The Hotel Philoxenia is a smaller, cozy hotel in psacoudia in traktbauweise with courtyards and lush greenery. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had half board booked, what for me more than enough was. The dishes were mostly greek. Kitchen. The salad buffet was always fresh, plentiful and very tasty. The audience was initially (sept. Mixed and at the end (october) mostly eastern european (romanians). This led to no excesses or damage the atmosphere. For me was only be a problem, that the hotel the drinks were not on the room number write leaves with the possibility the ... total price of the reservation with departure by mc to pay. The mc was however everywhere on the chalkidiki not as zahlunsmittel card accepted. Fortunately, you at the atm with the EC- card cash withdrawals. The region urgent need of improvement. read more

    My room was a double room for single use with a fridge, air conditioning and flat screen tv. Also a balcony with furniture was available. The furniture is surely already somewhat older, but nevertheless functional and clean. In the closet were a little bit fitted floor available. The cleanliness was good. Every day was the room and the bathroom mopped. The towel was in 11 days about 4 times changed, the sheets as well.

    Who is noise sensitive should in the hotel no room at the b-wing book, because the highway relatively close round. The beach is in walking distance, the water crystal clear. There are hardly any waves and i (about 1.8 meters) could etwa60 -70 meters into the sea go, until i the water to the hip was enough. Landscaped bungalow area. The bungalows, even blocks syndromal well distributed over the complex. Next to the hotel unfortunately is an unfinished building, not at the end of was built. The hotel is situated in a pine forest with many squirrels. The rooms are tight (we were with 3 people) with extra bed. Bathroom small, but functional. However the floor was a bit crooked and therefore after showering in a corner a puddle, the also from the cleaners not removed. Unpleasant when you every time the feet wet if you are in the bathroom was. The food(half board) was initially very ... modest in taste. We booked this but later on the bulgarian and romanian guests (only women) back run, the dining room have plundered. Obnoxious treatment behavior. Totally decadent and impeccably, these dressed as in the brothel. We stayed the food stops, if we have prevented arrived. The ladies have cramped and were then immediately disappeared. Then you could finally in peace eat. After check out this tasted the food then also very tasty and diverse. Only, we missed fresh fruits like for instance melon or for breakfast sometimes scrambled eggs. Conclusion: Hotel area alright, if no romanians, and bulgarians there read more

    The rooms are functional. Rather small, but with a balcony. Best location is block d (view of the sea) and block c (a view to the forest) the blocks directly at the front desk are not as nice. There is also the road. There is a small fridge in the room. The is really practical for a little self-catering.

    There's a restaurant (breakfast and dinner) . By the pool there is a bar, also in the evening was open, but with not so high motivated staff (we were also in the end of the season in the hotel) so understandable. Drinks ok. Cocktails isn't recommendable. We have a try, the cost 7 €, served in small glass with lots of ice. I would therefore also a water can order. The food in the restaurant was then as mentioned after departure of Bulgaria good. Desserts could have been a bit loving be arranged. The chairs in the restaurant is not appealing but easy to work with. Just not greek. Atmosphere could be with a little greek music pleasant decorated. The prices a drink are upscale. But would be okay, if you're in the right glass for drinks gift and no einheitsgläser. Conclusion: Food good in terms of taste, ambience could be better.

    The staff is partly bulgarian nature, what a surprise. You missed a bit the greek flair. The lady at the reception was very inflexible. Staff overall was friendly. The cleaning of the rooms was mediocre. The wet floor in the bathroom was disturbing. The room was simple furnished but okay. You're almost only for sleeping there.

    No animation, we didn't want to. Internet by the pool free. The pool has gotten old but clean. At the beach there are some taverns. The is recommendable, if you want to eat. Rates were rather cheap. Wine delicious. Also delicious is the tziporo. ( obstschnaps with Ouzo). The beach is very beautiful. We were in october and had it almost just for us. Water still 25 degrees and crystal clear. Unfortunately we had a few jellyfish, the probably always at the end of august arise. But there were still many other bays where are not.

    From the airport in thessalonikki you drive an hour by bus. Roads are okay. The hotel is very centrally located between the two fingers. However i would recommend to rent a car. Best durekt in psakoudia at the beach. This is also cheaper, than before from Germany and completely problem-free. To rent directly at the beach over the tavern to kyma or at the edge with valantis. (belong together). From the hotel to the beach there are three possibilities. The paths are not attached, which actually not a problem represents. Recommendable is but for a flashlight, so that you came back. Supermarket directly at the beach or at the end of the town (about 10 minutes) From the hotel by car the sithonia explore. Great. Vourvourou ( karidi beach) great!

    The staff in the restaurant and in the lobby were friendly. Good knowledge of foreign languages available. The cleaning of the rooms was fine. Unfortunately, i had to say, that a clock and a few earrings lost! The woman at the front desk sent me an elder cleaning lady to finding things in my room. Previously had a younger woman the rooms cleaned. On the disappearance of my things i got only said, i probably bathing would have lost, or it might be in Germany forgotten. Since i am not for fools and know exactly, which in my luggage was, it was doubly frustrating for me i say something like this to leave. Also i have the baden no jewelry. In the room there was no safe! This hotel i can therefore any guest recommend!

We had a family room in the house F, rooms were more than adequate equipped; location the room itself not optimal, as it is very nearby on the main street, therefore very noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although they were cleaned every day, however not really thoroughly, towel exchange was every 3 days - but perfectly adequate! Location of the hotel was rather recommendable, if you with a car on the way is, since hardly public transportation go ( respectively very infrequent). Because we outside of the season drove, were the shops on the beach promenade only partially open. ... Offer in the supermarkets very good. Canvas chairs at the beach we nearby café Alexandra used, the were free, if you drinks ordered. read more

    Size of the rooms ( family room) - here bedroom, a smaller room was perfect. The furniture was perfectly adequate, as you are almost only outside can hang out. Hair dryer is included, fridge in smaller room available - there is caution, fridge is not always included, for use so ask! Air conditioning we did not have to use, use costs extra. Complex itself seemed well maintained, except for a few corners.

Unfortunately is nowhere a instruction to, that eggs ( in all variants - so mirror-/ scrambled egg or cooked ) for breakfast order can, to find. The random out and then efficient use. Beware: not included in the price, eggs costs extra! Dinner was against really varied and something there for everyone. Salad bar with a good choice, however in the 1 week only 2 times Tzatziki, I would have more often desired. Price for beverages in the evening are ok, not overpriced.

    The staff were mostly very friendly, the front desk clerk may friendly and competent are. With English (and also German) one always got ahead. Playground for children is available, however rather small and efficient 'played'. The pool area is very nice and clean, however is the everyday music-speaker sounds on duration quite strenuous.

    In the late season no animation or theme nights, a great shame! Thus one could have certainly still more ' residents' attracted, for children there is really very little variety. By the pool enough chairs and sun screens free, at the beach partly at a charge, if you really look at, is it loungers in vain against drinks. Access to the internet by the pool free, apart from that really expensive! 15 minutes cost reception area 1 Euro so there is an laptop with access to the internet recommendable! Quality of the water is amazing, really clear, great water, beach/ sand was ok.

    Distance to the beach optimal, either to reach over a flight of stairs or a path through. Excursions were offered with the tour operator (with us tjaereborg ), price I found overpriced. Recommendable are the caves of petralona, the market emerged however as market rather for locals. Distance to the airport is about 1 hour travel time, which is okay. Praiseworthy is the shuttle service, that without waiting times well!

Here it can be bearable. However I would in respect to the less beautiful hotel-beach and because of the Fact, that Chalkidiki very nice places and above all beaches has, definitely a rental car to the exploration recommend. The only Greek at this bungalow-hotel was the name 'Philoxenia' and the occupation in the lobby: apart from that even with the serving staff only Eastern European forces. Why not Greek service staff? The country struggles to survive as would be any job for the ' compatriots' better than cheap Aushilfeskräfte seasonal. The for me was not explainable. Mostly Eastern European tourist-Serbia-Romanians -Bulgarians-eTC. A few German-is probably also due to the scaremongering you in Germany operates what Greece subject. I didn't notice on the contrary all Greek which I met have were above average nice and helpful. I really enjoyed ... it with these people to communicate. Hotel itself OK-except for the unfinished buildings the on the complex and on the you a 'excellent' point of view, if you are in the building 'D' is housed. A blot the be turned off should. A Greek evening with music and dance has actually missing around the Greek flair to point out. Evening buffet very good varied and tastefully. The complex to and for itself is beautiful and well maintained and the location is ideal for excursions of any type. In comparison to our first visit there this time but many 'ja-abers'.     Nothing special, but everything there that you need. Until on clothes hangers: we had altogether five for 2 persons. The fridge worked well. At the circa 30 centimeter 'large' crt there is only ZDF and RTL. Cleanliness see above. Caution is recommended for people with back or or hüftproblemen. The mattresses are not worn out however therefor totally hard. Even I the I only age-related wear marks have several times both poor 'dormant'. My wife could only more or less sleep, nachdemwir their between sheets and mattress a the wärmedecken, the thank god fluffy were, twice put inside had.

    It is here that the greatest disappointment! It is certainly be aware, that it 'only' a three star hotel' is, but in comparison to three years ago the food was, especially the breakfast; really bad. Yes, also three years ago the selection was of course not as plentiful as in a 5 *-haus, but it was better. And above all has three years ago yet the quality right! To go into detail now would be too costly and too boring. Only a couple points: Breakfast: no fresh fruits or vegetables( for example tomatoes, gherkins, melons etc.) , the marmelade only through the color, the mueslibüfett consisted of always the same four cereals. The toastautomaten, the three years ago for the one sort of bread (no rolls or similar) which entire stay long was, were not there. And the juice from the automat tasted only after chemistry. Dinner: well you always found something to fill you up. That was all. Obviously the hotel has a new steamers carried out. All vegetables were frozen goods prepared in above device. Obviously also all other dishes cooked or already acquired and it warmed up. I can think of in any case not explain, as a fresh from of the kitchen candidate fish in the yeast doughs a shaky food and beverage mushy filet can. The soups we had the suspicion, that it mostly pulverware gave. The salad buffet was completely reasonable, but the dessert was pathetic. Either a sort of fruit ( grapes, apples, nectarines in the change) or two types of ice ( always chocolate and vanilla) in the daily change. That was it. Altogether more like a canteen than a hotel meal. Whereas I jdamit the one or another cafeteria

    The staff at the reception was always friendly and spoke relatively good German. In restaurant and pool bar almost exclusively eastern european seasonal workers with modest English. The cleaning of the rooms only superficial work. The stools on spiegeltisch was, I believe, the whole 2 weeks in the floor sweeping not pulled. A circa 1 week dropped nut the visible area nearby the front bettfußes was, was a few time back and forth pushed together, but it was on our way back still. Crumbs on the balcony outlasted also our stay.

    The town is situated between Kassandra and sitonia. Ideal starting point for explorations the two finger, as well as of the hinterland. The complex is located above the town in a pine grove. In all aspects we were very satisfied. The value for money has everywhere right. Positively surprised we were by the food. It has every day tasted and there was something there for everyone. The rooms were always clean and every 2 days the towels were changed, if they provided to change. The staff were always very friendly. We felt every day a beach chair for 3 €on beach section the cafes Alexandra rented. This got a drink for example Frappe and a small water. Here one had your peace and the staff the café were always nice and helpful. read more

It was very, very hot - the air conditioning has us as well. The location in the Pine forest very nice. The couple Meters to beach - not a problem. Chairs and an umbrella at the beach at café Alexandra used-no music and friendly owner! A drinks or 3 Euro f. d. Loungers per person is OK. Food next door in the tavern Nikos very good! But also in town everywhere good lunch - especially short before the end left side in the large tavern with HB sign. A car is definitely an advantage. The hinterland is very nice and ... the two other ' Fingers' of Chalkidiki definitely reputation. Thessaloniki is a must! The hotel is in the summer very crowded-with lots of children - but actually, we were only to eat and sleep in the hotel so that couples without children to 'their' right. We stayed in the e-wing-no families with small children. read more

The cheap price appropriate touristic ambience, too many visited by Eastern European families. Highway in earshot, sometimes geräuschintensiv. On the ground floor left (block E) is the laundry room, so you should room directly beside it rather avoid to refer. Many smokers have the benefit of the meal times sometimes limited. Typical breakfast is less after German taste. The area between sea and hotel is partly from a estate with ruins, which is not so very nice. Nevertheless we recovered good and the sea enjoyed. read more

    The food was throughout more delicious. It was never all, even if so large rush was. There was always something for everyone, so something that children like, meatless, with a lot of meat or fish. The breakfast was - for greek standards-opulent, that one for eggs extra should we feel than adequate. The waiters were attentive and friendly, both in the restaurant as well as at the pool bar and at the front desk. The prices take nothing to German prices, but rather I pay a Fanta in Greece because in Germany;-)

    Wi-fi for whoever needed it. Pool is clean ( chlorine), with enough beach chairs. Unfortunately there was only little shady places, the early morning behandtucht were, well also here there was this bad habit. The beach is not bad, but there are many better in the area.

    The distance to the beach is completely reasonable, you have just a small walk make. Mostly we were anyway by car other beaches on the way. Shopping there is in psakoudia adequate. If that's not enough, you could also by nea moudania drive, it is a Carrefour. You should in any case a car have/rent!

Very nice was the Bungalowcharakter the hotel, as you between the individual houses many green spaces with palm trees etc. And so not only a massive building with innumerable rooms found. The room as such was in terms of size a bit small, but mostly it is yes anyway only for sleeping used and it is definitely enough. It was a pity that no pictures or so on the wall hung, so the room very cold seemed. The food ( we had the half board) was also reasonable. The dinner was varied but unfortunately only little Greek. The breakfast could ... varied his, but you could get full. The beach is not far away and clean. In the location there were also a small tourist information office, in the German work and a great help, if you must know or just something to undertake searches. All together we had a really beautiful vacation and can the hotel really recommend it. read more

All together was the a very relaxing vacation. We had a stay of 10 days which is not too short and not too long. 2 weeks could you but it certainly, also work. We use for full 10 days a rental car we in Germany already additionally booked had and we were very glad, that we a car had. It was well worth that is, everything nearby was to look at. There alone everyone already beach was different. The location is however rather for couples, families and older people recommendable. For stand-alone or party searching, we recommend it other place ... the hotel is very good well maintained and its three stars was good justified, but for more not really. We had for 10 days and 2 persons around 800 €issued, for flight (200€ ) hotel (400€ ) rental car (200 €) Front desk/ arrival/ check in: Super and without any problems get lost. English and German were understood very well. On request you could an airco for 20€ deposit book or but also a safe for only 20 €(full 10 days) Room: Small however completely sufficiently block E very recommendable since there was a calmer location get. Families and couple are separate but freely accessible Food: in the hotel not really recommendable: our recommendation, only breakfast book and every evening eat out you can get very cheap and it was in the place always very good. Tavern Nikos La pizza A few tips at the end the beaches on choice and Sithonia are very nice on the best however in Sithonia gravel or fine sandy beaches with wonderful Bays and turquoise water Beaches there recommendable in toroni, kalogria, nikiti, down at the corner there is also a secluded bay in the middle in the mountains, also you can great mountain landscape and nature see, Kassandira has great small lonely bays and bathing areas itself vacation period are not crowded and the restaurants are very recommendable. If you want to time and money can experience a quantity here and see have fun for everyone it is worthwhile;-) read more

The food is hardly enjoyable, because even the salad was not tasty and it was Eastern European kitchen. We have to two days after a change of towels asked and were once rebuked, that this is exclusively all three days successes. After a long discussion ( luckily my husband is Greek) we have fresh towels get. The bed was in the week once removed, they mopped and swept probably not. The complex is clean, however the Sprenkleranlagen on the way addressed, so that you don't dry for breakfast or back. Which to criticize, the beverages the meal times are subject ... to a charge and for local standards completely overpriced. The way to the beach is also an impertinence! There are two ways-one of which passes through a forest, then you have down over the street and then piece walk to the beach. The other is a long stairs through a' jungle' and down between two houses ends. Recommendation: by car direction Agious Nikolas drive, at the crossing right and shortly after the gas station turn right in. The signposts to the beach bar consequences, there you will find a white sandy beach before and crystal clear water. Really recommendable, Frappé cost however 4 €and large club sandwich 6 €, but one gets a half liter water and feel in Karibik. In short: if you only a bed for sleeping need and best eat out, the can in-rent themselves there. However in psakoudia more hotels, at least from the outside a far einladenderen impression did. read more

We had a very nice vacation in Greece. The bungalows were nice and spacious, we had a room with reasonably sea / Waldblick. However they were not so clean as one is otherwise used to it, the change of towels not automatically carried out, you must in the lobby announce if you have a new towel needs, but the bothered us rather less. The garden area is beautiful and very well maintained. Staff the mainly from the East always tried very hard and friendly, as well as the food varied and good. The way to the beach through a forest ..., to the smaller beach promenade you will find supermarkets and bars, although a few, but they are there. At the weekend you hear however the music until the early morning hours of the bars very clearly, if you a room direction beach has. There were a lot of German guests also with children since, as these complex also very child friendly. I can recommend this hotel, and we had a a very nice stay in hospitality! read more

Nice and clean hotel, rooms are nice and cleaned daily. Since we have a baby traveling we would of course be more than happy a room on the ground floor had without stairs, this was unfortunately not possible and so we have the buggy always high and runtergeschleppt and the circa 8a 10 times per day. The food was for us completely terrible, there was little choice, perhaps, because the season just started but we have never seen anything like it also the breakfast is not great been, little choice always only bright bread, where partly 'the bark' already drops ... and if it came then times a other bread was then you had to already be quick. For a egg you had to pay, I think that is not reasonable,0.70 Euro for a fried egg I think that is unacceptable. The hotel's location and also the pool is nice, the pool was absolutely filthy so that we always a bit had to say and then was cleaned, also the beach is about 10 minutes away on foot. The taverns at the beach are delicious and inexpensive, very good for us was in Costa tasty. But if you a bit of the beautiful Sithonia want to see you need in any case a car, which book is. Very nice place and nice beach with good food in the taverns but we would to this hotel not again! read more

Quite nice for one week, but not longer. Three days of our visit at the hotel, a two coach tours strong Romanian ladies group. Easily dressed, colorful painted, and the evening buffet was every minute as empty swept. Since the guests had their plates the habit of bursting to fill. Because of the high crush of people you sat at the table for four people comfortably with his girlfriend, with two Romanian ladies. Next vacation is a expensive hotel. read more
