A place to feel very welcome and feel at home. The rooms were unique, super clean and comfortable. The food is always tasty and very varied. The condition of the building ( hotel, restaurant, Museum and castle) is great and historic charm. The sauna is on the lake and we use whenever possible. Also for swimming it is a dream. The waiters and receptionist were always friendly, helpful and always make you feel welcome to be with friends. Even the language barriers will be here with humor consultancy services. Cute little town are along the coast to discover Finnish ( ... circa 15 -20Automin. ), But a car is needed. All in all, the hotel is really recommendable, especially if you are looking for peace and quiet. A real gem surrounded by beautiful Finnish nature! read more

A great place to have a Wedding! We are three of us to the wedding our friend to Svartå. The flight from Munich to Helsinki was only about 2 hours. When we arrived there we rented a car and are rented to Svartå. After arriving at Castle we were stunned by the beautiful location right on the lake. The facility consists of the castle ( Museum), the restaurant, hotel buildings and a castle park. The wedding was our friend in the historical buildings, as well as in the park. From the church, directly to the castle was attached to ... the Hochzeitszug champagne at the castle run. Our hotel room was tastefully decorated with great attention to detail; especially color nice bright decor. Even though the hotel was fully booked we never had the feeling that it was overrun or loud. The food was excellent. There was a fancy four-course meal! We will always the dream wedding this perfect place to remember. The castle is my point without the occasion well worth a visit. read more

The hotel is located in a beautiful park on a lake. The manor is a very interesting museum tour to see. We all enjoyed the stay as hiking, canoeing, explore the beautiful surroundings and culinary treat. The sea is by car in 20 minutes away, the capital Helsinki in 45 minutes. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and will be next fall back to a walking holiday. read more

If you had not seen this place you Finlandn't met! It was the highlight of our trip from porvoo until Hankoo in the south of Finland. The hotel is situated in the green paradise, on the edge of a lake. We had a very nice room in the annex to the castle with a view of the park. The room was clean, bright and friendly, nice equipment. There is a very nice sauna right on the lake the us sauna-fans enthusiasts. This is the place to relax. The food was delicious with plenty of choice and Sofitel.com Finnish dishes. ... At the castle there is an interesting tour of the history of the house and the family that there is still living. There were some other activities for but lacked the time. The communication with the staff was except for very good. These elderly lady picked but immediately support, if she saw us. The value was very much in order, especially compared to our hotel and food in Helsinki. Overall the hotel is a unique Scandinavian atmosphere and is with the castle and park really worth a tour! read more
