The hotel Iberotel is very centrally located at the Nile location. Ideal starting point for sightseeing of all kinds! The number of rooms is me not well-known but in january was the hotel only at about 30% occupied. The guest structure was very multicolored mixed. Every nationality and age group was there. For handicapped access in the outdoor area to the pool quite difficult and only accessible over steps. If one does not attach importance on luxury on vacation sets, however rather on the 'normal' then you are in the right hotel. And for a city trip i would this ... hotel always book it again! read more

We were 12 days in this hotel. The staff are very friendly. The cleanliness in the room was a catastrophe, so we from the 2. day no staff in the room let. The 'do-not-disturb-sign' hung permanently on our door. Nevertheless entered you our room, why also always. Of course we have the floor with white towels equipped, not walk barefoot on the dreckteppich to walk. Thus we realized immediately the foreign footprints and complained. From then on we had peace before fremdlingen in the room \u263a.
When we in the room arrived, we had to us to some extent clean ... bed sheets give, because we have not used bed sheets wanted to sleep.
It wasn't beach hotel. So, you should also all strandhotelttypischen expectations at home leave. Nevertheless it is a good starting point, to daily explorations to make. The food is for so many days very monotonous and i looking forward regularly on the breakfast, because when honigbrötchen of you couldn't do much wrong.!
Luxor is a very dirty city. However completely Egypt this dirt and trash. Nevertheless it pleased us very well. We knew of the country and could the location already before comparison and on the main focus.
Unfortunately, that the egyptians their culture not really honor. A dump after the other, in the middle in the cities and in the temples and museums.
It was now my 3. trip through Egypt about holiday check. de. The country i know now quite good and it is now two times something else to look at \u263a.
Who further real information required, simply send me an e-mail.

Room:
First we got a room the covered air-conditioned inside of the hotel, in the smoking was allowed. We moved immediately the room and were given one on the street.
The room card was defect twice.
The safe didn't work and had to be exchanged. Please note: it is only with a screw in built-in cupboard attached!
The balcony door didn't shut properly and was twice unsuccessfully repair.
Light in the bathroom worked several times.
By location facing the street very noise- and geruchsintensiv! Even when closed balcony door a lot of traffic noise.
We were also by street vendors ... on balcony harassed, despite location on the 4th floor.
Hotel general:
The hotel's location is great, so you can for example in a couple of minutes for luxortempel on foot walking.
Division in the hotel itself and the outside facilities are well divided. It offers amongst others on a beautiful breakfast terrace. Gradual division with sun and shaded spots, fountain (the unfortunately not ran) and pleasant plants, two à la carte - restaurants ( use only on advance reservation and for at a charge despite all inclusive) and Nile-ship ( unfortunately anyway not really usable) down to the lying off people swimming in the water pool.
Guests, the disability, may unfortunately - with exception the breakfast terrace- outside area and pool didn't use it, since this only over stairs, respectively the pool over a footbridge, reachable are.
Staff:
Unfortunately no knowledge of German
Strict allocation of tasks which however also large waiting times arise
Partly badly dressed, partly also dirty clothes with the serving staff
Most inattentive in relation to service and clearing of the table-ware
A handful of positive exceptions there were
Catering: Resembles a disaster!
All inclusive-guests are not gladly seen and this notices one unfortunately also!
Breakfast, lunch and dinner there are in buffet form.
There is unfortunately only very little choice of meals, the neither reasonable signposted, still be refilled.
Breakfast and lunch are almost every day the same.
The dinner supposed to be daily be country-specific (french, british, local, etc.), whereas this difference unfortunately only difficult to understand.
Please note: to next meal gives it the wiederaufbearbeiteten leftovers of the previous day!
Also 3 times!
The sandwich was a P los angeles s t I C F A D E N!
Furthermore there were at least eight guests by bad food flat!
My girlfriend was by a only teeth the food a whole day long flat and had the whole night long passed. Afterwards nourished only from water and juices.
Pool:
The pool itself is ok. However freezing and for older guests not usable.
Beach chairs should be replaced. Mostly worn out, so you have to take the hard tie bars expectations. You flip on foot. The headboards fynde frößtenteils and work top, once you different down. Sometimes screw out.
Towel service inclusive. However these are not daily washed and then nevertheless at other guests newly issued.
Changing rooms stinks strong.
Pool bar with snacks, the unfortunately first from the hotel be collected.
Railing in all aspects available. But unfortunately rusty, respectively from splitterndem wood and with cobwebs covered, the not be removed.
For children is the pool rather unsuitable.
Activities in the hotel:
Not available
Except for half an hour pool and a ping-pong table on the terrace read more

I was for the first time in the hotel, but it can always recommend. Very nice. Despite room to the street no noise. Staff nice and friendly, but it is despite several German hardly any speak German.
The food, nA ja breakfast was okay and everything there. Evenings it was not my case. Dessert always only sweet pies not even fruit and so on
However brilliant was the pool, in the middle of the Nile. It felt like you were in a Nile-ship. Great. Some write they were harassed and turned on, I can't say I could in peace relax. ...
The hotel I will again next year visit. read more

Our trip to Egypt in March 2012
For the period March 2011 we had planned a Egypt-trip already once, but by the circumstances in Egypt we could these horrible conditon at not shut. We had arranged a combo trip, which is a stay of 7 days on a Nile-ship provided, and then a stay of 7 days iberotel luxor in luxor.
The over FTI for 2012 booked trip was described as follows: flight with XG on Hurghada ( without having to change) after luxor, 7 nights on board the MS Emely with full board, then 7 nights in the four ... star hotel Iberotel, all inclusive, double room with Nile view. Return flight with XG on Hurghada ( without having to change, but with off because of night anchor, noisy crew are changes possible ).
The' move' after the 7 days in the above-mentioned hotel worked without complaints. The registration was fast and easy. Very little employee of the hotel the German language skills were, is a bit of English/ arabic very helpful. We got a beautiful room in the fourth floor with a wonderful Nile view. We could every morning at 06:30 Hours the start and the drive of hot-air balloons watch. On a clear day view (quite rare) were details the west bank to see and a lot have photographed the Nile-ships. In our Project plan was also a trip with a balloon provided. After we but the brouhaha several times our balcony had looked at, we found, that the balloon successfully and but also little can be successful. We want our impressions here not describe -on request like-also with pictures. With two autonomous car-trips with driver we saw, except land and people, still additionally the temples' Medinet Habu '(30. 00 le) and the' Dandara temple ' (35. 00 le) to.
The hotel lies at the end the waterfront, nearby of the friends hotels 'winter Palace'. Luxor temple (the entrance is on the side of the city shifted), the tourist bazaar/Souk and in the renovation the Aries street, the in future continuous to the Karnak temple lead you (the work were set probably currently), is is a few minutes walk away. Previously the dankende rejection is offered calashes coachman and taxi drivers through (loud tour operator is at the moment no support from the police to expect ). Back to the hotel. A lot is in this hotel with good or very good. This concerns for example the cleanliness in all areas, the garden-terrace, the floating swimming pool with couches and a kiosk, as well as the mentioned location. Opposite the Gesamtverpflegung on MS' magic II ' but were considerable drawbacks. Well, we can construct still a bit, but was not the hit. Wi-Fi and internet is in the hotel available and is against a fee available. In our room was a kettle, tea -, coffee- and Zuckerbeutel available. If needed a refill took place. A older TV, with a variety of international programs including amongst others ZDF was also available.
For some days we see the hotel as suitable to. read more

My wife and I stayed at the Iberotel and thought the hotel was excellent.
Only downside was the poor, low key entertainment in the bar in the evenings.
Shops, restaurants etc. not rated as it is a nightmare to venture out into Luxors streets - (Hassle,Hassle, hassle, hassle,)
Something must be done about this as it will deter even more potential visitors to Egypt ! read more

The location of the hotel is a big plus. Directly at the beginning of the Nile-promenade. Within walking distance to the luxor temple. Not so inner-city crowded and built up as many other hotels. Room with a view of the Nile and garden very good. The staff spoke very good English and sometimes even a little bit German. Very friendly and helpful. Food in buffet form is good. Quality. Garden and pool are well maintained. The rooms are neat, clean and well-kept. The guests were well mixed. All in all positive. Price/performance ratio. Compared in their ability to communicate in ... a highly recommended hotel. For those who want more just a five star hotel with the corresponding price surcharge book. read more

I liked this hotel especially fallen because of its in terraces laid out garden the Nile down. On the Nile was a boat, the as a hotel-pool converted was, so you could almost in the Nile swim. Evenings it was lovely in the Nile to sit and Lime juice to drink (the is delicious ) the rooms to the street out very badly soundproofed and late at night we had a considerable amount of traffic noise. Our room was rather small and functional, but the bathroom although not large, but very beautiful and perfectly reasonable.
I would at any time ... choose this hotel again, because it charm has, the breakfast and buffet in the evening delicious were and it for inspections ideally located. read more

Hotel iberotel Luxor we visited Luxor twice a year and were glad, that we had a good 'winter home' found. See our reports 'surprise ',' 27 years after No ',' disappointment is still good, but.' The satisfaction has changed but April 2011 fast. Staff was always very friendly and helpful, but that was all. The management of the hotel has failed total. It was shortly after the revolution (in front of the hotel there was a tanks) and it was 'Save ' announced. The manager of the hotel has us proud, that not only the entire staff ... has set, but staff, because many people were unemployed (lack of tourists). This is, without question, very classy behavior, if-if not at the tourists. Despite so much staff, we have our curtains (we had always found the same room) so, as half a year ago-with blood splatters. To save money was only one elevator in operation, which led to very long waiting times. The food, especially lunch, was very moderate. It was always the case, very often and in my view, to lunch, groups from Hurghada, or ships come. On the days the selection and quality of the food was always bad, but this time it was terrible. So we have, with a heavy heart, of iberotel for ever. read more

From the moment we arrived and were giving a personal 'walk round' the hotel by one of the exceptionally helpful and competent reception staff until the moment we left, this hotel managed to exceed our expectations in all areas. The food and variety of dishes was excellent and served by friendly waiters in clean comfortable surroundings with the choice of 4 themed restaurants on the hotel grounds. Bar staff were equally friendly and courteous, the rooms were clean and spacious and the Nile views were breathtaking Security was in evidence but this was good to see and even the security ... guards were polite and friendly. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for all the staff at the hotel and in recommending this hotel I would like to thank the hotel management and staff for making our stay pretty much near perfect - (Why do they not have 5 stars?)
