Hotel Cretan Malia Park^{(4 stars)}

Good size with tidy space, great facilities (good bed, a couch, a coffee table, a vanity with a kommodenbank, two wicker chairs, bedside tables). Fridge, kettle, cups, glasses available, a few frottierlatschen for the stay, a bathrobe per person, free beach towels, cotton balls, cotton swabs, shower gel, shampoo and body lotion available, you don't bring your own!

The quality of the food is super, everything was fresh. The restaurants are really clean, bekleckste tablecloths quickly replaced. Dinner international with a typical cretan bar. Breakfast is international with a typically english counter for everyone.

Staff is very friendly, many also spoke german. To declare a complaint stay always friendly and as quickly as possible the reason.

Daily program with gym, Boccia etc. , in the evening mini disco for the little ones. The pool was very clean, beach also garbage free.

The hotel is nice large and very well-kept, so that you within the complex a walk to do. Hotel-owned beach is not too big, but clean and you can also not a pool chair the hotel with to the beach take. The hotel is very umweltengagiert, is many cats, for mice and rattenplagen to avoid. You work with the tierschutzbund and leave their cats veterinary supply, there are also all neutered/spayed. There is a cat-café, in the cats feed must. (for non-cat lovers is this hotel not convenient, because these come the zimmerterrassen etc.!) The cleanliness in the zimmerbädern unfortunately leaves a very small little to be desired, so the missing 6. star. The most important thing will really cleaned daily (toilet seat, toilet-basin, vanity...) , but the mirror, cistern, toilet paper holder, door the shower etc. Unfortunately not. We personally didn't mind that so much, but the nearest is everyone else. We had the half board and were completely contented so that. The selection was varied, it tasted all super, everything was fresh. On request each desire was fulfilled, the as a part of the erfüllungsmöglichkeiten lag. All in all i can only recommend this hotel, we book it definitely stay there again!

The beach is right on the premises with a direct access, closer is not at all. Forward to the street out in the left direction 3 or 4 touristshops /supermarkets in few meters distance. Entertainment the hotel offers every night except saturday. We have the musical Grease, a dance show, best of 2012 of dances and a greek evening with a local volkstanzgruppe seen live. Except the folkoretanzgruppe have all the 5 entertainers and the very good. There were many possibilities from the TUI some, but unfortunately very expensive and there are still no admissions or food included in the price. I think, with a rental car one comes as it was cheaper. However, the kreten very stubborn, so overhaul before unreasonable curves or continuous double lines etc. There are normal.

Room well equipped and clean. We had a bungalow nearby the sea with a magnificent view. Nice, large room (junior suite) with king size bed, i had a bed with two single mattresses preferred. Very clean. Bathroom was relatively small, but ok, especially clean and functional well equipped.

Super many choice of meals. I would rather have less choice, but regionalere dishes preferred. Bread and dessert buffet amazing.

Lobby and bar, terraces and dining room very nice and modern. Rooms in the hotel may be noisy, as it was directly above the bar and lobby. (we had a bungalow) Finally a hotel, that the environment and the welfare of large place. The cats are neutered and fed, that if all feriendestinationen import. Great location, right next to the sea, with plenty of sun loungers. Especially the garden has plenty of shade. The pool is big enough to swim, the complex thoughtfully designed, the guests spread on the entire area. The food is separately arranged, thus the stay was very quiet. The evening entertainment was at 23 o'clock end

Rooms are large and clean. The bed was already a bit worn out and really modern the room was either.

For breakfast you get everything your heart desires, but you'll go out, you know what you like and every morning the usual tour along the buffets. The dinner offers more, that it constantly changing theme evenings there. Overall delicious food and basically clean... Would not the cats, the now and then the effrontery and the guests badger. If you something against cats (and many a time came a loose dog so) has, you should this hotel rather avoid.

The staff was always annoyed over, has sometimes but a smile of course. Staff speaks good german and english. The rooms were cleaned daily and also otherwise was on good advice reliable.

Every day there was a large entertainment program, the however also not mind, if you don't want. The pools are big and beautiful enough, a bit to swim. Unfortunately had the pool bars and the beach bar to the end of the season closed, which was somewhat annoying. So you had to the sea or pool approximately 300 meters to the main building walk, around a drink for occasionally to get.

A general very nice plant with bungalows (pool, garden and ocean view) and a lot of green and private beach. The main house is very decorated up to date and the location very quiet. In the nebensaion mostly from german guests in the middle to retirement age visited (main season supposedly also younger people).

Very peaceful location, great for relaxing. 15 minutes from Malia (and several restaurants and bars) away. Beach is right in front of the door.

Standard room -size: Is sufficient. Facilities. Spartan Condition. Not the newest. To the cleanliness is ok everything said

-number of restaurants: There is a main restaurant, a greek and Italian restaurant, as well as a beach bar, lobby bar and the pool bar. -quality and quantity of the dishes and drinks. The food in the main restaurant was' good ' and plentiful. However the selection leaves much to be desired. Just fish is per day only one type of offered. Prawns, squid, prawns or similar the whole week none. Long we have to repeat order from drinks during the meal waiting for. Of even took the waiters no orders more on, one had already noticeable make (perhaps lagst on all inclusive.?) The gourmets in selection to be desired. Also in the greek restaurant almost no fish... In the Italian restaurant the same. A pizza special was a pizzaviertel with salami and ham. The noodles with shrimps should rather hot ' noodles with a only shrimp at the top mood' -cleanliness and hygiene restaurants: Restaurant was clean. -cuisine: Mediterranean Atmosphere, tips, price. As described above was the staff in the restaurants a bad impression, especially in the greek restaurant. They are always different waiter service, so it is difficult tips to spread out. The prices are our opinion salted. Wheat beer for example 5,60 Euro/ 2,80 Euro in all-inclusive.

Friendliness of the staff. As described above we were all inclusive guests. Especially the older service staff made on us a very bad impression. Seemed unmotivated and annoyed. These showed especially at the assigned seats during dinner and receiving the order. ( a exception with the older staff stings however positively, but you will for a stay remember) From the younger staff we were positively surprised. The service always friendly and tried hard. The entertainers always in a good mood and motivated. -cleaning of the rooms: Ants and cockroach on room say it all! While the insects are have, can still happen, but if the cleaning staff carefully everywhere cleans, would especially the huge cockroach not overlooked may be. In addition details like water stains in the bathroom and so on but not worth mentioning. The insektenvorfall was right on the first day. From there you could on the cleaning no longer complain about. ( unless you are fussy and looks in all of the corners) Prom. Services. A doctor can be requested. Once was ers even at noon in the hotel. For children there was a small playground with care Teenagers to 18 have also the possibility a care. -dealing with complaints. Striking for us was the incident with the cockroach. Nevertheless that day of arrival and already 01:00 A. M. in the morning was one has tried for a escape to find. Reluctantly (so it seemed) we were for the first night a family suite at the sea. Since we could but not stay long. Altogether we are in one week 3 times moved. As compensation for the cockroach there was the entire vacation long available wi-fi the you pay must. Always an ear to lend the guest R. manager which speaks German flowing.

My lebensgefährting (26) and I (27) have the hotel in the short and offer and recommendation from the TUI-travel agency booked. Side in advance, that our review purely subjective runs. Everyone should its own opinion form and shortcomings mentioned above circumstances was different. Because we this year only a week time had, agreed we are on a short vacation for relaxing with all inclusive. We only paid about 1100 €per person with standard room. -hotel characteristics: The hotel is however not the newest, however nice and spacious. It has two respectively three pools. The on brochures shown photo with the pool and the akropolisartigen building is however our opinion not main pool. Our impression was, that this rather for the adjoining bungalows is intended. The hotel owns however many rooms, however was from the high number of guests didn't notice much. -guest structure: While we were there of the stay used different nationalities the offer from Malia park. Our impression was, that it especially Russian and british nationals were, the most guests counted, a few french, swiss and German. That already sometimes emerging prejudice on drinking and wantonly celebrating russians or English I can't share. All the guests were always friendly and a small talk is required. The average age of the guests ranged from middle 30 to the higher age. Children were always there, stayed but unnoticed. Younger couple as we, were rare.

-distance to the beach 7 next location/ flghfn : The hotel Malia park is on the edge of Malia right on the waterfront respectively so-called beach street and approximately 55 minutes by bus from Heraklion. At the hotel exit to the left you will find a few small supermarkets before after approximately 700 meters a sharp right-hand bend at the public beaches come. Comfortable and large beds, meaningful furniture. Sanitation but after greek standard. Wassersparmöglichkeiten is not yet exhausted. Otherwise consistent energy-saving measures. The mosquito protection is still expandable (there were bednets in). Room to the pool rather for unterhaltungsfreudige guests.

Everything was excellent! Varied tasty and wholesome. No fettküche! Also vegetarian selection. Much fruit and vegetables! Everything freshly and professionally prepared. The food presentation perfect! Service sometimes too abräumfreudig.

Very friendly and hard-working. Sufficient number of staff. Well excellent communication possibilities. Very positive was the towel service for the beach chairs! Possibility of cleaning for laundry, also souvenirs in the place! Thorough room cleaning. On customer requests received. The wi-fi should definitely be cheaper! The bags scales at the exit very good-but it costs 1 Euro per piece of luggage! Very thoughtful hotelorganisation.

The pools are excellent, spacious and always clean. Sports available (gym and Tennis). The bikes should be cheaper for. The evening entertainment we found somewhat plentiful. Less would be more!

Very well maintained facilities, extremely imaginative planned (much praise goes to the architect/inside!). Overall a well feeling oasis with an emphasis on environmental protection.

Directly on a clean beach-medium distance to the airport, so no aircraft noise disturbance, but also no endless prior. Excursion possibilities, individually or organized, are given. Small shops easy to reach on foot. Unfortunately, the cretan with your landscape still much too careless to (trash on the roadside, half finished or abandoned building, straßenschneisen ).

Here the hotel of us a rather poor review. We were in the main building accommodated ( room 136), this room it was not really nice. We think so 80. Years. Although clean, but old. The mattresses were very worn. The generator ran on the doorstep and they were for the hotel were in the morning delivered. If you book you should be a few euros more and look a bungalow in pool- or gartennähe get. Balcony was available but it was nothing special inviting, the view was not on the sea and the pool area was only with a lot of effort to see. Our travel agency had the hotel management a quiet, beautiful room asked, since we our honeymoon made. The hotel manager promised in the response to the request of travel agencies after them. If 136 a quiet beautiful room was, then this is probably a little what went wrong, unfortunately. Since we our honeymoon nevertheless wanted to enjoy, we did on a complaint. The food and the quality of the dishes were good. Every two days there was a theme night. It was missing in our opinion fresh fish ( seafood), which in the great country the problem should be. Also the greek food was not so great, that most get our' frankish greek' a bit better back. The buffet had could have done calmly still a bit more local must. It lacked the food was the seasoning, so that the salt scatterer a good friend in the eleven days of vacation was. We were frohl booked all inclusive to, the prices in the restaurant and bar area were genuinely not without.

The staff were the mostly friendly. In the restaurant area were the waiters sometimes a little gene ffs, so we had the feeling. Should be emphasized Y. the evenings in the bar area the head waiter was. He gave so much joie de vivre, friendliness and also greek hospitality, had always a smile and a fun ready, thick praise great! Cleaning of the rooms was ok. The hair in the sewage were however also not away. Since we the room not complained, we can not say as with criticism dealt would be.

Pool was wonderful and in particular very clean. The garden was perfectly maintained, you would think you could be in paradise :-). On the beach, there was enough sunbeds. The water temperature was stable at 25 C degrees. Snorkeling you could but so lots to see there was not. There was a soft animation which we however didn't bother us, since we rather our peace we wanted. Evenings irritating a little the shows. It would be nice if there was a 2. Bar area would give a little quiet is, as we wanted to evenings a little play.

The hotel enjoys great complex. Cleanliness was no reason to complain. All inclusive is unsereserachtens recommendable and adds up. There was lots of Russian guests the however nothing special large noticeable. Very should be emphasized, that the hotel not a big hotel bunkers is, but a bungalows cultivated complex.

There is in Kreta more beautiful corners the Malia, that was before the trip so aware. Malia is rather the dining the island however the hotel was also around 20 to 30 minutes on foot away, so that one does not receive much of which could be heard. The beach closes directly at the hotel at.

Our room with a pool view was big enough; tiled floor, bath tub with dividing window as shower to use, fridge free of charge, safe free of charge, kettle and daily instant coffee/tea making facilities. Our room was already getting old, but clean and without any drawbacks. There are already modernized room.

We have without exception the main restaurant used. ( half board). The offer of Italian and the greek restaurants didn't really convince us. The food variety in the main restaurant was altogether good to very good, the theme evenings a loosening of the offer. To fresh fish ( gilthead) from the grill to enjoy, we have twice the ' kretan family' visited, clearly there are relations with the few fishermen in the town. This was in the hotel not offered. Pricing with the drinks as in all of us so far known greek hotels only one: disproportionately. A bottle of warm ' alpha beer' for dinner to 4,10 Euro we only once afforded. Otherwise only one bottle (0.7 liter ) mineral water to high 3,20 Euro. 7,80 Euro for a modest cocktail at the bar of unfriendly barkeeper was not suitable, the evening to spend in the hotel.

The staff were basically friendly, but if you like we the early mostly at: hours for breakfast old, was in the majority of the staff not a lot of service and friendliness to feel. ( morgenmuffel?) There are no language problems. Cleaning of the rooms was more than fine, except some tiny ants we had despite ebenerdigem room with view to the pool no other bugs.

The entertainment team was very nice, friendly and lively. The performances in the evening we spared outself. Pools and beach very good; enough beach chairs, cushions and towels and everything without fee. Unfortunately has the joint use by guests the neighboring hotels run, here would be more control appropriate.

Altogether a very nice hotel complex. Quiet and well kept (with exception at bio -garden, a junkyard old outdated loungers.). Access to the beach through the already described sandaufschüttung reasonable. We had the for our stay 2007 have experienced worse breakfasts. We had a room with a pool view. The room was simple furnished, but apart from that oK (clean, etc.) , but you have to say, that you with two people in the bathroom was a bit problems get (and we are both with a bmi in the normal area). The mattress was very hard, on request was however a softer edition stituents.

We booked half board. The breakfast has a normal good choice ( however almost no variation from day to day and also no 4 stars quality) even if some spezialsachen (shakes and greek coffee) later (from 8.30 ) available are, even if the breakfast already around 7.30 begins. What I in the morning, the one negative was, is, that the people little attentive were, if new guests and you have to coffee had to wait, if you are not even on the own coffee machines with Cappuccino plus,.

The service varied very strong after persons. Some were very friendly and attentive, some one has rather a sense of indifference.

The beach is well taken care of, fine sandy and one got also still two loungers. The hotel is very well-kept, nice and above all very green and because of the many plants very colorful. The hotel is in a very good location. The hotel you can good from the airport in Heraklion is (~20 minute taxi ride). Malia you can go there on foot (~15-20 minutes), you can, but I only recommend conditionally, as populated by especially English twens. A bus runs weekdays from the hotel daily to Heraklion (3.80/ 3,90 Euro), from Malia even is one every day ( probably similar price, never used).

Our room was nice, we had no complaint. The bathroom was a bit small, but well, is in such countries normal. I can't assume, that I am a huge bathroom get. From space reasons also not. Our bathroom was always cleaned well, under the beds but you should not look, because lost rarely a broom. The air conditioning was controlled centrally. The temperature enough, I found it ok. So you are not into temptation, the room down to cool and then become ill. For sleeping was me not too loud, thus was the night pleasant. Respectively somewhat pleasant as in Germany. Size of the room was great, closets were sufficiently available, capacity also. But we had two rooms with two closets, two balcony. The only fault, what I can say, were the beds. They were extremely hard. I am glad, now again my own to have, because my cross and my halswirbelsäule found the 10 nights a pain. But only because of the bed!

The food in the restaurant was versatile and diverse. If someone complains, the side dishes are too few, I am not sure, but there is other side dishes except for rice, pasta, potatoes in all variations? From the vegetables was also right a lot of variation offered. Everything was great. But may be a bit more selection at the beach bar his. There are only toast and donuts It was very clean and also at the buffet was again and again refilled and cleaned

Both at the beach bar, thanks goirgis, thanks zuzanne, and in the main restaurant, thanks dimitrin and Hermann, everything was perfect. The service worked great. We have no difference noticed, although we all inclusive had. We were exactly treated, as all half board guests. Positive factor of the whole story, we had no bracelet!

The beach was beautiful and maintained, respect, since this week (19,8-21,8) are again the rocks visible! Risk of injury! The beach was refilled, but this week was of saturday evening until including thursday red flag and a decent surf, the entire sand in, which was also supervised because worn. But if you are more the left, you can get around without rock and rocks purely. The pool is nice and the artificial river is very beautifully built. The water is but sometimes very warm. Between 27 to 30 degrees! The sun loungers were sufficiently available, shade abundant. On the lawn one had even cushions on the chairs. To the sport, is I think, for the entertainment difficult. Because I myself much sport make, it brought me nothing, therefore preferred the couch. But they tried hard. The kids club was ok. At least came from my short (7 and 10) no complaints. But giulia made also everything, what the kids wanted. There were only a couple since, in the club came. As mentioned, my went gladly back.

The hotel is rather small and no fortress of loungers. We had a family room, that means, a bungalow with two rooms through a connecting door were connected. We had all-inclusive and would at any time in this hotel recommend. It is clear, some services not to 100% of the all inclusive covered, but it was ok. You will have to pay an amount on it. Was not an issue for us. The types of people were we mixed. French, dutch, German, austrians, a few stray ukranian and some englishmen. However everything was ok. Not much from the framework.

For someone, the peace searches, ideally, if you want to party, must be a ) either to to Malia walk in, one creates but in 15 minutes, there is pure party, or b) a another hotel take. We found the peace and quiet than great. There is a neighboring hotel, from there came again and again musikfetzen over. Our room was with the windows to the neighboring hotel, but a) was also there at 0 hours end and b) if you the windows to power, one hears anyway nothing more. From the hotel you are within a couple of minutes with the hired car on the 'highway'. Within 30 minutes in Heraklion and in 2 hours in Chania. Also one is in a half hour in iapetra or good 2 hours at the palm beach in vai! But be careful, the way of sitra after vai is very winding. But the view is fantastic

We had a family suite in the bungalow. The were 2 room with connecting door, so we had absolutely lots of space and what great was 2 bathrooms. Such a luxury we have never had. The rooms are bright and friendly equipped and something to mention. One has many hooks and hooks to hang stuff on. Actually I don't like room on the ground floor, as the patio door not au can. Here is the possibility a shutter preferable, you locked. The rooms were always perfectly cleaned.

The food was magnificent. Especially the typical local dishes ( extra corner in the restaurant) are delicious. The selection was not too big, however absolutely sufficient and it was always in top quality. Often less better. Meat and fish was always freshly prepared. The bread for breakfast tasted very good for southern standards. The desserts buffet many criticized I found it great, because it was a typical greek. The tables were always quickly cleared and it was clean. The prices a drink were a bit high, therefore is all inclusive recommendable, but some drinks somewhat on figures must, despite all inclusive.

The staff are very friendly, have always a smile in the face. To mention is jannis, the head waiter in the bar, the always in a good mood, singing served. The rooms are perfectly cleaned. The entertainment team is very hard and not pushy, it has however difficult, since the guests in the hotel rather no animation want.

As I have already mentioned the free time activities were rather discrete, but you nevertheless possibilities. Great was, that the access to the internet extra costs and therefore you have no children with I-phones or I pads seen. The beach is beautiful, the two pool super, especially the riverpool is completely quiet. Wether beach or pool or lawn protected from, everywhere you will find super comfortable loungers with cushions and places in the shade.

Very well maintained facilities, great trees with a lot of shaded spots. No matter what time of day, there is always vacant chairs. The two pools are very nice and never crowded. Directly behind the beach is a massive lawn, with great comfortable loungers. Itself at the beach you will find free chairs. Great is, that you always in the open can sit. Also to eat one always finds a terrassenplatz.

The hotel lies on foot far away from the place. On foot you need 20 minutes. However it is for those seeking tranquillity perfect. Malia is a typical tourist place, for the eye not so nice, but with lots of bars and shops. Recommendable is Sissi, the by car approximately 15 minutes out is. Here you can evenings nice at the water front sit. The beach is well maintained, in the water with rocks, but there are places, where you into the water can walk to.
