The Rey Carlos features 160 suites, very spacious. Certainly is the 'lady' a bit older, but the condition is absoluit in order and very clean. The house has a very special charm. The breakfast and dinner buffet is good quality, i always found something and it was also always tasted. Since i have stayed in 5 star facilities already lower quality. Whom here it does not taste, should be its attitude reconsider. To my travel time there were mainly german retirees than guests, hardly any children, but it wasn't holiday time. Bewertung lesen

    The size of the room/suite was enormous, always separate living-bedroom, the furniture was certainly older, but in perfect condition. The balcony was also very big, all rooms facing the sunny side, we could see the sunset enjoy the sun. There wasn't a minibar, but there is a kitchenette available, including refrigerator (a supermarket is located right across the street), so you can for drinks even stockpile. A coffee maker are also provided. The bathroom was large enough, there was a bathtub, the shower with a curtain is. Also here is the cleanliness of the hotel to be highlighted.

    Location wise the hotel is great. There are a maximum of 10 minute walk to the beach, the Cita is in 3 minutes walk. There one has in the evening a good selection of pubs, etc.. Directly before the hotel is a bus stop, good network of public transport makes a car unnecessary. Within few hundred meters, there is no shortage of shops, there was a german butcher, a german baker and each quantity of taverns, bars...

    The apartment with view from the balcony to the street over the garden and pool area consists of living room with a tv and telephone, the kitchenette with a fridge and coffee maker (hatch to the living room), and the big balcony with wäscheleine. It was a very nice and relaxing vacation. There are many complainers, but if you are looking for, you will find something. We were the last years always in a star hotel and had nevertheless no losses. Was a great beginning with this Gran Canaria holiday! We had us from three stars hotel in Playa del Ingles not so positive surprise expected. The Hotel Rey Carlos is very centrally located and now these castilian style, the you in spanish mainland hotels often and sometimes old fashioned feel. For those who prefer new chromstangen has, is here not correctly, but who originality estimates a nice alternative. The buffet we found both very good. We are both well traveled, many 3 and 4 star hotels and sometimes also 5 stars hotels attend and my, that the buffet here is ... very underrated. We were lucky, once the canarian buffet (only 1 times per week) presented and felt very on the lots of fish and meat dishes looking forward to it. Also the desserts were great. We prefer the hotel because of its central location, the heated pools in the winter, the large sunny balcony, preferred the 4. and 5. the stick. We were now already ten times in the Rey Carlos and in general satisfied. Praise is the cleanliness and quiet sleep. The food leaves much to be desired. The soups are always very good.
