Comfortable hotel in a good location. It is an old building of the end of the 19 century with nice ambience. The rooms relatively quiet the courtyard of the former sarotti -works. From the street is in the room nothing to be heard. The front desk is on the road in a cafe, the entrance to the rooms is just across the courtyard. The rooms are well equipped, the beds (very important to me!) Not too soft. Telephone (landlines) and wi-fi are included in the price, what i found very positive and not self-evident think.
Very extensive breakfast buffet with ... everything, which one so wishes.
The subway is is a few minutes walk away, the Friedrichstraße you can reach without having to change just as fast.
Very lots of pubs and pub in the vicinity, so that you also nearby fast times which drinking or good eat out can.
The only downside, the mind can think of, the right steep stairs, the older and infirm guests rather less desirable, a lift was not noticeable to me. read more

A really charming hotel in the heart of Berlin. We were already many a time in the hotel in Berlin and I have never had a similar price so beautiful and comfortable used. What is particularly worth noting is the friendliness all there as far as creating those common houses persons. We felt very much at ease, slept well and had a very good breakfast. We will be returning for our next Berlin trip book there again and recommend it to anyone. read more

I stayed in the Sarotti yards 2 nights during a business trip in Berlin spent. All in all a good hotel. It is however very noisy. You hear constantly the loud soft purr of the door opener in inner courtyard. There is no lift, so you need to suitcase gladly also times in the 2nd floor drag. The parking costs just 8 €on the day. OK you are also right in the middle of it all. All together for sleeping with a business trip okay. Much more however not. read more

We were already for the second time in Sarotti. Close proximity to subway is super and the hotel with its lovingly equipped rooms worth a visit. The location is quiet and you get in the rooms of the lively driving on the Mehringdamm nothing.
The breakfast is very recommendable, everything available and no large rush at the buffet...
So, next time again Sarotti :-) read more

Great CAFE, hotel and the newly opened rest. Kesselhaus with its small, but fine seasonal selection and excellent kitchen, enrich Kreuzberg. Everything with attention to detail furnished. Top service.
The non-credited points were not used and can therefore not be evaluated. Spa facilities missing, is however planned. All the staff are exceedingly friendly, helpful and seem proud of their employers/space, in this price range more natural circumstance, what pleasure.
A the best Currywurstbuden Berlin (curry 36) and the unique Mustafa with his Gemüsekebap sweeten the distance to the subway, in a few minutes reachable is.

Unusual Hotel in Kreuzberg (61). In an atmospheric alrewn chocolate factory 'Sarrotti' the location it offers little view, therefor but lovely quiet hotel in a central location. In the immediate neighborhood (bergmannstrasse) you will find many bars, restaurants, shops. A vibrant area of Berlin! It can be reached in a few minutes the Kreuzber (nice park, beer.) and the underground station/bus station line 119. Excellent connections to all directions, you are right in the middle of everything and still quiet.
The rooms have unfortunately Platikböden (wood imitation), it is clean but not very comfortable. Otherwise the rooms are very ... nice (old furniture, high ceilings, large bathrooms, some of them even with daylight,). There is a safe in the room, hair dryer, bathrobes and an umbrella (very convenient); what was missing was a kettle for tea making facilities. The recovered under construction at the room walls are probably a bit thin side, the hotel is noisy, we have stayed in quite a few hotels in the city, but would stay here again in the Sarrotti-yards back! read more

The Sarotti story survive to leave, deserves a strong praise. The hotel and attached café are a real highlight in a city, the really a lot has to offer. The Sarotti stings in any case out, because ambience, service and the concept truly are great. Everywhere is with much attention to detail worked and the guests in the foreground provided. We are very much looking forward to go back and really a special slip into the new year experienced. read more

Great cities-holiday in a historic ambience! If you want to complain about anything, then two minor points:
Unfortunately, there was no elevator and the hot breakfast were unfortunately a little bit cold.
Everything else was in our eyes for the price just great! ☺ read more

We stayed for four nights over New Year's Eve at the hotel Sarotti yards. We enjoyed it very much and we would definitely go back again. The stairs up to the rooms are very steep and some air stealing, but the rooms are very nicely decorated and we felt very comfortable there. We would like to highlight the great breakfast and the always friendly and forthcoming staff. The hotel gets an atmosphere that is certainly not in Berlin again. So once again, thank you very much for the nice time in Berlin, and up to next time. Olga and Thomas read more

The numerous positive Postings speaks for itself. But a few things need to be said1) The rooms are extremely noisy. We had (room 201) disturbed nights, since the door buzzer for Etageneinganges, as well as the tv and the discussions which took place in the room next door, very schlafraubend were. The wooden floors under the carpet makes in the entire floor. You don't feel so comfortable, since even during normal entertainment in the neighboring speakers on the wall taps. You can hear and understand every word. from next door. 2) the romantic looking beds are optically nice, but ... relatively uncomfortable and squeaky. at the slightest movement. 3) The acclaimed breakfast here in this forum must be taken in close proximity to each other, while convenient, but average at best. That, too, had, for all the positive reviews-write. read more

Quiet hotel in the middle of Kreuzberg, highly recommended. For people with walking difficulties " " a bit difficult, because on the second floor and non-smoking there is no lift.
A small tip for the hotel owner: the rooms lack one or two hooks in order to hang jackets, capacity for attachment of the hook is sufficiently available.
Otherwise, very nice and friendly staff, very good buffet breakfast and clean, large and quiet rooms. read more
