Nice atmosphere, excellent thalassobereich, varied evening entertainment. Very polite, attentive staff in all areas. The 9 hole golf practicing area we used them every day, although this is in need of an overhaul. Also here we felt comfortable and have only nice people. The food was good and the dessert buffet prepared with lots of love. Room was very nice and big and the housekeeping staff very good. read hotel review

I have stayed at another excellent hotel in Mahdia, so was a little apprehensive about deciding to change venue. I shouldn't have worried. Visually, a beautiful hotel with a traditional Tunisian foyer with a wide marble staircases sweeping down to the lower floors - traditional Arab carved balustrades and mazzanine - awesome! Very friendly and welcoming staff greeted us on arrival at reception with a fresh fruit drink. On reception level there was a large lounge with huge comfy settees and chairs. Several bars and a Night Club. Also on that lever, the entrance to the Thalasso. A large shop ... selling a wide range of items was located on the second floor On the bottom floor were several games rooms, TV lounge and a library. (What a pity the guests who 'borrowed' the books failed to return them!) and the entrance to the indoor pool. There was also a small lounge serving the traditional mint teas etc. Any problems during our stay? It would be impossible to find the smallest thing to complain about and we have every intention of returning in November for another elongated stay.     We used 2 dining rooms during our stay - both excellent not crowded. The food was a major problem for me, as it was simply excellent with a buffet offering a good range of salads and horse- d'oeuvre, and continental breads, salamis, cheeses etc, 2 very popular soups a superb choices of both Tunisian Cuisine and European style food.with a range of freshly grilled foods and my downfall, a beautiful and extensive range of mouthwatering desserts. Always fresh fruits and usually a range of ice cream - and after the first 2 weeks, I had to limit my visits to the evening meal as i found it very difficult to resist the temptations offered by the brilliant chef and his team. Also, very quick and professional service from the waiters and maítre d's

    . The Housekeeping service was more than excellent with tireless friendly service from the housekeeper and her team. Such hardworking personnel! The hotel was immaculately clean in all areas, The laundry service was quick and cheap - 24 hours retrun when we were there I had no complaints!!

    A sculptured outdoor pool with fountains and a small toddler's pool - and a pool bar with waiter service for those sunbathing around the pools and gardens. Beach towels were available for a small refundable deposit. One step out of the well maintained garden and you are literally on the best beach in Tunisia.

    The hotel is situated in the touristic area about 6 kilometers from the town centre. Cheap taxis run throughout the day and evening from the front of the hotel - cost 4 dinars including the tip. A short walk away is the metro station where regular trains run to Monastire and Sousse

The rooms in the hotel for me was great. Ocean view with sun and a lot of peace and quiet during the holidays. The food was good enough for me, a lot of vegetables and salad. The service and also the biggest temptation for me was the small cake every evening. Madhia is unfortunately even at the beach dirty has become. I hope the get the tunisians soon handle after a week i see the dirt but not more as at the beginning. The hotel is clearly dated, but for my needs it was enough perfectly. read hotel review

The mahdia palace, of all tunisian resorts one of the best. The location right on the beach is perfect, the service professional and extremely friendly, the kitchen excellent: even in the restaurant you eat at a very high level, and the breakfast buffet offers everything, what you can imagine. read hotel review

Very large hotel, tastefully decorated, attractively decorated. In the glaring areas clean, with the exact hinsehen only moderately cleaned. Our hallway smelled very musty, was probably on the carpet. Grounds and pool area are well maintained, beach sunday In the off season good visited by many older tourists and many families.     Hotel lies directly at the beach. To the airport it took about 2-2.5 hour. In the surrounding area you will find a few tourist shops, two cafes/restaurants and construction on the other side of the street, what the hotel was not to be heard. After mahdia you drove with the taxi for about 5 Dinar.

    Available is all, including disco, unfortunately during our stay the disco mostly dark. The animators strive well about the guests.     Transfer from enfidha airport almost 2 hours, flight from monastir airport would be shorter, as only about 30 kilometer away. The hotel is located directly at the sandy beach with very clean water. Shopping in the area there were only conditionally possible, taxi is possible in front of the door and cost 4 td to about 6 kilometer away, mahdia.

Nice hotel in a great location to the beach. I believe it has been great importance on cleanliness everywhere. My room was very nice, with a great view of the sea. Requests were immediately fulfilled. I had booked half board, it was good enough for me. The food was nothing to complain about, it was always varied and tastefully.     Often i was in Tunisia, but this crystal-clear sea in madhia compensated for everything, which is not so 100% ig was. Even if you are sometimes over the couches angry, the often already before the rise were reserved. In the pool area everything was ok.

I do something to make it clear. I was 31 august until 14 september in the hotel guests. So i don't know what some people here or to complain about it was a wonderful holiday, i felt like a queen, the staff from the hotel manager from up to the cleaning lady or on the beach the security and the men the couches rumschleppten were all extremely nice and helpful. The food was really good and since i work cook am i can probably very good rate. But unfortunately, there are always people who be satisfied with anything can. It ... was really wahnsinnsschön and i next year in july fly there again and get the same room i this year, i have the lady at the front desk already clarified. I have so many nice people become acquainted with the same say as i. My room was always very clean. Every evening on the terrace live music. There was a large pool with enough pool chairs, sun loungers, as well as mats. The grounds are spacious and well maintained. However, on closer concerned ­ tung for the ambition of a 5 star hotels much to complain about. The tile grouting on the pool floor are with black 'something' (mold, seaweed or something else?) Polluted, so that swimming in the hotel pool uncomfortable about. The loud music at the pool was very nice ... and ­ pleasant and annoying in the long run. read hotel review

    Disaster! Constantly one is on the search for a free table, plates, cups, forks, spoons and so on. The dining room is large but for the rush of guests, during the meal times, not from ­ reaching. There was too little staff and thus can the rush not in peace be mastered. It is always a gehetze and jostle of the guests. Also is almost always queue ange ­ says and has a long way. Whether in the coffee, in the egg omelets get or the bread get. There is only one bread station with a knife. Often lacks breads. At the ­ preparation of omelets, there was a chef at the stove the everything made and accordingly long. Impossible this situation.

    From the airport Enfidha the hotel is by bus about 2 hours. The hotelei ­ gladly beach is cleaned daily and is in good condition. But the beach chairs can not say. These are very dirty, weathered and many broken. Impossible for a 5 star hotel.

The hotel has just had a pleasant size. After 14 days you knew most of the people with the same interests. The cleanliness must be strong difernziert - this more in the single areas. Beware internet which you had to book extra is not from every room. The guest structure was very mixed between end 20's and late 50 throughout our stay but also approximately 20 children between 1.5 and 10 years (figure toddling) In the 2. week of september about 70% russians, in the 3. week approximately 70% german. The rest distributed in german, french, a few locals ... and a few unknown. read hotel review

    The rooms were from the size ok. But very different. On the ground floor with tiles. Further up with carpet (very old partly) and partly with bathroom and toilet in one room, part divided in two. Our first room was facing the street and had a view of the construction site across is where apartments built the future to the hotel belong should. The construction was really loud. In addition was our balcony the exhaust air from the thalassotherapy pool! We could not the door open and everything was damp. Fortunately a room change was no problem and we can the number 121 only recommend. No long ways with a buggy and except on days the pool party also quieter than at the construction site. Direction golf course would be even better - but you cannot have everything. Our 2. room had clearly one star more than the first! Free safe was super, a refrigerator for our own drinks also good. Air conditioning only in the first week during the season.

    The hot food was always super tasty. Who finds there nothing is even debt. Every day there was a landestypsichese and also international. In the evening there were 2 meal times. If you are first there was had more choice, but long waits for example on the grill, in the 2. everything was quiet and cozy and enough selection. The cleanliness and hygiene was questionable - i will this pictures - make yourself. Definitely a tip - the high chairs are really disgusting! Nabs you stoffservierten and puts it on or take own towel, or better still, if space in the suitcase take something private with! So what did i really have not seen. The chairs shook partially and once i have gotten where 2 legs were loose. Fortunately timely notice i got on request a new from the waiter - the old one was however simply at the other table. If you follow the usual trinkgeldpreise stops you will more or less served. Some tourists with all inclusive with the beverages had like elsewhere also, of course, less service. The drinks prices of course more expensive than in the market but quite moterat. We drank for example 2 local beer and a petrol and 13 Dinar paid.

    At the reception super friendly and helpful. A lady also spoke super german. Otherwise little german except for a few in the restaurant but usually more on mash and tips were. The rooms were rather poor cleaned. In 14 days not once vacuumed (carpet) or are not wiped (tiles), only swept. Some guests still found some remnant of your predecessors - such as fingernails...     Beach and pool were in good condition - after a storm was the beach within a morning again set up. But be careful beach chairs this is really a tragedy - there are many broken and worn out.     The location was ideal if you after mahdia wants. The beach is in madhia ideal (only unfortunately gave it partially jellyfish - but vinegar mood and the next day was everything again okay) - flat and many beautiful shells. There are restaurants 2 directly opposite the hotel- we did not test however. Two small shopping center directly opposite the hotel. There were a few clothes and a couple of food and drinks. A real supermarket gave it unfortunately only in monastir (who special wishes or a larger offer would like). Diagonally across is the metro station, the normal train service between sousse - monastir - mahdia. To monastir 1/2 Dinar per person and to monastir 2,5 Dinar ( 1 hour drive). Safer than a taxi (as drove as madmen) and still cheaper and just as fast. Tickets in the train and schedule you get in the hotel and also at the station. In monastir is a large bahnehof where you for example in the train to El Jem can change. There is the station in view proximity to the amphitheatre and you can then even the time off. Booked excursions into the theatre are only a rush as we noticed. The deficiency is clearly night life. Next to the hotel there is a Midget Golf and golf course which is lit up at night and fußballliveübertragungen power. Discos and so on we never seen.

    Absolute disaster! Staff unfriendly, waiters untrained and of service no idea. We waited for the breakfast altogether 15 minutes to the table again to be covered. The first waiter brings a new tablecloth, after another 5 minutes a other waiter with a fork and knife angeschlichen and again 5 minutes a 3. waiter finally times cups, but no coffee spoons!. Actually we lack the words. This alleged 5 star hotel, maximum 3 stars. I am very happy my statement with examples explain. - the booked room: dried blood on the yellowed wall, rust on the air conditioning (that was just painted over but then we had to 2 days the stench of paint bear) telephone and tv were not connected properly and the 3 channels had strong reception problems that one not times 15 minutes in a row the news could. - cleanliness: after asking, then the room was cleaned properly, the waiters were only with poor sitter dirty uniform ... without a friendly smile and slackness in the face. - the beach chairs were for over 15 years ago not have been exchanged and in the corresponding condition - buffet: without decoration, dearless arranged, confusion, dining-hall totally chaotic and dirty, constantly cups, glasses napkins and cutlery was missing. Many meals were not marked and the staff was overtaxed and had no desire to work and guests There are a lot more but i don't want to be again upset. Conclusion is: never again!     The furniture is already outdated. The room is large and nice. Bathroom and toilet were separated from each other but both are big enough. Scandal: the hotel turns off the air conditioning from 01:00 to 13:00 in all rooms. Unbelievable but true.

    The hotel is directly at the most beautiful beach section mahdias we're sorry, but it is far out bite from the medina of mahdia (1 hour walk). To the airport Enfidha you need 2 hours. Shopping, night life and restaurants can one rather forget. You should select a hotel closer to the medina of mahdia is such as the Iberostar Royal El Mansour. In front of the hotel there were two small supermarkets where one which drink oneself or food can buy. Also souvenirs there. 3 minutes away from the hotel entrance is a train station, the train runs over monastir to sousse and is really comparable with our ice, so new and luxurious. Great.

    The dinner was actually always sufficient and delicious. Breakfast i found an impertinence. Hardly selection and the rolls were rather undrinkable. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The atmosphere was like in a cafeteria, really terrible. Always crowded and so much waiters do nothing, that one hardly still can see.

My sister and i traveled mitte september. The hotel per se looks very impressing, seems to at first glance in good condition. Unfortunately, we were completely disappointed - further explanation to it under the respective areas. The fantastic beach is through unpleasant ramifications consistently missed: We had already at 6 o'clock to rise around beach chairs at the beach to reserve, because otherwise (for example, around half 7) either none were more free or no umbrella got. The beach chairs were partly broken and so not really functional. Long story short, i would like in my holiday not at 6 ... o'clock to rise should i on the beach relax without me a sunstroke to catch. read hotel review

    My sisters reserved a hotel room with a sea view, which we - as already mentioned - not got, with the reason that the hotel was overbooked and we were instead a 'suite' would give. On requests/wishes we got from the front desk usually only the answer 'is oke, madame' - which apparently so much to say 'i'm not interested' or 'mach itself'. On the last day we had a conversation with the hotel manager, the during the interview very friendly shone and were assured there would be compensation for our stay. When we arrived home we wrote him a reklamationsemail - on his reply, we waited in vain. The only really friendly and extremely competent staff was the in-house technician, the our primary not functioning save repaired!
