Idyllic isolated hotel with upscale kitchen!

Wonderful quaint hotel with amazing service and first-class, upper class kitchen!
The remote location (10 kilometer away in the mountains the small town of poppi) guaranteed peace and relaxation.
The traffic connections and shops are because of the location limited.
With 45 to 60 minutes travel time on mountain roads respectively landesstraßen is to be expected, if you want the cities of arezzo respectively Florence visit.
Really recommendable for all, the peace and quiet and Italy relaxation with upscale kitchen to enjoy want! read more

The hotel has not too many rooms, so there is usually peace. Bookable is everything from breakfast over half-and full board. Generally is the hotel visited by italians and the only daily basis. The average age was 40 +. The complex is really well maintained and you can photos on the internet trust. read more

Very pleasant atmosphere; very friendly staff, especially Signor Luigi and Signora 'luig IANA'. However, it should not be forgotten, the Signora 'Pulire' and the 'Baroni moglie includo la' itself. We had a nice stay presso 'I Tre Baroni', were very pleased and would recommend this hotel with great pleasure. Manfred E. read more

Hotel sits on steep hillside. No rooms without stairs to the reception/restaurant etc. available slope with about 25% gap/slope. Not suitable for handicapped guests. Distance about 100 kilometer, for example Florence or shorter on various mountains.
No 4 star hotel, not more than three stars read more

We book an holiday by Lidl, for the first time, because price was very cheap, and I'm sure to book another holiday at The 3 Barons in 2011.
Our stay was simply perfect and all the staff was helpufl and friendly. Marta and Andrea at reception gave us all info that we needed for trekking, excursion, transfer. They want the best for the guest, and it's sound good.
The restaurant is recommended by Michelin guide and we had different menu for 4 dinners, with special Tuscan wines recommended by Andrea and Luigi (the maitre). The atmosphere was so romantik and ... our stay in the restaurant was so good. to remember. we want to try it again. Pool is gorgeous with a stunning view and very, very clean.
Our room was number 206: excellent view on valley, good size, TV sat (not so many channel) and large bathroom.
Our stay with my child and my housband was simply perfect, for a wonderful tuscan experience. I think Lidl is perfect for holiday and I'll book another holiday by them.

We agree with the two predecessors. This hotel is lidl travellers total unsuitable. Staff was rude and arrogant people were treated like third class (really derogatory). Staff speaks only English or Italian, a word of German. Hotel is located total secluded on the mountain. For excursions in the towns such as pisa and siena much too far away located. The pool was closed. We loved it not, also went out to eat. We broke our trip from early. read more

You did notice clearly, that ' cheap tourists' for example by lidl are undesirable. The welcome champagne on the first evening in cheap glasses served. 'right' for guests in a refined sektgläsern.
On the second evening and the leftovers from the first night (beef in stripes on spinach) served (the same in dough wrapped. And salty). Other lidl-passengers have the food back and have, since in the village for dinner one night and breakfast. At the Breakfast is only the first cappuccino free. The rest had to be paid. Filter coffee is available at the buffet in the flask (it ... was a but not, not, if the second Filerkaffee and therefore must be paid. Very user friendly!). All in all, we must not stay. The Only Consolation. We had super nice other guests. 'older' a German couple. A Dutch couple and an austrian couple, with whom we have understood us well and the us for further travel tips given have. Without this it would be really a three couples total Let Down former. read more

I was as a single total feel lonely. Sat at a table.
Hardly any other singles in (50 years) my age. Possibilities for excursions only with private car. In the toscana much too far to drive as hotel is tucked away in the mountains.
Owner was rude and arrogant. No welcome drinks, no buffet, there was not enough and not particularly. Wines expensive and only available in bottles from 22 euro.
no guided tours possible, as in the lidl brochure said.
During the day there was no possibility to rent a snack, ice cream or similar to buy.
Location on ... the mountain, steep, remote, beautiful view, but that's all.
Not recommended. read more
