Room great, very good food, location and the beach very good. Waiters during dinner, his name was fidi absolute great, dining room for dinner too big and yet too small: long ways to the buffet, no individual tables, always with four or more people, no quiet and relaxing comfort during dinner since there was no table for oneself has, probably due to to lots of guests and too few space. Even at breakfast, partly no tables available, as lots of guests, thus wait until a table becomes free. So i imagine no vacation breakfast before. The hotel is way too ... big, too much room too much guests too few place at the meal times. Probably the more guests ever more revenue, no matter wether the guests then place, rather strange philosophy, and no prospects for a renewed urlaubsbesuch. Service with one exception in the bar lòasis without view for the guests. You sit relaxed half an hour and more without to be served. Best one goes to the counter and ordered. Probably the staff is so stopped, so that the all-inclusive guests not too much consume to save costs. Was my 8. Tunisia holiday, for example Djerba, mahdia, sfax, El Jem, monastir and so on must say hammamed and hotel were so far most negative for me. Will this region very probably not any longer visit.
Ps: maids and waiters fidi were the absolutely positive experience, i must again praise, and which i gladly a little tip. Greetings to both. read more

I would have been over 30 years in this former beautiful and friendly country and have already some holidays with ' solar and drawbacks' in the Sentido phenicia spent.
The hotel phenica was once one of the top addresses in the region Hammamet.
Also today nor the hotel has has a certain charm but also many 'construction'. Suffers from but as the whole country to follow the jasminrevolution in 2010. The status after almost 2 years very deteriorated. The unemployment rate is about 18% and so is the deposited atmosphere in this once beautiful country.
As all guests, i am ... at a very reasonable price to Tunisia to this hotel old. The price paid in accordance with the services were all-inclusive, rooms with beautiful view of the bay from Hammamet good.
There were many changes and improvements which i liked it.
Cocktails before dinner in the evening and 2 mealtimes relieve the main restaurant.
The guest structure was 80% english, german, french and at the weekend tunisian guests.
Each guest the for this hotel decide must its own gain experience. read more

Hotel with a neatly arranged number of rooms. The rooms are very spacious. My double room was on arrival in the evening in respect to cleanliness definitely not in top condition. An indication at the front desk changed suddenly the next morning. Wireless internet does not exist on the rooms but otherwise almost everywhere in the hotel. The average age of the guests was at about 50 years. German and english were in the majority. read more

Hello to everyone smoking guests!
The hotel phenicia is a good middle class hotel - all inclusive-food is okay-only the rooms are very shabby and a little dingy. The beach area is really very nice and the service in almost all areas is true-if you enough give a tip.
The phenicia is the smoke only in the open permitted.
Room-/entrance/bar and discobereich are absolutely non-smoking-of course the restaurant. The places on the terrace are very limited and the few places are mostly occupied by non-smoking. In the summer this is of course not a problem however in the winter months ... not very pleasant-especially if it rains times!.
The hotel is in any case a family hotel, for traveling alone not suitable!
The animation is an impertinence, they are only very pleasant, if a survey of the guests next-otherwise encourage this people anyone, especially not if you are over 40 is - a great shame.
So, dear single smoking singles-the phenicia we may not, because otherwise you would for us a spot bare, where we in peace our cigarette smoke could read more

Rooms good size, clean and tidy, really well equipped (fridge, tv, air conditioning, bathroom with a shower and a tub, balcony with functional furnishings. All-inclusive services, consistently good and varied food and drinks. Atmosphere rather domän, hervorgeho - bener service with distinct friendly and amiable-ness (also without trinkgeldgebaren!) Predominantly germans, english and french! Average of the guests around 40 to 60 years. You can get a quiet and relaxing vacation spend. For kleininder less suitable! read more

The salesmen at the beach are very pushy and annoying. With some one can 100 times decline and they turn widen for example a fruit into your hand and require money, although you still not even bitten off has. Quite cheeky so beware! I was allowed to me even of a man of the camel rides are offered care program, because i not on his camel riding wanted.
Cleanliness was bearable. I found the cleaning detergent quite pungent and in the public toilets it smelled quite unpleasant. I am not a soul the picky is however from and i that ... icky spread.
Well the food. The normal buffet was always quite the same. Many us 4 not tasty. However, i have to the theme restaurants-here you got for converted 5 €a delicious 3 course menu including drinks.
Large minus in the room my best girlfriend crawled under the ceiling-rats?
Our rooms stayed in the 'basement' and just smelled it also-musty-
The beds are not the best. Our double bed consisted of two small mattresses-which cuddle was always in the chink what nothing special was pleasant.
The hotel complex besides that was perfect beautiful and a great landscaped gardens.
Additionaly i must the staff praise. Very friendly and helpful.
Especially i was excited by the stable. A ride at the beach and through the 'botanical garden' is really recommendable.
And my greatest respect get the entertainers! Every evening different shows. The can really much different and speak minimum 3 different languages. Great entertainment.
Since i this region in Tunisia and this hotel not again want to visit i recommend it also not further. read more

This is unfortunately not more 'our' phenicia, the phenicia, the wirseit about 14 years know. Especially since the introduction of all inclusive the hotel has at charm, atmosphere and originality lost. Drunken islanders already at noon, one-hour, hectic dinner ( surrounded from pushy swimwear and badeschuheträgern ) from the sight normal, chic fellow guests and very attentive staff compensation. Why these muskelshirtträger not from the management to the existing dress code out? Also the food quality has in the last few years suffered - no wonder in light of the prices, the many fellow holidaymakers be paid. It should be ... possible, the hotel at a reasonable price only with overnight stay with breakfast to book, it would be an option to return, since we were most time the top! golfoptionen and us on citrus amuse. A very large, but nevertheless well managed clean hotel with a wonderful complex. Everyday the rooms were on high Polish and the interior was older, but very well maintained. The rooms were generously cut for a double room. This statement refers to the older bautrakt. The staff were very accommodating and always in a good mood and helpful. The complex was also cleaned every day and you could in any case on a lounger by the pool or at the beach it. The food was varied and varied. The breakfast was for us the absolute highlight. Unfortunately there was just ... a problem during dinner. Since, as at the start described the hotel many rooms has, and the hotel while we were there was fully booked, we had to two layers for an evening meal. It was the time of one hour narrow around relaxed dinner. The audience was quite pleasant and polite. No matter which nationality and age. In all a hotel which one each time recommend. read more

The hotel is with almost 400 room large, but by his massive complex, several pool areas, restaurants, bars and a excellent beach spread the audience excellent. The service was great, the employees very friendly and accommodating, and it wasn't missing anything. Particularly the spacious and clean beach section it was to mention, but also the daily as a large selection available dream food in the all inclusive.
Too many accommodates the hotel German, austrians, English, french, spanish and some locals. The rooms as well as all furnishings of the hotel were clean and tidy. Only the large lobby there could ... be a little nicer. read more

After we last year had a suite, was this year of course only a room available. That one calls the complaints on high level. We were this year very satisfied. Our young daughter has despite almost only English kids felt really good. We would however not again in September -it was just too crowded. Especially in the restaurant. The is however really the only thing, that I want to criticize. If nearly all tables are occupied, is a 'torture' by the tables and chairs to whine, only to the buffet to come. Since you lose the desire about the food. ... The hotel is mainly (80%) of English visited-but don't worry-no chavs. The complex is in spite of the many guests very quiet. Wonderful hotel with beautiful pool area, always very clean held perfect with star.
Room were cleaned thoroughly every day, but they are perfectly run-down terrible.
Furniture scratched walls heavily stained selikonfugen schiemlig, dirty balcony/ bathroom.
Corridors very dark carpets dirty.
Food! Almost everything ergendwie without any taste, bland, also that locals food.
( hardly any meat 2 times chicken, 1 times lamb)
Well over tastes let yourself quarrel, but nothing for us.
A second time it must not be! read more

Maintenance is not 'large' written (calcified taps, definitely balcony door, shower not quite functional...) , cleanliness could be a bit more to be taken ( stains wall and curtain, dust in corners).
Daily room service hard ( beds beautifully made, fresh towels...)
Choices of food and meal times very good (food at the beach very nice)
Very lovely beach but despite private beach very pushy salesmen.

I would the hotel every time to my best friends recommend. Details which is upsetted ( like for instance the stupid hair dryer in the bathroom or the two layers dinner) there is, but it is really just details!
The staff are very friendly ( even without tip) it is quite good speak German and a smile given.
For a diet the hotel is de facto unconsolidated, but tasted the food too good.
With the all inclusive golf ( Neckermann Sportsreise ) has unfortunately not worked well, as did not know the travel guide Answer. The concierge has then immediately ... cared, but the hotel's own complex invites you not really. read more

At night at o'clock we had to 4 times the room change there are hair on the pillows, blood respectively semen in bed, intimhaare in the shower, blood on the toilet and a butt imprint on the glass of the desk found.
The room changing was every time very difficult as the staff did not understand why we 'girls the for cleaning are responsible' not our vacation to deseam wanted.
Puke on the dark hallways was also another point of criticism.
The food was every time very bland and we were glad when the crepe stall opened.
Once and never ... again:-(

The clean four star hotel distributed on a large, park-like complex. We (19 and 25 yrs, tourism experts) have, like almost all of them found guests, the all inclusive-package. This entält all meal times in buffet form and drinks all day long at the three pools, as well as in the two restaurants. An evening with a -course menu is in the price included. The chinese themed restaurant ( against 10€ extra) we didn't use. The audience is about 50% from German, 30% british, 10% french and 10% guests other nationalities together. There was a minority of the typical all ... inclusive-guests, to which we do not include. The majority however is not remarkable loud, not drunk and also otherwise not clearly certain social strata apply. So quite pleasant company. Because we in the low season (04.-15.09.) were there, the average rather high age. In the high season are probably much more families to be met. read more
