Hotel approximately 10 minutes away from the main square, in a busy side street.
Very nice colonial style with courtyard and pool.
In the immediate vicinity take bus lines, therefore very loud.
After 22 o'clock the roads are outside the hotel very dark.
Breakfast (buffet) was included and more than enough (wide choice of cakes and pastries). read more

In my opinion it is not safe hotel. In the morning i had to find that my safe in the room was open and my credit cards and 500€ cash have been stolen. The management has not the incident cared. And also on request the tour operator not discussed. I can only warn in this hotel the valuables to store. I have in this hotel on 25 and 26-01-2013 stayed in read more

We have as a part of our Yucatan round trip two nights at the Gran Real Yucatan spent. The hotel has a wonderful inner courtyard, nicely landscaped and maintained.
Also the room we liked. The bed was large, with a beautiful Slipover, the bathroom clean and spacious enough. For breakfast, there is Mexican, as Quesadillas and plantains, but also delicious pancakes and French toast, also fruits and different sweet Particles. Since we sit outside could, it did not also disturb us, that the breakfast area was quite small.
The best about this hotel is however, that you about minutes in ... the middle in Merida was. And Merida was and above all in the evening really wonderful. All building lit, on the streets much is loose and LT our tour operator the safest city of Latin America.
So enjoy it, eat what delicious in the ' Pancho's' and watched the coaches in the streets. read more

Two nights of our trip spent we in the real Yucatan in Merida grand.
The hotel is located in a small side street close to the centre (to foot: five minutes) away.
the rooms in the Caribbean style were friendly colorful equipped. In addition to two Queen beds with a desk, a closet with safe, as well as a tv available.
The lobby was bright and open to the top with lots of palm trees. For breakfast you sit at long tables. The breakfast was disappointing for this hotel, but we are not starved!
for dinner it is in the ... center of the city sufficient Range of small restaurants, the delicious Mexican food or snacks are served. read more

during our trip we had a night in Merida at the Gran real Yucatan. It is very centrally located, just a few minutes walk from centre away. The surrounding area is as in most Mexican cities, many people, the run or wish to sell. Our rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel offers a small pool, the hardly anyone used and free Internet access. The breakfast buffet was very limited, there were only small pieces of French loaf and sweet bread With jam, coffee for yourself, as well as juice. A longer period I would stay in the hotel. We ... ate in the restaurant in the main street Plaza Hidalgo a great pizza, you can sit out there very nice. read more

5 stars are on the outside of the hotel! Why? Two maximum three stars would be adequate. We were there with a large group and the room where the breakfast buffet was much too small. The breakfast was also a disaster. hardly selection and what there was, was not tasty. Furthermore, we were woken up from the accused a towel with hair dye to and pay for this. Not only that we didn't have the hair dyed, it was red color and I am black-haired and my girlfriend was fair. There was no apology from the management. We were robbed ... in the room, it was 'only ' nail polish, but you still had a bad feeling. read more

We were on an organized tour for two nights in this hotel and with the facilities, cleanliness and the rooms were very satisfied. Despite a very central location from the street noise nothing and beds were very comfortable. Within walking distance many cozy restaurants and interesting shops. Governor Palace and the market hall are worth a visit.
A big minus point is the breakfast, if two groups at once, a huge mess! Some have also due to damaged butter and scrambled eggs the stomach. read more

The staff is completely out of it, no one knows what he wants to do. With complaints happened only times for a long time even nothing, before someone could help but at some point. View to the backyard-if you like it. Breakfast could have been better. read more

A from the outside vacuous Hotel turned out to be from the inside and a little gem.
A wonderful inner courtyard invites you to linger.
the rooms are good equipped and lovingly decorated. The beds were super comfortable, the hotel is quiet, the neighbors I nothing heard, or I had no?
Breakfast, well; well, one was full, but a little more variety would not have gone amiss.
Central Location, nearby Bars and restaurants. read more
