We had, although only as a couple arrived - a family room received. Nice and spacious with a separate bedroom and a balcony. Ironing board/iron, coffee maker, safety deposit box, every day two liters of mineral water, refrigerator, tv (next to dw also various us tv station ) in the bedroom. In the bathroom everything available, what the people need. Shampoo etc. Can confidently at home if you wanted. Daily change of towels/bettwäschejeden 2. day. There is age traces visible. But you can in the room quite comfortable. Cleaning is good.

The air-conditioned main restaurant was closed (for lack of guests). We found it but also much nicer, in the open beach restaurant food. In the weekly change there were theme evenings, but not all the dishes repeated, so that also with a 2-week vacation no weariness arises. In spite of the small number of guests was once a week lunch at the beach in addition a barbecue and friday for the gala dinner at the beach set-super nice. Yes and the pesky birds it in the restaurant - there helps only scare away.

All employees, whether go or waiters/roomgirls/front desk were great super nice. The room was properly cleaned. In the club med are no tips usual. The maid a leg abgefreut on a few Dollar and also the waiters, the already on the 2. evening knew, that we gladly white wine and soda instead of flat water very over a small attention looking forward to it. Internet is extra (circa 45 Euro the week); since the purchase problems with the wochenzugang gave, we just the day present and could on the next day the map for one week buy - very friendly service. We had no complaints. Foreign languages: club med is now even a french club. With english you great through. French and/or spanish are however helpful. If you only speak german, the we would urge, this club to book. The furtniture in limits.

Who club med bay has a huge choice of sports : Tennis, all kinds of water, archery, trapezturnen, Volleyball, petanque, stretching, Zumba, aerobics, dance courses... And everything takes place, with so few guests. We had afternoon Zumba course with a participant-kudos. In other hotels there is lack of guests nothing. Nice big pool with comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas. The shade at the beach is not so great for sun sensitive. The kids club is huge with all the entertainment for the little ones. The shows are wonderful : for example 'the wizzard of oz' or trapezshow in the pool (two go's already in the cirque de soleil working) were great. There are professional shows, even if possibly only 50 spectators are there. With large commitment - 'huge cinema '.

The club can determine 1800 guests, distributed on several buildings record. The complex is huge and in a very nice park integrated. Everything was good clean and tidy kept. Booked premium all-inclusive premium spirits cost extra-but the costs still as a part of hold. The guests mostly came from France. A few germans, belgians, isrälis, south americans. We were in the great about 300 guests at the end of the 180-as in paradise. Loud regular guests are in september never more guests. In july/august in the franz. Summer holidays is the club but clean.

The shuttle from the airport takes only 10 minutes (aircraft noise was very within limits). But you have to be aware, that the club somewhere in the middle of nowhere is. Walking is nothing within walking distance and the excursions about the club are expensive. The club area was located in a defined/fenced area 'club cana' with very exclusive villas. Two very nice beaches are directly in the club: a for swimming/swimming, the other for all kinds of water. Jetski and similar noisemakers there is thank god not

This would be the weak point, but this is also typical fro Club Med too. You are just there to sleep actually.

Beware to practice enough sports to burn all calories....

I can only say this was a great vacation. Warm welcome at the airport and then at the Club (very short shuttle time 10 minutes and NO planes noise). The good-bye was even warmer, you had the feeling that you are leaving friends... Rooms are very nice, not luxurious, but fonctionnal and very adapted for families : extra room for young kids, big shower, 2 basins, big dressing with safe, very good bed quality (and I am really difficult...). The village is beautiful, you also feel very safe, as security guards are always running around in this hugh place. Food : excellent, nothing to claim. The gala evening is really nice :-) Sure there are some birds in the Hispaniola restaurant, but to be honnest, I had expected it worse by reading some comments before flying there. If you want an open restaurant (and this is wonderful), there are some small compromises to do... I could tell hours long about this excellent vacation, but I would like to point out the people who really make the difference. The GO are really fantastic, all of them. Special mention for the MINI CLUB and the Team (Juju, Lulu, Andrea, Ocean and ...Tom-Tom of course !) They were so involved and incredibly patient & nice with children, from morning til evening. I even saw Ocean chasing crabs with kids on her day-off ! Tom-Tom called our daughter on the stage (for the kids show) on the very first day : although the poor guy was sweating in his animal costume, he already knew her by name and had recognized her in the dark audience... Last but not least : Anna. Beautiful young Canadian woman, GO-nurse. Lovely person who did us the pleasure to share many meals with our family. None of us turned out to be sick during our week there, but if it happens to be the case, you can be sure that Anna will bring back a smile on your face. Thanks also to the Circus School team (Andrée, Ibby, etc): trapeze :-) We had a great time in Punta Cana, even if yes... there are mosquitos :-( Take enough stuff with you. Sure there is the "boutique" but prices are really accordingly... We left the village after a unforgettable week of vacation. Just so sorry that our camera was stolen during the night-flight back to Europe... Incredible but true... All our memories were gone, which was cruel, as our girls are still young and might forget with time. The Showtimepictures Team (thanks Terlan !) came to our rescue and they screened our complete week to find pictures of us and prepare a CD for us. This was a real favour (you are supposed to choose and buy your pictures on site) and we are so aware (and thankful) for this. I would love to go back, but I would surely choose again a quiet period like this one in October, because I really enjoyed this relaxed ambiance. The "fight" for free places at the pool in August is not so much fun I guess. Conclusion : OK, Club Med is not cheap at all, but you know what you get for your money. And this is worth it.

Excellent ! Close to the airport, very big hotel resort, but really taken care after (buildings, trees, etc).
