People! Please rather spend a little more money, than in this hotel was pretty good! This hotel deserves with 100% sieherheit no 3 stars! ' Double room ' for a family with two children 13 and 10 years 5 time 3 metres with 4 beds, unacceptable! Schimmelgestang in the closets and also the air conditioning, the mattresses after bierschweiß Disgusting smell! Roaches and ants were in the room with us! Bed bugs have our children each night attacked, the food was always the same, especially the plates and glasses were always dirty, it is not a joke! Leftovers almost every ... plate below to find! We were often in Bulgaria in 3 star hotels, but this is the first time that we got. The pool looks nice in the pictures from, is but always dirty, the tiles were partly loose or gone, everywhere at the pool and in the area of the snack bars were holes and stolperfallen, my son even on foot verlezt! Most of the guests come from ukraina belarus Poland and rümänien and most have no manners! So no place for civilized german tourists! read hotel review

Were in August 2012 for 15 days in the hotel Magnolia. The reviews I had only after the booking read and that's why slightly worried. But were pleasantly surprised! The hotel complex itself is very big and somewhat older. Nevertheless not neglected. The staff, specially the front desk in any case friendly and helpful. They spoke partly somewhat German, but with English you in any case further. We had 1 Familienz 8 always, but for 4 people way too small is. Well, we were your own fault. Cleaned daily, the towels also changed daily. What was not so ' Brüller'war ..., is the food. The restaurant and also the only is huge and has cafeteria atmosphere. At peak times, extremely crowded. Cleared the tables, but unfortunately not cleaned. In the pool area also is very big, much value on Sasuberkeit put. Chairs and umbrellas were our time of vacation in any case available, Little German guests, many Bulgarians and romanians. For children special family hotel, a lot animation, but not pushy. read hotel review

We spend our vacation in Albena for a second year. We change hotel for variety. Last year - hotel "Orchideya", this year - "Magnolia". The swimming pool of "Magnolia" is very good. There is variety of food and drinks in restaurant. The beach in Albena is incredible, fine sand, cleanly sea. I don't like insufficiently lighting at pedestrian alley in Albena resort. The stairs from hotels at park to beach have to be repaired. read hotel review

Vacation was great if you just want to party and the hotel is for children (animation) good entertainment. Staff speaks little English and could not deal with the complaint than 30 minutes before departure of a power failure we were not considered large, craftsman came when we checked out (which we did not have been told) .food was good in the East villas should possibly be repaired. otherwise, some things were okay. read hotel review

    Very quiet location, short walk to Centrum,. There was also very nice trolley for a few cents. Only the beach was a little far and all-inclusive it on the beach. You have to pay for. Beach chairs and umbrellas are free, though.

The hotel is located in a unkempt gardens and consists of two buildings with about 200 rooms. Overall it is a messy condition and the cleanliness in all areas leaves a lot to be desired. There were mainly Eastern Europeans under the hotel guests of all ages. read hotel review

    Thick joints in the bathroom were completely covered in mold. Also on the shower curtain were clear mold suitable for use. It did not have a power outlet in the bathroom. In the toilet yellow, disgusting lime and Urinreste. The mirror full of spots. The rooms/bathrooms were not cleaned daily, the trash not emptied daily, the balcony never and not been cleaned in a long time, as well as the balcony furniture. The beds were not made every day. When you move into the room was not flush all right, the water while flushing syringe against the wall, we complained about that at the reception did however, I was until it was time to head home were made, the floor was always wet. Once after returning from a trip the used toilet brush in hand, had the Reinigungstrupp forget. We complained about it at the reception so they sent a cleaning lady, the sink then before my eyes!!!!!!!!! With this used toilet brush cleaning ... this was the most disgusting thing we have ever happened. From the hotel depended not even an apology.

    The hotel features a lobby bar, a pool bar and a restaurant. The hot food was always cold, there was always the same food, no diversity. The tables and chairs were on the change of guests never cleaned. Everything was dirty, before we sat down you had to table and chair cleaning. The floor in the winter garden restaurant was covered in The food leftovers and sticky. I've had in a long time the window frames were cleaned, dust and spider webs. The dishes, glasses and cutlery you had to look at usually clean. The pool bar was also in a very dirty and unkempt condition. There were never cleaned the tables and chairs and all food left overs were on the floor.

    The beach and the sea were very nice. Beach chairs and umbrellas are free. mats cost. The pool had about 23°. The waterfall next to the slide was totally were decorated with green algae. Free beach chair and an umbrella also here.

    To the beach and to get to the town is about 850 meters. There is a shuttle bus commuted from 0930 until about 5 pm just right in front of the hotel. To the airport it was about 40 minutes. There are shopping opportunities in Albena or in Varna sufficiently.

The hotel was rather disappointing in some area's but would say that the pool complex was good but very busy & very noisey that said it was school holidays, but the most disappointing thing was the food, it may be catering for Eastern Europe in particular, but it was of a very poor standard, the choice was not great, OK if you liked sausages as these were available at all meals, it was sometimes difficult to find a table in the dining rooms & beware that it seemed that everybody smoked!! through all meals. As for the area, this was ... good, it was a walk to the beach but good exercise, the beach was super, sand lovely & the Black Sea was clear & warm, could not be faulted, although the thunderstorms do roll in quickly, quite spectacular. If you want to enjoy the beach this is the area to try, hotel, well you may be luckier. read hotel review

the bathroom in the double room was not cleaned at all 14 days. The condition of the restaurants was very bad. Tables broken and cleaning the tables and change of linen was done by the guests. The dishes were dirty or wet. The front desk veresteht no German and very bad English the German guests were ignored. Not a hotel for German guests, unfortunately this was not been reported (mostly guests from Romania and Russia). read hotel review

the biggest problem was the friendliness of the front desk, the cleanliness in the restaurant and the daily cold food. As only Romanian, Bulgarian and Russian spoken we had no chance, by Rep ask why we were here again, German are not desirable. The hotel has room ca.200, during our stay, there were three rooms with German tourists occupied-never again Bulgaria/Albena. read hotel review

The hotel apparently were quite nice and also in German, English, French vacationers. But now the impression, no longer wanted to be. Language barrier, Child policy at the back of the complex, where the service even worse work already was. Russians, Romanians, and Bulgarians is probably the guests, which specializes in the hotel and also farther. Relaxation was zero - we had never been anywhere that end eagerly awaited! I have been told that this hotel there 2 years ago was very much in order to, we had booked. But now it is, at least, not suitable for German tourists. ... Now only Russians, Romanians, and Bulgarians finding also on the whole resort Albena or depressions. read hotel review

    - UNACCEPTABLE condition hygienic conditions (cleaning left a lot to be desired! Floor was but not swept… All types of spots, and mold on walls and floors, always again thick cobwebs, dust layer in the closet, and on the furniture, brown water, blood stain on bedding!) - bugs found - bathroom patched up a lot ( with other tiles, Bauschaum -> not very inviting) - toilet lid / glasses only sometimes attached - 3 days no cold air

    The food was always cold and therefore almost inedible! Meat was scarce, except chicken. But it was always the same. Fish was absolutely unenjoyable. since it's fully with bones. leftovers from the day before were re-used for the next day, for example brussel sprouts with onions for breakfast! - "lecker" ... The tables were very slow and not carefully cleared and cleaned. Mostly had to be added them yourself.

    Very rude. You had the impression that it the staff not interested, if any problems. You yourself as good as never bugs / problems fixed vigorously - only after complaining. You also wanted nothing understood as soon as there were problems ... Was very surprised about this mentality the Bulgarians. Friendliness they seem hard to know, at least the guests. As a German we get the impression, no longer wanted to be.

    The activity staff gave their best and were also very nice, friendly and tried hard. They were the only bright spot in the whole "service"! The pool was the best part of the whole hotel! The lifeguard was very nice and accomodating.

    The location of the hotel is fine. Somewhat higher in a forest located steps (a bit, but doable ;-) can then beach, restaurants, bars, shopping etc. could be reached. For somewhat Fauleren runs regularly a trolley (fee).

Positive: Friendly staff, the property is fine, the entertainment really great) The beach is well maintained and a beautiful sea is there, the massages which offered in the hotel to be visited I made Rückentherapie since my stiff leave and so I cannot even better stay in my life, and start the rates are really cheap. The room is nicely furnished with you at this hotel if you leave it great shopping for example the evening before the go to sleep a little shopping tour nor turn!! Negative: The food was unfortunately not gut.es labeled is nothing but ... that's about it otherwise there is not one complaint about this hotel! Rgds satisfied customer) read hotel review

    To the beach it was about 7gehminuten which isn't too bad and you had great shopping just the airport is about 1 1/2 hours away by car

Myself, my husband and two other couples have just returned back from a week's stay at the Hotel Magnolia in Albena. I found this hotel through 1500 hotels and was delighted with it. All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much for them. When we arrived we were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who booked us into our rooms. We arrived early from the airport but the rooms were ready so we were able to check in. They put us in three rooms next to each other as we had requested that. The rooms were very ... clean and spacious with a TV and toiletories supplied. They had a wide range of food for breakfast in the restourant like ham, cheese, yougarts, juices, cereals, several types of breads, croisants, fresh fruit and boiled eggs one morning and scrambled eggs the next. Very very nice pool. I wish I had made pictures there. The hotel was in a great location and only about a ten minute walk to the main street (the Centre) and 15 minute to the beach. Our room was cleaned every day. There is a tag on the inside of the door and if you hang this on the door the room will be cleaned. There is one lift which takes you easy to each floor. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at the hotel Magnolia and would not hesitate in recommending it. read hotel review

lovingly neat hotel area with quite low buildings. From 1.85 meters you have to move from and to the head a bit. Daily room cleaning, if necessary. Rich buffets, very good meals at "all inclusive". You like always for improvements, but overall good accomodations and care. West and East European guests, you could have been German from some expectations. May be due to the size and partly missing knowledge of German friendliness sometimes may be a short. read hotel review

    My SENSATIONS after it was a normal hotel room. That German television available was, I thought that was a pleasant. catching in beautiful and well-kept garden. Stayed but rarely in the room (what for?) and used the room "normal". Negative point was that we witnessed on 2 days, that there is a problem with water for the hotel. Some guests probably was missing in the morning the water complete, by and smelled it "only". But that's not the fault of the hotel.

    My first "all inclusive" holiday and I loved it. Absolutely pleasant and good supply of food and beverage. Ample and delicious food selection. Only at some of the offered late riser breakfast after 10 hours (until 11 hours) it's like the clean-up than inconvienience hinder have already started.

    You're not in Germany and possibly due to the language is not a totally a friendly, welcoming encounter with the staff. But it is always there to help you.

    And again I use the word "lovingly". Especially the evening shows on the stage (have seen 2 shows) were very entertaining. Activities the entertainers/-inside rich and good. Rich offer, but we won't necessarily sports activities were interested in. The standards of catering ,housekeeping-spot on the beach (food and beverage > S. O. ) was very pleasant!

    Pleasant proximity to the beach. Very good alternative offer in the hotel with swimming pool from house 2 available (for all). The pool from House 1 wasn't so exciting. By road construction that is the Golden Sands 3 to 4 km away (I wouldn't use beach in the strict sense; is rather a large hustle with Ferris wheel and qualifying shops) is currently only about detour to reach. About 20 minutes bus ride and 1.60 leva per person per drive. Cheap and a good service. After 23 hours back only with taxi. Price: 10-15 lev, with increase 20 leva.

    The rooms and the beds were very clean and every day well maintained. Hand towels replaced every 3. days (as at home one also does not change them every day). The only deficit is that the rooms are very clairaudient and one heard the cleaning ladies the whole day shouting in the corridor.

    The restaurant is great for those who like to enjoy the “Best of Whitney Houston” cranked up in the mornings, at noon and during the evenings. One can only dissuade others. We sat outside when it was only 17 grad as the noise inside the restaurant was intolerable. The food was always cold and it hardly varied. 10 min. waiting lines at the hotel bar. When one came by the “bar” in the morning, everything, such as dirty glasses, were still there from the night before (bugs included)

    The hotel is located above the city center, however it is accessible in 10 minutes over a stairway ( 170 steps from which approximately half of them are half broken). Nothing is however going on there in September.
