Worst experience ever!

My wife and I have stayed here a number of times of the past few years, this was by far the worst experience ever!! We used to be regular visitors to the AVI, however after this experience we would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay there again. This used to be a great quite and relaxing place to stay at one time but seems to have slipped to the worst over the past year or so. read hotel review

Asked for paid for and was confirmed for a single non-smoking king room close to the main entrance as I am a disabled veteran. Upon arrival we were stuck in a smoking king that smelled so bad it was a like sticking your face in a used ash tray, (neither my wife or I smoke and couldn't get out of the room fast enough) we had to ask for another room , the room we were reassigned to was at the very far end of south tower as far from the main entrance as you could get. The A/C unit in this room squealed with a slipping fan belt, we called for maintenance after 2 and a half hours no one showed to check the problem, finally gave up and went to bed, belt stopped squealing about an hour later but was replaced by another noise, (every time unit would kick on it sounded like a small diesel motor starting (went on all night, you guessed it no sleep at all) several live crickets on the floor and walls, A/C also leaked water on the carpet, (I ended up stepping in it,) We had booked on relatively short notice so the room was non-refundable, otherwise we would have gone and found another place top stay.

We ate dinner in Feathers, my wife ordered a chicken wrap and got a little something extra, * a plastic sell by date tag fell out of it about half way through her meal. She could have choked on it or broken a tooth if it hadn't fallen out when it did. Restaurant used to be good, but not anymore.

Generally the clerk that checked us in was rude. Complaints of improperly working A/C were ignored, when it was reported to the day manager at check out she was completely indifferent to the problem and didn't even try to offer any consideration for the horrible experience. Upon check out we reported the problems to the on duty manager, no consideration offered what-so-ever only commented she was sorry to hear that. (in other words she could have cared less). We drove 300 miles and went there on business however because of the no sleep and other irritations I was not able to get anything accomplished and just wanted to get home

We used to stay here mainly because it is off the beaten path and relatively quite a place to avoid the hustle of the strip

The Avi is on of our favorite places to stay for a couple of days while traveling trough the desert. We found this place by chance and are were so positively surprised by this little oasis that we have returned several times since then. If you want to launch your boat or just want to spend a few days at the pool or the beach this is definitely the place to stay. read hotel review

The hotel lies slightly off the beaten track and would be without a sat-nav with night probably only difficult to find. Check in/ check out is fast and easy. The room was clean and in terms of size okay. The price was for our transit on the way to the Grand Canyon unbeatable cheap. Parking spaces there are many and free available. Directly next to the parking there is a gas station, as well as a small restaurant with super breakfast possibility. read hotel review

Great for a stopover for Grand Canyon archived

On our USA round trip was needles a stopover on the way from San Diego to the Grand Canyon. Our choice much on the Ari Resort, as this very was cheap and it just a special with free breakfast was. The breakfast buffet was the best breakfast was we in the 3 week vacation got. We had a room with 2 Queen beds. At the room there was nothing to pass, for the price below 20 Euro per night anyway not.-) WiFi is for free and there is a free parking garage available. The hotel is somewhat outside of ... Needels. By car one is however in a 2 to 3 minutes close to some supermarkets, restaurants and gas stations. read hotel review

On the stopover of San Diego to Grand Canyon was this hotel excellent. With boiling temperature of about 40 °C we arrived in the afternoon on, moved to the very large and simple designed room. Everything was clean and the bathroom was huge. The complex features a casino, a pool and a' beach', which we didn't use. In 3 minutes a Walmart, as well as other shops. The breakfast was by far the best of the trip. It was a huge buffet, in which one everything conceivable take could, everything tasted delicious. It was in the price included, because it ... is a promo was, apart from that it costs probably 3.50$, the is however a ridiculous price, so book. We have circa 20 Euro a night paid, not simply to toppen and as a stopover particularly recommendable! read hotel review
