Hotel Taprospa Waterfront^{(3 stars)}

the rooms on the ground floor have a significant smell. Our room on the first floor was relatively large. Climate and fan functioned. the bathroom was filthy, very worn and unappetizing.

the served breakfast was OK, the prepackaged breakfast for the booked safari was measly. the buffet in the evening corresponds more European taste as Sri-Lanka habits. On the request for chilipaste we got sharp ketchup.

on arrival was the call reserved room not finished yet. You consoled us anytime again on further 10 minutesjust as we after almost two hour impatient in the door remained, was the staff seriously at the work. after the return of the safari for about 17 hours our room nIC HT cleaned. Room service was only after appropriate complaint. the staff are although friendly, but even for Sri Lanka quite slow the boss himself with bad example first, by placing the fish in the lake feeds during the guests on the breakfast wait.

Pool was OK. no access to the internet available.

medium-sized hotel area right on the lake in principle tidy built, but in poor condition. general cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Stairs, pool enclosure, beach chairs... Partly really dirty.

right on the lake, beautiful Sunsets to watch. About 10 minutes footpath to main street with shops.
