I agree with my 12-year old daughter for new year's eve holiday checked in. We wanted us a beautiful hotel allow for this special occasion. Since we maps for a event in the neighbouring messearena had. After that we arrived at about 10:30 p. m. to the hotel back. There was a new year's eve party with buffet instead of.
Since we were hungry, we wanted in there restaurant or in the bar some food, impossible we were told, due to the new year's eve party.
We were right next to a unbelievable massive buffet, the local tables arch ... formal under the weight of the constructed food. When we asked, if we get something to eat could get (naturally against payment) we we. Even the restaurant manager gave us turned away, we felt like beggars and people 2. class and that in a 5 star hotel, so a bit impudent is me in all the long travel never happened. So with hungry stomach to bed, my daughter wept and a new year's eve.
The next morning it went then to the breakfast buffet, it was on the whole ok, however there was except toast bread, from rolls missing any track, after multiple requests we were told, there was no rolls. As we noticed again nothing more. Never again! read more

For a city trip or for business trips an ideal hotel right next to the fair. The rooms are very spacious also in the standard and the single rooms are double room for single use.
Everything new and still no sign of wear. Cleanliness was everywhere guaranteed. Service in the restaurant in the morning and evenings very good. The quality and the volume was also above average.
The à-la-carte restaurant with its prices but hard on the threshold of a 4 star hotel (ceasar salad about 20 Euro)

The fruit juices are of the best quality, even sparkling wine is available. For a four -stars superior-hotel offers this breakfast more than for this class expected standard. The location is great, directly holiday inn oceanfront and bars/restaurant mile from food.
Since everything was absolutely new, everything is great well maintained.
We had booked accommodation with breakfast, this leaves no but really nothing to be desired.

Have me as a part of a fair two weeks in this hotel and was more than satisfied. The room was for German standards huge and very tastefully equipped. The bed could I would have Brough forward, so comfortable it was. The bathroom was also great, with a big shower and everything, what else do you need. Very good breakfast buffet, on appropriate weather also outside take and nice bar with separate smokers lounge.
The location of the hotel is also excellent: right next to fair and gruga, the Rüttenscheider street with many restaurants and shops within walking distance in ... five minutes to reach. I recommend the Atlantic in any case further! read more

We were as a part of the action ' in your city ' in this hotel for one night. I can really recommend it to everyone. The rooms are nicely equipped and the bathroom with the rainforest shower is dreamlike. The breakfast buffet was one of the best which i've ever had.
Furthermore, a great service at the reception and at the bar. Next year we will stay at the action and here one night spend. read more

I have the Atlantic Congress hotel in Essen as exhibitors of Deubau 2012 met and can it only recommend.
first impression: very friendly Front desk, spacious lobby, a highly recommended restaurant with a bar and smoking lounge. Small downside: the stylish and large fireplace in the lobby with ethanol businesses and the smell.

The hotel has 248 rooms. The rooms are modernly decorated and very good condition (the hotel was only at the beginning of of 2010 constructed). The room was clean. The room service would thorough may be. But it was all in all okay. The hotel features a restaurant, a bar and a wine bar. In the case our visit was only open the bar. The cocktails were very good, the food or snacks were not. For a frozen you were charged 11 euros. The prices therefore in the upper level. The guests were international. For conferences the hotel is also ... very suitable. Sufficient premises are available. A small, but fine SpA and gym area was also.
