had our water bungalow months in advance at the hotel and were just get. I would say that it is in Bora Bora the bungalow with the most beautiful view (number 106 ). There was even postcards directly on our deck were taken. The general area is very clean and well maintained. The bungalows are huge and very well appointed. The only thing that negative aufgeefallen is was ... - as well as in the hotel before - the value in the restaurants. But overall, we also recommend this hotel!

We had a nice water bungalow overlooking the reef with clear blue water, lots of fish and nice white sandy beach. The beach restaurant is great and the Spa on top of the hill. I would recommend to book a shark feeding tour and the tahitian buffet in the beach restaurant with a great traditional dancing show.

That was our trip! Great area, great bungalow over water. The only thing is: faster room-service-) and more people on the beach. Most of the time we thought that we are alone.but the hotel was fully booked !!! May be that everybody wants to have the value of the overwater-bungalow by themselves. Yes, the restaurantes were empty and the beach too! It is a place for honeymooners.we did not share! The stuff is great, the food is as expected.the same as in europe.and surprise.surprise: we expected mountains of value and it was as the ... same as in germany!!! So: you don't need to be hungry! But: Go to Vaitape's Supermarket: take a baguette, some cheese and red wine.take a seat on your terrace and enjoy the paradise! yes it is! The only thing they have to take care is: the for the rates they sale, the room service has to be faster! And the gym is disgusting!
