Everglades City Motel^{(2.5 stars)}

Clean and well furnished motel in the middle of Everglades city. Particularly the bathroom with polished marble sink and spiegelblanken, black marble tiles in the shower it to us had done. Otherwise the usual motel amenities with a fridge, microwave, 2 king-size beds, a table and 2 chairs. A small coffee machine was also available. The location is great, because of the central location you can various trails head or airboat or swamp buggy-tours. The town itself does not have all too lots to offer, but an evening walk is certainly worth it. The during our 20 day trip triggered ... motels, was this clearly to the better. By the location in the middle of the Everglades and the lack of competition, it was however also not inexpensive. The food is directly next to it a restaurant, but we at least for dinner - not recommend want to. read more

It is not cheap but really worth every penny. A dream-bathroom is also available. A pool would be a great place but with so many mosquitoes unfortunately not feasible. In direct neighborhood is delicious food to really great prices and a airboat tour is here a must and direct neighborhood possible. Definitely again this great motel. read more

Beautiful, typical and freshly renovated motel with 21 rooms. The rooms are well equipped with microwave, fridge, Eiskessel, iron and ironing board, etc. Very nice bathroom with hair dryer. Discounted and good breakfast in the restaurant next door. Savings on jorrocks. Dougs Airboat tours. read more

The motel was located directly at the main street but the fact that it is more like a quiet city (village) is, Ste it at night very quiet. The grounds are very well-maintained. The rooms are somewhat noisy but very nice. The bathroom was very big and above all the shower was really great. Is a small nice motel where oh the window equipped with moskitonets are otherwise the nights of horror. We were in April and this is the beginning of the mosquito time. read more

This hotel was our first stop on our Florida trip. We were there for three days and loved our time spent at the motel and we really enjoyed in Everglades city, above all it was nice and quiet. The motel has free Wi-Fi and a so-called Tiki with gas grill and sufficient seat possibilities. Food is not offered in the motel, but directly beside the motel there is a cafe/restaurant where you have breakfast at reasonable prices and warm meals can. For the visit to the west side of the Everglades National park and the Grand Cypress state parks this house in Everglades city selected. the front desk is located in a small building direct at the street. The reception was very friendly and the lady has us tips given. We would unprepared arrived and do not have our exact program had, then that would be a real help former. the rooms are all on the ground floor the L-shaped built House and as with motels usual parking direct in front of the rooms. The rooms are not especially large but ... functional equipped. What a bit annoying was the pretty loud air conditioning in the room, the one therefore to sleep not switched on can and if you open window sleeping, which we if always possible do, is the fact that the window no choice Mückengitter have a real downside. Even in the December there are more than enough this annoying creatures in the room, unthinkable if you season have. the room features next to the beds on a desk, a fridge and a coffee machine with bag. the bathroom was really worth mentioning. We were more than astonished when we looked at. Absolutely new and of a class, in a far higher taxierten house would expect, the is at least a large plus. breakfast on the picnic area of the motel as other guests done have. Eaten we our own things from the supermarket in the place, whose selection however not exhilarating but quite expensive. the house is very clean and in our opinion the recommendation in town.
