The quality is so nice and friendly as we had not so ever experienced. In contrast to this had the owner of the hotel and his son no greeting for the guests desired, several times greeted we by the pool lying to the owners, which only a grimmigen, obsessive view of us had. The range of dishes and their quality were excellent. The pool in the garden the hotel was great clean and wonderfully quiet. We had in our luxury rooms unfortunately no place to sit. Also would be a fridge a useful complement to a comfort room. Wireless worked ... in the restaurant very good. It was thanks to the very nice service team really enjoyed. read more

There is better possibilities, spend your holiday.
The building has gotten old. Apparently, the owner in includes mafia-like activities involved.
We are after 5 days to the neighbors changed. Newer house, clean, cheaper, nicer people, better food.
Unfortunately is Sri Lanka altogether very dirty, garbage, misery, many wild, räudige dogs, dirty beaches, much fraud and fraud, tourists will be everywhere except. We travel next time elsewhere. read more

Very nice resort directly at the beach
I had my long-term vacation from 3 months in ypsylon resort, an excellent resort with a perfect value for money- hotel with about 26 rooms small but sweet. Room, kitchen, front desk, staff under the guidance of manager Dagmar all expectations arrived or exceeded. With the hotel's own small busses you can great travel undertake, whereby particularly the driver sunil (german speaking) for each personal perfect trip put together and at the same time as tour operator everything perfect said. The ypsylon resort is located in my opinion at the most beautiful beach ... section of beruwela to bentota, where you after desire and mood under palms eat indoor or outside area take can. I can the ypsylon resort absolutely recommend and just say, if someone your vacation in Sri Lanka to spend, bay in the resort (no noise, no animation, no annoying beachboys etc.) Small but sweet read more

Who a hotel at the beach would like to, german food preferred, has no english knowledge, no animation and no music acoustic irradiation need, is in the right place here. For a connection with the outside world is a laptop required. The german manager is not on. read more

The Wye is a real surprise. If you have a pleasant value for money would like to experience, then you are here. Great beach, brilliant view, but also possibility for excursions either in the hotel or at the beach or before the türe offered! Relax, walks, diving, everything is possible here!

Staff super friendly and helpful. Minor drawbacks in the room, no AC. If you don't luxury needs, but rest and relaxation want is right at home here. Good Ayurveda area. Stay may also tours be suspended. read more

we had a beautiful comfort room direct view of the see, everything was perfect reasonable and very clean. Was sometimes to complain about, ants in the bathroom, was immediately reacted. read more

The Wye is a very recommendable small guest house/hotel, where we 2 weeks super felt at ease have.
we have a room with a view of the sea and breakfast booked.
Sufficient breakfast with coffee, tea, fresh fruit juices after election, jams and different egg dishes.
the guests come too many from Germany and Austria, we did some places met. The age structure rather from 40 to 45 years and older. read more

immediate on ocean located Inn, CIRCA 25 rooms, we had a fairly decent and clean room with enough room on the balcony-Gallery, no air-conditioner. Breakfast consisted of coffee or tea, 3 slices of toast per person, a little butter, jams and 2 eggs. Tools were at a charge zubestellbar. Too many older guests, lots of them Long term (up to 3 months) with appropriate ' Kleingärtnermentalität ' will say: it is a quite difficult, contact to this group to get. we stayed at the Ypsilon and the beginning and the end of our holiday in Sri Lanka. Ideal place to relax after your plane journey and to spend a few days getting into holiday mode. hotel situated right on the beach, walking distance to village,but food excellent in the hotel. Very quiet in the evening and would probably be good idea to maybe have a little music and for the bar to stay open later. All staff and management very friendly, helpful and efficient. we were now already for the third time in Sri Lanka on vacation and do not want in a large giant hotel there vacation. The Wye we had the last time we were discovered and it is perfect. Direct on the beach, you can't. especially every day directly on the Indian ocean to have breakfast is great. The staff are super friendly and fulfilled almost every wish. The beach section is wonderful and Traders, dealers. The breakfast and food in general very, very delicious and cheap (especially the cakes and the potato salad is great). The rooms are large, not ... luxury-design but comfortable, especially since all rooms have a direct view of the ocean and throughout the day ☺ the problem with the room and the kitchen is five (evaluations will always be pointed out). We had this room with air conditioning get. Was previously an air conditioning and thus created a hole in the wall in the direction of the kitchen, which makes the noise were. A new air conditioning is included when there is no hole more is a unit is outside and the other in the room and depends on the beach was nothing more to be heard and the air conditioning is much silent as the old. It was so everything was perfect in every way. In April we have already booked again with five people and look forward to a very relaxed vacation the has everything we need, nice people, great food, cheap, good location for excursions, long walks on the beach, wellness (in the hotel was very nice), with the water zone around, and so on. Thanks for the nice time in Wye, we will anytime again come. read more

the complex is for all age groups in the best way suitably, the large concrete avoid. the rooms are very comfortable, but modern furnished, the newer rooms offer even a touch of luxury. the breakfast is manageable, but very very tasty. thank god is the percentage of Eastern European Touristenschwemme here still no real Issue (hopefully it remains so). apart from that good mixed Gästeverhältis . The German Line (Dagmar) is noticeably, accordingly pleasant is the cleanliness and the service. read more

very large complex ( where else Concrete is possible ) with about 25 rooms on the ground floor and top the building is in good condition. The complex will constant kept clean. We had breakfast with bread, butter, jams, tea or coffee, juice or fruit and eggs to choice. Filter coffee or side dishes against small extra charge. Half board is possible.
for pre-season low occupancy; East Europeans were there, but are not noticeable been.

We had the bad luck to get a small old room! The mattress was not even 5 centimeter high... sleep without pain impossible! Furthermore, we had cockroaches in the room! Since many guests already at 6 o'clock 30 reserve the sun, are clearly too many pool chairs available! Regular guests would be favoured! The beach and ocean compensated but much! A real dream! read more

The ypsylon is rather a guest house and no hotel. However we have no hotel characteristics missed. The atmosphere was very informal and quiet. The rooms are very basic, but everything necessary is available and really important: it was always clean.

It is a good small guesthouse, under German management. The price/performance ratio is really excellent! If you stay for divers, as the hotel has with a diving base super staff. Excursions were organized on request directly from the hotel. In food and drinks is it a good mix of locals and German things!
