Nice stay, friendly stuff, good breakfast. Near skilifts/ train ,bus. Hotel gives you good possibilitys to choose any skiing area in Grindelwald easily. Shops and restaurants nearby- but quite expensive like the whole Switzerland at the moment. read more

Friendly, competent hosts, the time take for the guest. The hotel is great central location. Simple but cozy atmosphere, very clean. Delicious, big breakfast. Furthermore, the guest free access to the indoor pool and ice rink, the in 5 minutes on foot distance. We recommend the hotel tschuggen and will definitely go back there again. read more

The hotel is ideally located in the city center. Only few minutes on foot to the train station or to the cable car. The room had a balcony with a view of the North Face of the Eiger. Our host has us in all questions friendly and happy to help. We had the half board in the hotel Eiger booked. The hotel lies opposite. The 3-course menu was perfect. read more

For hikers couple or friends, without children, is this hotel great. The rooms with a balcony are sufficiently Large and functional furnished. One view on eiger and mettenberg -beautiful. The innkeepers are very Friendly and helpful. As not -familiar with the place you will for upcoming hikes very good advices. The location of the hotel is good. To the train station it is 5 minutes on foot. It is the starting point for the most important Funicular railways. Shops are close. Free hotel's own parking spaces are available. read more

The rooms are very clean, quiet and practically furnished. We had a spectacular view on the eiger and neighboring mountains. In the hotel there is a good and big breakfast for hikers. The about the hotel offered half board in the opposite nearby hotel eiger is excellent, there is a very friendly and ... attentive staff.     As hikers we obviously extensive leisure facilities ( for example sport center) little used. Very good designed Heimatmuseum and a excellent piano concert in the church comforted we have a rainy day. The shopping facilities are ( in particular even for hikers) very good. A supermarket is opposite.

Very good for a three-star hotel. The rooms are functional and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, only there unfortunately at all 8 days the same sausage- and cheese. We were however due to the central location and the breathtaking views made up for that. read more

We had a room with a balcony and therefore direct views of the Eiger, the alone was the first highlight. A second highlight: the breakfast, it leaves no wish unfulfilled, rolls, fresh bread, Croissants, always various sorts of atmosphere, cold cuts, fresh fruit, tomatoes, gherkins and the first-class bircher muesli. Successful the day can not start. The rooms are functionally furnished and very comfortable. The aforementioned view from the balcony aUS, has wonderful hiking once again pleasantly rounded. In 5 minutes you are in the town center, where also the central train station is. The trains leave all places (lauterbrunnen, Interlaken and so on) gutl reach, so that we the car at the hotel options. I would in any case Grindelwald a destination prefer and can therefore this hotel only most warmly mention. read more

The price-performance was right here in any case. Informal small hotel with a very nice hosts and staff. Perfect location in the center of the village. Friendly and comfortable room. Happily time and time again! read more
