    Very nice, large room with sleeping area and leaving room - table with chairs. French concept of the bathroom unit - they equip room with a kind of cage consisting of the bathoroom with shower, sink and the bath, seperate very small toilet and "kitchen" with microiwave, fridge and sink. For this kind of the rorm I would expect some plates and cutlery. Room clean, but A/C working very poorly. Excellent speed of the Internet - The best I've seen in the hotel (download around 10M, upload around 20M).

    Breakfast area like in the hostel, not in the 4 star hotel. Very, very limited choice of articles, but quite good quality. "Bar" in the hotel is extension of the checkin desk. Terrible idea.

    Lenghty checkin as English knowledge was limited. After first night at 11.45am I had a phone call from receptionist. She couldn't speak a single word in English. As it appeared later she called as I had "do not disturb" card on my door. I couldn't understand. Two minutes later cleaning lady was banging on my door regardless of the card. She managed to explain me that if I want to have room cleaned I need to leave immediately as she finishes work. I haven;t seen yet a hotel where cleaning finishes even before check out time.

From the outside the hotel makes a good impression. In the same building there is also a Etap hotel. The rooms are big and clean, even if the furniture a bit outdated now is. Great is the suitebox (further down more in addition). The guests in the hotel come from all over the world, accordingly one speaks in the hotel of course perfect English. read more

    It is the furnishing getting a bit old and some wear marks, all furnishings are however in immaculate condition and clean. Pleasant is the size of the room with the separable living area. A small kitchenette with kettle, microwave and fridge ensures that independence restaurants and at longer stays very pleasant. Coffee and tea there are in the room free of charge. The inventory is refilled daily. Great is the suitebox. This is a free unterhaltungspaket where you on the tv both webradio use as well as films can see. The movies includes movie in different languages, including a larger number of German speaking movie. With the suitebox can one also into the internet go. Here is however rather the free use of the wi-fi- or lan internet connection ( wi-fi-code there is at the front desk). Although expected a no high-speed internet, the wide however easy to mails, over the region to inform or a few youtube videos to look.

    In the hotel a small breakfast buffet offered. As with suite Novotel usually is to large parts to packaged goods in limited selection. It is therefore already purely cost reasons the breakfast external shopping. With the fridge in the room you can also perishable were good store and with the kettle you can its coffee even fresh cooking. In addition in the lobby there were refrigerators with snacks which in the room with the microwave can be prepared.

    General the staff is extremely friendly. Special requests were fulfilled without problem. A broken kettle in the room was within minutenfrist ausgestauscht. Guests have the possibility in the multi-storey car park for merely 8 Euro per day parking. The statement is just with the hotel. Unfortunately there were in the parking garage even no corresponding instruction. There is only the normal tariff of 22 (!) Euro per 24 hours specified. Already at the check-in you will however asked directly, whether you by car traveled here. One remains for 3 nights or longer, so it is a free smart available ( booking via front desk). Every thursday there is free massages.

    The hotel is directly in the center from Cannes. To it is about 10 minutes to the beach hike, to the train station five. A small, however like in France usually a bit more expensive grocery store is located just a few meters away. A large eclerc - superermarkt is located 5 minutes' drive away in le cannet (direction highway drive, supermarket is signposted). Direction beach there are in the town each quantity of smaller shops, as well as restaurants and brasseries for any taste.

The hotel is very central in Cannes city center, however directly at one of the major streets Cannes. After our experience there is around the hour much traffic and jams. The advantage the location is however, the you in a few minutes walk directly at the beach and the turmoil can be. The rooms are fine, however very, very tired and the bathroom is a complete Kunststoffeinheit as on ships. Service and breakfast are unfortunately no that great been. The 14 Euro per person you can in a café to better use. In short: for a short break it is ... OK. read more

A bit far from beach but good value for money

The hotel is situated in a pleasant neighborhood with patisseries, corner stores, pizzas shops and cafes ca. 15 minutes walking to the center of Cannes (beach, shopping, Palais des Festivals). Moreover, a bus from Nice airport stops just 200 meters downstreet. On arrival at the hotel the staff were friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and the room was immaculate. It was larger than we expected with a separate bath and shower included in the large bathroom and separate toilet. There was also a dining room table, a small kitchenette and a comfortable bed. In addition, the refrigerator and ... microwave in the room with a small minibar was really convenient. The location is a very busy road but the glazing completely blocked any noise out which meant sleeping was fine. Internet in the room was for free. The free movies and TV were superb with the choice of different languages. The room was able to be sectioned of in two so felt very spacious read more
