We have our favorite hotel found! More we should actually not write... The whole hotel made a clean and neat impression. The breakfast left nothing to be desired: muesli, egg dishes, speciality coffees, fresh juice. Everything available for a great start to the day. The guests were mixed. From young to old. Individuals, couples, but also smaller groups. A good mixture. read more

    We lived in a m * room with a partial view of the kitzsteinhorn. The room was stylish decorated and particularly beautiful the direct view at waking up from the bed to nature and the snow. The closets were in the entrance area and were only separated by a translucent curtain separated. Unfortunately it was missing in the entrance and schrankbereich on hangers and iron. On demand we were told, that more hooks should be installed.

    The dinner finds in an old farm in the immediate vicinity to the hotel (50 meters) instead. Traditional farmhouse meets' young-cooks '. The quality of the food was excellent. Great presentation and very varied. No serious fare, but light and original menus. The waiters were very courteous and knew after a short time our preferences and wishes... Just perfect. Just the sanitary installations in the restaurant may a fresh coat of paint stand.

    It is a pity that here only '6 suns',, because the kindness and personality of family leitner & team are not more to exceed! Almost every request was from our eyes and it was also always time, for a bit of 'rattle'. We are already looking forward to it today on the reunion in january.

    The wellness and spa area is, what it promises. Modern and sylisch furnished. Comfortable furniture, great view of the kitzsteinhorn and at all times fresh tea and water. In addition to several saunas, the physiotherm incredible... Sweating on another, very gentle. And in the port a dip lower starry sky in the outdoor pool. Just amazing. Another form of relaxation were there in the form of the massages. Professional and personal at the same time. In particular Bernhard knew after a short treatment for our complaint. Great physical therapist!

    The hotel lies at the edge of town of kaprun. It is however everything is within walking distance and the ski bus goes within sight in the various ski areas. Since the hotel set back a bit from the main street is, it is marvelously calm and deep sleep is guaranteed...

In short: we loved it! I am a travel agent and can honestly say, that i stumbled upon this hotel have come across. My friend and i were on a extended weekend for skiing in the active by leitner's and were completely contented. By the size of the place is the service very personable and welcoming. No matter in which area, the staff are friendly and courteous, if you have a question or request, will immediately cared. The wellness area is particularly praiseworthy, very comfortable, there is everything that you could want: sauna, solarium, steam bath, cozy loungers and 'beds' ..., had a massage, also the was perfect and relaxing! Also great we found the restaurant, the outside is very quaint, cozy and simply beautiful! Food is always matter of taste - but we were very pleased with the young and dynamic team of winklhofs! The ski passes is in the hotel. The location is brilliant, you can from kaprun in three different winter sports regions drive (kitzsteinhorn, maiskogel and schmittenhöhe) so that we never get bored! In short: we were definitely not there for the last time. I can well imagine in the summer some days to spend here! A big thank you again the entire team of the active by leitner's-you are great! read more

We are as a couple not for the first time in this hotel. We always like it very good. The location is very pleasant, as the ski nearby leaves, as the glacier, maiskogelbahn and the city center with easy access to Zell am See (further winter sports region). The selection at the breakfast is very plentiful and is constantly renewed. In the afternoons there are a 'snack' with cakes and different drinks (coffee, tea, juices and so on). Dinner is more than enough, always beautifully presented, varied and the service is friendly and accommodating. The wellness area is very good ... with 2 saunas, a steam bath, physiotherapiekabine possibilities for different massages and solarium (separately to book). The swimming pool, heated outdoor pool, after the kiddies very recommendable. The guest is king here! read more

Were at the end of january 2013 a week guest in active and we have felt very comfortable. All of the staff are willing to help and open, the furnishing of the hotel and especially the spa surpassed all expectations. Breakfast is varied, it gives in the afternoon cakes and even Cappuccino or choco without an extra charge. The abentessen is five stars plus value respect not too much but every evening a great three course -menu with salad bar and this just a few strides away from the hotel. The apartments are in comparison to hotel rather typical of ... the country but totally comfortably furnished. Small tip. In a swimming canal the snowflakes in supine position in the evening observe, this is pure relaxation. We are very much looking forward to go back. read more

Atmosphere ok, however the rooms are probably id was very different. We had one of the l -category - which all understanding of the minimalist einrichtungsweise -very kind (taste)-los furnished. With style has our understanding unfortunately nothing to do. But tastes are different as well known. Spa area is very nice and attractively decorated. Staff friendly, unfortunately partly a bit clumsy, with questions, light complaints v guests for example. The in our opinion largest point of criticism the culinary or the feeling, that-where it only went-was spared (to be). Breakfast buffet was very good and reasonable. The cakes- and kaffeebüfett ... at the nanometer was however unfortunately not very satisfying. At 2 of 3 days the filter coffee (!, no machine for Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, etc.) Cold and stale (from the breakfast?). After our instruction at the staff (the we only had to find), we were told, that new, fresh coffee comes, if the old depleted. The cakes are (at least partially) not home-made (bo frost?) And were partly still cold or 1 time even easily frozen. Here too, we have the staff attentive. Answer' probierens a other, we have probably late thawed. ' but also the thaw is apparently not made daily, as we had several times the same cakes as the day before (but also other). Dinner: ambience in the winklhof very nice and a great idea this old farm as a restaurant redesign. Because of d levels and standards but we found it surprising, that d whole menu (except salad v buffet) served and in the appetizer no choice and the main course only 2 options there was. Portions are very small and average taste. Salad buffet was nicely decorated and also the taste was top, however also at all 3 evenings exactly the same. Serving staff was friendly and competent. All together it is a beautiful house and we are not too negative to write. However we are of the opinion, that the value for money 't at all true. A well-intentioned advice on end for you family leitner: when i see, that you here almost any review comment, this is in social media times very laudable and understandable, however i would recommend a bit less time to be used, any complaint in the big world wide web -world in no to suffocate or justify, but anstattdessen to ensure, that one as a guest not the feeling has, that in every corner and end saved. read more

The apartment was clean, had its best years already behind itself. It started with the small rohrenfernseher at (bearable) and heard in the pull-out sofa on. After a week i was glad, again in my bed to sleep. The couch was for sleeping completely unsuitable and so uncomfortable, that i was awake at night several times. Also the water in the shower was often only after 5 to 8 minutes warm. The value for money ... therefore voted were unfortunately not at all. read more

    The food, breakfast and dinner were good. The deduction is based not in the quantity of the food or the atmosphere. Both the main house, as well as the barn for evening meals offered no reason for critic. But there was-due to the high season-fixed meal times at 18 o'clock or around 20:00. we found that annoying. The fixed allocation of the tables we found not good.

Have a week over christmas spent in the hotel and so we really felt good! Family leitner is extremely hard, so that their guests feeling well! As well as the rest of the staff! Much attention is also snacks- The spa area invites to relax. For a hotel also many beach chairs available. Breakfast is perfect, also you feel after. With tea, coffee and cake very comfortable (included in the price). A great idea is, that the dinner in winklhof is served. Nice surroundings, good food, perfect wine recommendation. Yes, the way is in the winter quite icy, but as ... you get that beforehand know, you can appropriate footwear minehmen. Had a right weeks of comfort, have the hotel now already several times recommended and will itself definitely return! read more

There are completely different rooms in the hotel, what is not on the homepage read. There was nothing for children (play area, indoor pool...). Staff are very friendly; breakfast really good; but dinner was for a 4 star hotel very bad, have almost always ate out! read more

    Oh what a fright, had me as always on holiday check and was disappointed. As mentioned in other reviews was corresponded the room not the internet. Spartan. Stains on the wall, the toilets in the floor area not white, but grey, shower cubicle with entrance, the lighting is not sufficient, the safe the attached schrankboden ( every time nearly lying open)... Was actually in the category not!

    Since in the dossier of the hotel of great cooks the speech was, was this also our expectations. This was an average meal not met. The kitchen was flexible, but of great but far away. In the remaining there were 2 meal times. From 18:00 until 20:00 and from 20:00. this leads in the first layer not just relaxed and also the planning skiing, sauna are suffering of the meal time. Constantly the feeling from terminstress and also with the food you have a zeitdruckgefühl.

    The staff was always willing to help and courteous. Only at new year's eve we had the feeling, for discrepancies in the morning, different to be treated. After half an hour it was asked, what we want to drink, and stress in the restaurant it could not have been. New year's eve, you especially hard. No champagne, no music and atmosphere was apparently not appropriate. In comparison to the many good hotels in previous years disappointing.

The cleanliness for 4 stars-well-it is in a lot of effort-but the glasses in the bathroom for example will only be wiped out-not renewed. Unfortunately, we had to in the essenshygiene drawbacks (fingernail in the frittatensuppe, the us as blütenmischung sold) The guest structure was ok-except for russian invasion in the spa - oh well. read more

    The rooms are big enough - the condition quite new-one smelled it also-it bites a little (maybe the teppichkleber?). But after a lot of units left after! Interesting the toilet the unlockable is-you must know in order jointly to night and. Yes and the closet has no doors only curtains-and unfortunately there are no hooks in the room - neither for wardrobe for bath robe... We had the damp wet stuff always on the floor, the armchair or otherwise where camps. ☺ well, and the area of the cabinet is quite inconvenient 4 hangers 3 shelves-the top shelf not reachable (although i 170 am)!

    The restaurant for dinner is a little on the hill and with snow and ice, bad to climb. The restaurant was ok, and in the main building! Quality-as mentioned above, and unfortunately not what it says on the tin- brokkolicappuccino = broccolisuppe from the sektgals ☺ level was very flaxig -everything left-on evaluation at the waiters-no response. Fried potatoes were boiled potatoes, risotto was hard raw rice-nothing to eat, no reaction to note! And the taste was not as promised outstanding! Rather average! Rather little slather in the menu for more-then the disappointment small!

    The boss itself is really very friendly - i have therefore also so long faltered before i came to this evaluation write-but mrs liter-only you learn by your mistakes! The service staff (breakfast) were the first two days extremely temperemental-arrogant and incompetent the small chaos with the many guests for new year's to manage. The 2. layer was then very friendly. During dinner was very hard-but sorry i missed the style! Dealing with complaints - well, the fingernail in the frittatensuppe was ultimately as blütenmischung sold-and a glass of schnapps than compensate for the horrors-remained also from! A shame-no style!

    For new year's we were and we had a dream, to meet-new year's eve skiing in the mountains - in a beautiful hotel let yourself be pampered! Yes not very cheap the fun! But luck-on new year's eve was nothing at all offered from the side of the hotel - not even a small drink at midnight! It is so easy to organize-a small ice or snow bar in the garden little mulled wine charging-that would be enough-perhaps a a little music-no! Nothing-it was really sad-so we chose to take it on our balcony (as many other guests also) withdrew and our little new year's eve to 2. celebrated ☺ a shame-really unfortunate!

    To the ski bus stop, you have to stop with ski boots on partly icy sidewalks around 5 to 8 minutes walk. Until you ultimately on the piste -so for example the kid takes about 1 hour (with waiting for the ski bus and gondola, etc.) Shopping in the place ok! Two larger department stores one for fashion one for sport-fits! Night life-fits also!

For new year's 2012 we were with five persons in the active by leitners hotel. We stayed in the style apartment. The apartment was with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, balcony, living room (winter garden), large bath and separate toilet very generously furnished. The breakfast and the spa area were great. In particular has us the outside pool pleased. The temperature was just right, no matter wether after the sauna or at 8 o'clock in the early morning swimming was. Very praising to mention are especially the kindness and helpfulness the whole team, For example: we wanted to at 08:00 o'clock ... swim, not a problem within less minutes The outside pool extra for us one opened. Our completely special thanks applies especially mrs leitner with your tips and help. There were 3 very relaxing days! (in spite of the wounded knee ), many thanks for that! read more

We really have 7 great day of vacation spent, one noticed immediately, that in the hotel everything made with love is. Very should be emphasized the dinner in the restaurant, a culinary masterpiece! We had always the feeling, that look forward, that we guests in the hotel are, all employees are very friendly. Only drawback is the small tubes -tv in the double room 's', there needs a flat screen %BLANK%.;-) We can absolutely recommend the hotel! read more
