The hotel is completely enough for a new York stay. The check in was ok, the employees very pleasant, we had to however at 15:30 o'clock good 45 minutes to wait, until our room was ready. It is advisable, a room to the backyard to take, the to the street are quite loud, because the hotel in the access area to Holland tunnel is here always a massive traffic prevails. Unfortunately we had also the luck, that just before our room the ice machine was, but thank god from 21 to 6 o'clock be cut off. The room was ... not big, except for the bed there was a armchair and a chair as seating possibility. The closet has plenty of storage space, free safe in the closet. Air conditioning was good to adjust. As always in USA the king bed only one big blanket.
Breakfast was for american standards quite good with bagels station and waffle station, 3 different kinds of 'coffee' ( defined yes as everyone else.-) ), however all with disposable crockery, speaks paper plates, paper cups and plastic cutlery.
Which us unfortunately also noticed, that the roof in the conservatory not close, when a rainstorm it rained purely.
Late check in until 12 o'clock, but you could store your luggage safely. read more

Price/performance ratio completely OK!

For a hotel in New York the Hampton Inn has a sufficient price/performance ratio, the award of the 'sunset', of course, the current situation in New York and is not comparable to that of a hotel in Egypt or Turkey.-)The room including the bathroom a good size for NY.
Breakfast was in our opinion for NY (usually the hotels are without breakfast) very good. The room was cleaned partly a bit superficial.
About 3-4 minutes away from the subway/train station Canal Street from which you both toward the south ferry, so financial district and Times square North or Central ... park. In about ten minutes walk one was in Chinatown.
For a city trip to New York the Hampton inn is absolutely OK! You should not miss a U-in itinerary! read more

The hotel has by price / performance absolutely satisfied! A very well located hotel, with great rooms, you will find for the price in Manhattan difficult. When we arrived our room was not ready, but put the bags in the hotel and checked in. From the roof terrace has a good view to New Jersey, and also to Manhattan. Very nice place to start the day, if you get up early because of the jet lag is, or enjoy the lights in the evening. I would reccomend this hotel any time and again. read more
