The hotel looks inside very new, the style is 'IKEA'-simple. There are approximately 105 rooms on four floors. Everything is very clean and tidy, also the bathroom. Wlan was only in the lobby free of charge. The breakfast was for the price extensive, the coffee good. The staff was friendly, and you could in the evening (as we with a child not so late in bars could quite convenient) billiards or table football games. Great value for money! read more

A top hotel for short stay and pass through. Room and bathroom super big and clean, TV could a lot. A little bit bigger, but they are unimportant details. We were only one night since, but has everything pipifein fit. Value for money more than pretty good and we have 1 hour before the check in only the reservation. All together a very recommendable hotel for expectations above average. read more

The hotel lies not far from the center away, it offers pay parking and free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Wi-Fi on the rooms is subject to a charge. The furnishing is modern and pleasing to the eye. As a city hotel is the view from the rooms of course not so great. Breakfast is the cheap price appropriate. read more

Room was top! Clean, large enough for us 4. had a family room with a double bed and a bunk bed. Very clean. Bathroom very clean and beautiful! Everything new!
To criticize: in the room there was only a narrow open box/shelf (circa 50 centimeters wide, 2 meters high). So no place to put the whole garment for a 4 -headed family to hang up! We were just 3 days there, it thus so halfway fit.
Breakfast buffet very extensive. The place to sit looks not so comfortable, but for breakfast it was OK!
Location of the hotel right at ... the foot of the kapuzinerberg!
Parking costs 11,- per day - no matter wether outside or in the garage. Is quite expensive. But directly at the hotel you can also 4 hours free parking. If one much on the way is, you saved the parking fee so.
In summary: great value for money! Recommendable nonetheless for a few days vacation in Salzburg! Nothing for longer stay! read more

During my short trips to Salzburg i voted for the meininger hotel in Salzburg decided. I stayed in a dorm 6 beds. The room is in spite of the three bunk beds very spacious. Dorm room is a separate room with a toilet, as well as a bathroom with shower and sink. The room is next to a table with chairs also with a tv and spinten to keep equipped. The hotel and the rooms are very modern to classic decorated and are cleaned daily. A big plus is the value for money. Nights in a dormitory are per person ... and a night from 12 Euro possible.
The staff at reception stands the guests speech and for answer. You should the public transport be dependent, so is the next bus stop just a few strides away from the hotel. Supermarkets and other shops are also good to reach. The key sights are about 2.5 kilometer away. read more

First impression: furnished nicely, clean. Rooms: tiny, the scant space with objects matratzenähnlichen luggage full. Loud single beds, the slide apart, if you want a double bed. The bare walls only seating area with a television. Positive: hair dryer available, economical way firmly installed soap and shower lotions are provided. We chose the meininger, as we had three young people travelled to the Christmas market, whose budget is a budget hotel. The hotel lies not in the historic centre, is however with two bus line both from the centre as well as from the train station from easy to reach (12 minutes). The interior design is simple and functional, without, however, becoming so cool or barracks prison. Our room was on the small side 311, but enough for two nights. A closed closet does not exist. The bathroom is rather tight limited, but not too small. The beds are comfortable. ... It was a little chilly in the room, which is probably due to the insulating windows. With a bit of heat but it was quite comfortable. Everything was very clean. Our young companion had a quad room in size; the sofas, it has a bunk bed. Mini bar does not exist, but for the seven times 24 hour front desk has refrigerators with drinks. The wireless Internet in the rooms costs extra, to the reception area there is a free Wi-Fi. The breakfast room we didn't used. The meininger is not the hotel for you, it leaves no reminders, no positive and not negative. It is a budget hotel. Everything is working properly, and at a fair price. read more

Everything was fine! Large 4 -bedroom with small flat screen TV, friendly atmosphere on the whole house. Very good city location with bus station on your doorstep. Sufficient, delicious breakfast, something for everyone. There is no five star hotel, but the value for money is more than OK.! read more

We felt comfortable in this hotel! The staff at the front desk was very friendly, we could even check in two hours earlier than advertised. Got a room in the five floor. Nice decor, a small balcony with seating possibility was also there. Room was relatively quiet; nice accessories such as reading lamps in cow bells optics, stool as a night table. small deer on the walls. Beds were comfortable and new, the blankets. Price/performance ratio is great! We had paid for a double room 48.00 euro. The simplest option for parking is underground parking for 7 Euro/24 hours ..., the hotel is right next to a shopping center (and a large supermarket) the city center is reachable. About 20-25 minutes you need. (Bus station nearby). read more

super great hotel!. Appears to be fairly new, the the furnishing is quite modern and hardly worn. The staff are super friendly and tried every wish and every need to fulfill. The cleaning lady came in the days, in which I was there every day. Furthermore this is hotel with the bus line 2, about 10 minutes runs all the from the airport in about 30 minutes and the main station about about 10 to 15 minutes to reach. The access to sights can be great with the transport. Directly next to the hotel is a citycenter, by a couple ... both small shops, as well as a supermarket. Aldi, Lidl, as well as Mc Donalds about within 300 meters located. I would recommend this hotel in any case book here again! read more

The hotel has a youth hostel style!
when booking over the phone they told us the costs for the parking already in the inbefriffen price however, when we checked out and pay no one wanted to know this... Very incompetent in my opinion! 11 euros 24 hour per!
when we complained about the very measly breakfast buffet saw we were really disappointed but the highlight was when we asked whether we could have an egg, the schippische response from the front desk: we didn't, there was only bread, sausage and cheese...
so I would not recommend it!

we stayed as a one the first guests, the hotel had only 2 days open, but everything was as mentioned by Chrissy, the staff is always very helpful and friendly. We were with our two children (2 and 5) and were surprised at how quickly on it they responded and the hotel at all no problem and everything was immediately without demand information. (Chair, travel cot, children bed clothes, toys). We were charged in a other room booked and got a 6 bedroom extremely a lot Capacity. So we can do it other families really recommend, parking was also available. ...
