The bentota village is a small, quiet and very clean hotel. During our travels visited lots of young german couples and middle aged couples the hotel. A lot of employees worried about the cleanliness of the rooms and care, of the truly wonderful and beautifully landscaped gardens. The pool was very welcoming in the middle the hotel, all rooms accessible and with beautiful view of the outside, the palm trees scenery. read more

    Our room in bentota village was spacious, functional and tastefully decorated. Our room had air conditioning, fan, a closet with safe, a table with a large mirror, mini bar with Cola, water, beer; telephone and enough storage space. The bathroom was also large and also very clean. For our room was a small terrace with two chairs and a small wooden table.

    In the hotel there are a very nice open breakfast area, from which you have a view of the garden. The area is very clean. The offer for breakfast was just with a lot of fresh fruit, but sufficient. During our stay have cereal for breakfast buffet was promptly sent up.     We were from the hotel staff friendly and very warm welcome. No matter wether reception, gardener, cleaning maid, chef or massage all signaled by their language (german and cramped. +non-verbal) which one is welcome and can probably-feel. The rooms were mornings cleaned daily and in the evening were also times the garbage pails in the room emptied. After a shower we were once with the tuk tuk in the hotel and, with the umbrella to to our room accompanied. Everybody was about our well-being very hard. We had no complaints, therefore i can give no data.

    At the pool and the beach there were no animation. We only twice at the beach experienced, that a quiet music was played. The peace and quiet we have as a positive felt, as you on the various noises of nature could listen to. The beach invites for long walks, which in the evening (17:00) particularly beautiful are, then it wasn't so hot anymore and you perhaps with a sunset beloht is. In addition at the beach you can jogging, play ball or in the high waves jumping or diving. Beach chairs, cushions and towels are included in the bentota and waharena free of charge. We have still a private towel brought, as we the impression had, the towels not so fresh. In waharena there was also a shower, the was perfect.

    The bentota village lies in a quiet side street, the busy main street. With this location the hotel is really good location for all tourists. If you like, you can take the tuk tuk to the beach drive, the seitestraße along, past the houses of locals, to to the beach to arrive or one drives with the tuk tuk quickly after bentota. Also with the public buses from the main street from, the you with handsign stopping. Not all buses stop at, as it also fernstreckenbusse returns. Of bentota it is possible with the train in different directions to drive. In walking distance vicinity of the bentota village you also found some restaurants, in which you can eat. We have some at the beach try (behind the railroad) and may now not recommend, since many personal impressions play a big part. In bentota there are many stalls which fresh fruit or local pastries is sold. In the evening we have done nothing, only the peace and quiet in the hotel enjoyed.

The small hotel is about 500 meters away from sea. , there is almost exclusively german guests. The hotel is located in a quiet area in a side street, it is also in the night with own frog-and birds to be expected. read more

    The rooms are relatively large and high, in the bathroom there was no shower gel (knows you not), only a klitzekleines hiving moose shampoo per person and day, soap only on demand, please bring everything, so that one is always in the front.     The breakfast buffet consists of so-called very soft and small rolls, toasts a few slices of bread and 3 sorts of jam, yogurt, ham and cheese, whose origins we do not define could. Thank god there was pineapple, bananas, papaya, mango, lime and passion fruit. Good was the omelette, which one could order. The highlight was a freshly squeezed fruit juice, orange juice was also there. The coffee was for our palate inedible, the tea was okay. The at some days selection of cakes please do not try, very dry. Unfortunately were the dishes not written, so that one often in the dark toddled. In short, the dinner one must live experienced, 14 days the best, if you then still laughs, the humor, guaranteed. The food is very monotonous and offers no variation.

The bentota village is a small (within the meaning of with 15 rooms manageable) hotel about 10 minutes walk from the beach away the manager due to its connection to Germany its (consistently german) guests the stay so amusing and enjoyable as possible.     The rooms are large and spacious, the bathrooms also-everything is in my opinion nationaltypically furnished (dark wood). Tv ('Deutsche Welle Asien' or ' aljazeera' english), Minibar, air conditioning, fan and mosiktonetz = everything you need. No hair dryer, but enough electrical outlets in the bathroom ( adapater as for gigabyte of advantage). Rooms were cleaned daily, towels all 3, 4 days new (at the pool and beach, there are separate towels), bed linen also.

    The breakfast buffet is, as already described several times, for certain bverbesserungsfähig, but if you in the morning 'sweet' like it for the is everything ok. We've learned more fruit (delicious and always fresh!) And omelets for breakfast... The ' snacks' in warahena beach hotel (= the hotel-own beach) are, the prices performance level, class and very recommendable. Evenings there was unfortunately in 2 weeks only once ' curry & rice ', everything else was in my opinion rather the taste of the very german guests payable however therefor ok. Room service and service by the pool only for drinks, in my opinion during the day no snacks in bentota vilage available (we have however also never asked, since we mostly on the way or at the beach were ☺

    Most of the staff speak at least a little german, with english you always got along. They are all very friendly and helpful and try the guests make the vacation as pleasant as possible.     The hotel is set back from the coastal road to galle (and therefore also a bit farther away from the railway station) and is therefore relatively quiet. Shopping possibilities (also supermarket) are within a few minutes by tuk-tuk away, as well as the hotel's beach at the hotel warahena beach (sister hotel). Some restaurants in in the area, but in my opinion also rather on the european tastes are, therefore, you could just as good in the hotel eat...

We had the hotel after a round trip for one week and were absolutely satisfied. Very recommendable the tours with the small trains with podi. It is a very nice guy and made a lot in the area shown. We have our stay in the hotel because of the easy going atmosphere really enjoyed and us here felt good. The area is very nice and tidy. We would like to highlight the staff's hospitality from the cleaners to the chef. Also the food has always great food. Desk - not a problem. With the love mano you could easily via tuk tuk the area explore. We had a lot of fun together. Our excursions with kuma, the very nice hotel boss felt very much happiness and we can this really warmly recommend. Beach is about 300 meters away - ... you can here a nice walk; or it is always a tuk tuk in front of the hotel, that one immediately and free of charge to the sister hotel takes, where the pleasant staff chairs systemless. You can at the beach in the sister hotel also a small tasty lunch snack-that will without any problems on the room. read more

Our stay in bentatota village was' paradise '! The staff so attentive and friendly, the manager kuma las us each desire from the eyes. The tuk tuk travels mostly executed by podi, were always a fun. At any time, and whenever we wanted we were to the beach or after bentota or to the waterfall chauffeurs. It should be noted: we could spur change and were therefore not included in the bentota village, but in the small sister hotel ( warahena beach hotel ) directly at the beach. The change did not take place, because the bentota village not acceptable (it was really good impression), but, because we the hotel at the beach with its wonderful view of the palm trees and sea just liked it better. All in all it must be mentioned that: kuma (the manager) and his people have excellent care of us. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and our visit in ... bentota was the first, but certainly not the last!-) Recommendable also are the of kuma offered excursions (interesting and well priced very fair)-in particular the two-day tour in the national park by night stay at the tree house! read more

Were 2 nights in this hotel before our trip began. Immediately felt good, because the hotel really very nice, the rooms big and spacious, beautiful green garden and good food. Particularly praiseworthy, is the friendly staff and because the hotel is so small, you felt really gerlos. A small very nice peacefully located hotel. Very friendly staff aims the vacation pleasant to reframe. The complex is with great plants plentiful busy. For excursions in the area you can the front desk anytime cheap a small trains rent. Here gayan very pampered. Until the great sandy beach is about 5 minutes on foot. read more

The types of people are mostly german. The employees are exceedingly friendly and very focused on the wellbeing of the guests.     The hotel lies slightly off the beaten track the main street and about 300 meters away from the beach. It is very quiet. If you other restaurants, smaller excursions or for swimming at the sea would like, so they are with the tuk tuk's to reach. Excursions could be in the hotel book yourself (on kuma ), the prices depending on number of passengers. We have a 2. tour operator tried and were very satisfied, we have in the restaurant sun and surf and have chamin got to know ( future ' punchi tours), he speaks very good german and us on the trip to kandy, accompanied, we have heard a lot about the country, religion and environment. Chamin know how we tourist from Germany 'ticken' and what we want to see ☺

In august we were 'in the rainy season' in bentota village and i the hotel can and by the small trains shuttle, not far away beach with best conscience further-recommend! It has very nice spacious rooms with a good facilities. The food was varied, varied and above all tasty. The staff, in particular pale, was in friendliness and willingness to help unsurpassed. The team and the lovely kumar (k. a. kapila kumara) leaves no wishes unfulfilled. One of kumar organised safari with subsequent unforgettable baumhausübernachtung we did. Vacation from the start! Very good hotel with competent staff! Who plans to make a trip should be definitely with kuma to yale national park travel! Night in tree house there were only here! If you are looking for a small trains driver for the immediate area to explore with podee or manu in absolute experts landed very recommendable! Private shuttle bus-service to the sister hotel directly at the beach is free of charge. Selected tuk-tuk driver. Hotel is half under German management. Therefore, also the familiar German standard with local atmosphere. Dinner was our travel to order-so completely according to desire and taste. The chef was top class. Here there is no mass processing. Great excursions, that are less expensive, as with all tour operator, since private and organized.     Delicious food ( in particular the pub kitchen with all the curry). The breakfast is very extensive, repeated but more or less every day. Who fruit like is here in the right spot. We were aware of in the low season/ Rainy season from 1-5-12 to 15-5-12 in the hotel accommodated. Unfortunately at that time only 2 other women stayed there, so that the kitchen completely overburdened with the combination of food for so few guests was. We have wishes said, which were not fulfilled, instead you try to give us with European food respectively Fast food as fries etc. Catering. We chose every day rice and Curries desired, so that one local kitchen to try out can. Even the travel guide we informed but nothing happened. It was a staff for everyone ..., for our room cared has, so the money was, that one completely harassed has. Very pushy. The highly acclaimed tours of the hotel management we can't recommend, because we so much trouble had, that this the entire vacation very troubled. We have even the police deeply involved, the situation ultimately locked. The small trains driver Podi is very link and helped us with a boat trip tried with the boatswain to deceive. The scam was: price negotiate and after the drive say, you have much more. Many figures from uncertainty and around peace to have however this is simply fraud. Days we in the hotel Representations and none view more appreciated. Highly unprofessional. The fact is, Sri Lanka is a wonderful island and there are certainly many nice and hospitable people there but in this hotel were they all just greedy and only so long nice, as long as the money is coming from.
