OK, but far from everything

It's far away from everything. There is a bus stop within walking distance, but the buses don't run very often. Florence is a very walkable city in general, but from there it's not realistic. Nothing is done to compensate for the location--except maybe free parking for tour buses? It's not really a business hotel as they only have a few small rooms and no real meeting facilities or catering. No swimming pool, which many hotels on the outskirts boast. Breakfast is so-so--certainly not four stars, more like a motel. A bathrobe is provided (but it was in a sealed plastic ... bag, so it was unclear if it is offered to guests during their stay or available for purchase), but no slippers. They only give 60 minutes of free Internet per day, and using it is a huge headache--first, it requires a lengthy and complex signup if you interrupt your session, you can't easily log in again. Of course it's provided by a third party, so the hotel is not involved. Why is that any two-star in Europe will just give me one login that will work flawlessly for the duration of my stay, and this presumably 4-star hotel. The room key insert does not list the hotel's address or phone, and there are no flyers or brochures about the hotel in the lobby that you could grab with you and show a taxi driver on the way back (mind you, most drivers won't even recognize this street name). You are supposed to have committed the address to memory--not so easy if you are on a business trip that involves 5 hotels in 10 days. and walking from downtown is not a feasible option. In other words, while there was nothing horribly wrong, and the cleanliness is fine, why would anyone choose to stay here voluntarily? The location is inconvenient, and there are no services to compensate for it. If you had no other option, and could get a reasonable rate, then maybe. read hotel review

The hotel is located in a very good condition. Room are well-appointed, clean, and an elevator, and a fitness room. Also the breakfast buffet is plentiful! Only one to be desired: noisy booking and venere is not the place of the hotel, where it is angezeit according to the map.
