Never again! Arrivals were only 18 guests in the whole hotel! To 3 days the hotel was closed and all the guests in other hotels reburied. Even local travel agency was not informed. Staff not rude, but sluggish. Pool bar closed at the day before afternoon at 14:00 o'clock, lobby bar (really until 24 o'clock) at 19:30 o'clock to, no warm water in the bathroom, not have any choice of food, only 2 different dishes. Salad buffet consisted of 2 salads. Cola-light not available and wanted not get more. Conclusion: a disaster! read more

There were only about 15 guests in the hotel. Accordingly also the selection of dishes. The staff was very nice. However the hotel was and also the complex very dirty. At the beach were the umbrellas wild chaos. The screens broken. The furniture was old, partly broken and filthy. On complaint the manager with lack of understanding. The plastic chair on the balcony broke when i mood began with me. Toilet paper was missing for hours. High chair was very dirty, after two days still. Etc.
We are after three days felled and transferred.
Regret the staff is, this is ... really super kind, but also sluggish. You would understand. read more

Clean rooms partly hard-working staff however without proper incentive the hotel management for one week pure relaxation ok but not for longer stay a few Euro more and five stars read more

The hotel is definitely in great shape. The service is friendly, helpful and even the beverages are brought (even without giving any tip). The hygiene is satisfactory and the hotel very big.

We stayed at the Pyramisa Blue Lagoon for 7 nights from 6th to 13th July 2012. All I can say is that we wish we had stayed for longer. We had stayed at the Pyramisa chain before so knew what to expect, but this time the Manager Mr Sherif and his staff exceeded expectations. We were greeted by Mr Sherif on arrival and were treated like royalty from the time of our arrival with a welcome lunch, to our departure with a packed lunch! The food was freshly cooked daily with a variety of meats, vegetables and salads, and daily ... BBQs. For breakfast, Chef was on hand to make up omelettes and pancakes while you wait. Mr Ashraf Rashad was on hand to make us special cocktails in the bar every evening. Although the hotel doesn’t back on to the beach, the frequent shuttle bus service meant we were able to travel in our beachwear as we were dropped steps away from the hotel’s private beach entrance! The beach was never crowded and we were able to swim in peace. There was also three pools if you wanted to stay on site. The room we stayed in was light, clean and airy with a large balcony with fantastic views over the pools and gardens. The room was cleaned daily, and the cleaner made clever designs with our towels and robes! The hotel seems to be popular with families with children as well as couples. All in all we had a fantastic time. We would recommend this hotel without hesitation. We made some lovely friends and look forward to returning to the Pyramisa Blue Lagoon next year. read more

Beautiful hotel, lovely gardens and pool area - spotlessly clean. Rooms were large with really huge balcony also cleaned thoroughly daily. We had a room overlooking the pool with sea view. Fridge also in the room and stocked with 2 large bottles of water daily.
Free sunbeds and clean towels available at the pool every day (saves packing a beach towel!). read more

The hotel is very clean, the services is very good. They always offer you a drink. We stayed at all inclusive service which was very good. The guy who made up our bed every day was also great. He made the most wonderfull things out of a towel!
The pool could be more heated when the temperature isn't that high because it was a bit cold from time to time. But when it becomes very hot...it is nice read more

It was a great stay. Great weather in January. The beach was empty and we found that very pleasant, only the construction nerves. The pool was unfortunately not heated. The staff were great, very accommodating. All staff are on the children and have which busy. Somewhat annoying were the drunk Russians and so on the on the final day very noisy at night; but the there are everywhere, we book soon again our vacation for the winter 2012! read more

The vacation was pure relaxation, as well as party suitable! It was offered by the entertainment a lot, however one was not forced, to join in. The hotel was very nice, even if the guests above all Russian and Arabic were. German guests like we were rather the exception. the hotel is relatively new. Can Egypt a plus. Whether five stars or not, over which you could argue forever. We must not just German criteria compare. All rooms or bungalows are around the massive pool area arranged, the only once an enormous impression leaves. All in all see, I can in relation to cleanliness no complaints at all. Guests moderately everything was very mixed. You could especially Russians, British and French account. read more

I always make a point of checking out Trip Advisor and hope anyone interested in visiting Egypt sees this. Hurghada is totally safe even though there has been some unrest in Egypt it has not affected the Red Sea resorts. I stayed at this hotel from 26 Feb until 12 March 2011 with 2 other female friends and we could not fault either the hotel or the service. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble for them. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, mattresses turned every day, clean sheets and towels and beach towels every day. My other ... visits to Luxor and Sharm led me to tell my friends that although all inclusive we would probably be eating out as the food in Egypt is really bad HOW WRONG I WAS - we didnt have 1 bad meal in the whole 2 weeks. The soup and fish prepared by the chef are to absolutely die for. Outdoor BBQ's and speciality evening meals - scrumptious.
We got VIP treatment and could have been due to the fact that there are not many people visiting Egypt at the moment, however I do believe that the staff would always give 100% but under the circumstances I think we got 150%. I will definately be going back to this hotel and if funds allow would like to go back later this year, but definately next year. If I had any suggestions for improvement it would be the evening entertainment, there were a couple of really good nights, and a couple of dead nights and with not many of the clubs and bars near us being open due to lack of custom it became a bit boring of an evening. I really hope that people support Egypt during this unsettled time, and I hope that the workers in Egypt get they rightful reward, the staff in this hotel deserve much much more that they currently receive. So glad my friends felt the same as I did and we made a point of leaving tips in each service area, dining room, bar, housekeeping and the reception. Thank you all for making our holiday so special. read more
