For the value for money great hotel. Friendly staff, however hardly any knowledge of German.
Ideal location and the beach.

With the statements the other guests, if many statements fully for example
1. The rooms were clean, but badly soundproofed
2. The staff were friendly and spoke German
3. The food was good, but not well seasoned
4. The hotel has very good location, near to the beach, for three stars surprisingly good.
5. the odors of the channel, the mostly in the morning quite were strong. ( no room from the street!)
6. Many british people, however it didn't bother us, in October a lot of senior citizens for quiet-)
7. the dry rolls, have toast and pancakes ... the breakfast saved.
8. The chairs at the beach: per beach chair 4.50 Euro per day umbrella extra 4.50
9. Safe 2 Euro per day + 10 Euro deposit ( we have the deposit without any problems get back, the receipt store)
10. And the weather was wonderful, no rain, sun, 27 degrees, the sea still warm-)

The location of the hotel was unique, directly at the beach, surrounding lots of pubs with live music and nevertheless peaceful, however I would recommend a room to the pool to take, since the room to the street probably very noisy. The food and breakfast was very good for the size of the hotel even very good. The room was new and very clean. We paid for the week 369.- Euro per person, there has the value for money absolutely right. Disadvantage, the beach is not as clean as usual, is perhaps the fact that there end of the ... season go there. Chairs on the beach very expensive, 2 loungers and an umbrella 13.50-.

To Santa Ponsa we would go back, in this three star hotel not more.
There were board appropriate with 9 forbidden, some of them are useful, other less, for example in the rooms and in the pool area are glasses (wine) not wished, you must only in the bar area and in the dining room be used. read more

We were very satisfied with the hotel and are definitely in future return. We especially enjoyed the central location and the direct proximity to bathing beach. The cleanliness of the hotel and the state of the rooms was remarkably good. read more

Benefits: the hotel lies over a street at the beach. Shops, restaurants and bars everything very easy to reach. Excursions to Palma by bus very good (3,50 Euro per person and distance) to the cathedral.
Cons: we got a rude and impolite welcoming at the reception. The rooms serve to stay. Unfortunately we had very loud music fom the neighboring hotels, so that of sleep before two o'clock in the morning not to be thought. The food used to be full. No kid's offers. The children's playground has two device. But in immediate distance is a very nice public ... playground. In short: if you don't peace and quiet searches, this hotel is the right place. read more

The hotel deserves only 1 star. We had the half board and a room with lateral view of the sea booked. We received a room to the street with a view to a palm in 2 meters distance. On demand at the front desk offered us a room with sea view for 8,50 Euro a day. On instruction on our reservation one reacted with understanding. The employees at the reception ( unfriendly and aggressive) spoke fluent spanish, English only if you want it to be and German only a only lady very little. The food was a catastrophe. The ... bed linen was not changed ( the same stains on the pillows on arrival and day of departure). The rooms are badly soundproofed. The whole night you hear drunk English guests, and departing and from the street the buses and garbage trucks. The hotel allocation is circa aus 80% englishmen, 10% russians, 5% dutch and austrians and maximum 5% germans. read more

The hotel is my opinion overrated. Hotel itself large and clean. Staff are friendly. Pool clean. Food average. To 90% with English occupied. The hotel is more than just noisy. The doors are from plywood and paperboard. You could exactly a curtain dorthinhängen. Then every room a connecting door to the next room. You can hear the neighbors as if it with in the room. It was awful especially if you English next door, the in the morning around 4.30 to come home and rioting power. 2 weeks little sleep. Our night every morning at: o'clock to end. read more

The hotel and the rooms are in a flawless and clean state. We booked half board. The types of people are very mixed. There were except German also italians, very lots of spaniards, English, irish and also some russians in the hotel. The average age went from young to old. Also many families with small children were in the hotel. read more

The hotel is normally good but what the variety of food regards is rather plentiful, usually there was always the same but clean tables. The beach was directly opposite of the hotel. One had at the check-in and check out as with other other things communicating in english. The pool as the outdoor area were clean and cleaned every early checked. There were quite a lot shops for food, souvenirs, etc. The amenities in the room was okay. The tv was a bit small and hang high, the bathroom was quite clean but the bathtub was with lime or something ... dirty. Every evening there was animation dide but until late in the night went and more or less noisy was whereby one 'forced' was awake to stay.

The nightly entertainment was uS with the window closed still too loud.
From 23:30 it was however always peace.
The only two to receiving German private tv-program are certainly still with ARD or ZDF expandable. read more

Very clean, well-kept three star hotel in the wonderful place Santa Ponsa.
Negative: very badly soundproofed, room with a view of the sea directly on the lively street, no mini bar in the room ( thus no possibility, own drinks cool), plates at the buffet often dirty.
The hotel we would recommend, great location for old and young.
You outside of the hotel more right, so you will get Ballermann mood, turn left, so you will find comfortable bars and restaurant. read more

Hotel in a great location ( beach, shops, bus station, excursions, beach), guest structure very mixed ( German, British, Dutch, French, Italian, Russians), rooms are very clean, loungers by the pool in very poor condition, no hair dryer ( however, you can at front desk borrow, safe and internet subject to a charge ( free Wi-Fi opposite when McDonald's and at the beach), evenings and during the day changing animation ( sometimes extremely loud music), little sun screens by the pool ( what the reserve the loungers in the morning declares- not only by German)
There was a ... relative wide selection of food, but tasted little (no spice, fried, greasy, overcooked, not very varied). Even if you at the food in Spanish tourist hotel no high expectations may have, was the offer and the quality of the dishes compared to experiences from previous vacations already relatively badly.
Tips: boat trip on suppliers opposite side of the street, bus connections are very good, café Katzenberger on left side of the bay (always the street direction El Toro consequences ), delicious pizza at pizzeria Rococo, delicious Sangria in the bistro of Jüren Drews (at the gyroscope on bus station) read more

The hotel is good, unfortunately the place is more for English Partykids thought.
The check in is very bad canceled, because the hotel for us no room had free. We had to one night in a foreign, terrible hotel spend ( hotel Plaza). Weird way we met in the hotel yet 3 Paare the same experienced. Coincidence? read more

I was with my friend for 4 days beach vacation the Hesperia Playas.
It was from other vacationers criticized, that at the front desk not German spoken is. This is not true, we could at least 3 languages (German, English and Spanish, of course).
We had 'only' a budget room booked, this was big enough with 2 beds, safe and TV. The hair dryer you can at the front desk check-out counters.
The food was for 3 stars my opinion adjusted. Could have been a little more choice, but we were always full.
The pool is for families with children ... for us a bit too small, we didn't stay there.
At the sea there are chairs and sunscreens for a fee ( 2 chairs and 1 sun screen for 13,50 Euro).
Evenings is very busy in Santa Ponsa.
All together I would say, that the value for money for 3 stars appropriate and I would recommend it for a short break recommend, but I would definitely not with the whole family go there. read more
