The hotel sparkles with the central location to all the attractions of the old town. Ideal! The hotel is clean and very quiet, in spite of the central location. No street noise. The morning call to prayer can hear from the blue mosque you for light sleep. The bathroom is a bit tight, but it has a built-in hammam, which is very nice. The room was decent size, the tv also ZDF and RTL. The beds are only 90 centimeter, but with good mattress. The breakfast is for german standards rather poor. Only white bread to cut, only a little ... bit sausage and cheese and strange. The coffee is great. In warm weather you can sit outside and enjoy the sun. You have a view of the marmara sea on the houses. The restaurant is the breakfast room. The selection is limited but ok and tasty. However, we were only 1 time meal here. Annoying was only the night departure. We had to very, very early to the airport. Arabic (?) couple with two small children on 30 minutes until 12:00 p. m. talking very loudly in the hallway. The reception can hear the everything, but over the whole time was not inclined to make for peace. After the half hour when i called the front desk and then he asked the parents, their children in the room. In the morning we wanted to also have a sandwich and ordered wake-up calls. We were 15 minutes late were not waked - breads available. A shame, but that made our stay a bit negative influences. Otherwise everything was ok. The staff spoke english, however no german, although at least during our stay. 50% the guests from Germany arrived. Despite the wrecked hotel services at the end i would recommend this hotel. To sleep was impossible. The re read hotel review

The hotel is in a great location directly behind the blue mosque, Hagia Sophia (10 - minute walk! Everything important is nearby: shops, restaurants, large bazaar (15 - minute walk away), public transport Rooms very clean, but a bit small and not very sound proof. The bathroom had a small hamam. But lead, that the bathrooms are very small, you can barely move around. Breakfast standard, nothing special, it was always the same. The top-location is the key! Well-kept city hotel! read hotel review

The service is exemplary. Everything is spotlessly clean, the relatively small rooms every day freshly cleaned. It is undermining you automatically the personal preferences of the guests on. The landlady from noticed, that the pillow was too low and me a 2. mood, before i could say. There is also a 2. blankets-sheets, whom the one large duvet for both is not enough. The beds are relatively hard laid out, which is a plus, as it is only a mattress for two people, and so the nightly movement of the partner not all to disturb much. Rather mind the reputation ... of the mopeds at 5 o'clock, it is recommended for sensitive ears a few ear plugs, in the bath these include (including flip flops). The bathroom is as turkish hammam laid out. This means, that in the tiny, semi-circular marble-frequency rooms a rather large marble vanities under the fixtures (no single-hole lav!) Depends, which a quantity of the hardly existing capacity away. The bother with the shower very. The pools sometimes fully, but no drain. There is only a shower curtain and a deep ablaufrille, the floods will prevent, which of course cannot function. The everything looks very quaint, but very inconvenient. The rooms are lovingly and stylishly furnished. The view from the only restaurant in the old town and the golden horn is breathtaking! There is a small interior with the buffet and the bar and a large outdoor area with different tiered terraces. Breakfast is served from 7:30 until 10:30 a. m.. However, if you sleep late, gets from 9 hours no simmit more, the delicious sesamgebäck. Overall, the breakfast buffet rich, but a certain chill. The scrambled eggs was rather a pale scrambled eggs soup, the, as well as the obligatory poultry sausages as speckersatz, as well as the roasted spinach and the small vegetable böreks not warm. Boiled eggs were hard as a board. There is a type of sausage with pistachios and a formschinkenähnliches a bit. The typical turkish pastirna - rinderschinken was missing however. But the cheese huge, as well as the fruit (unfortunately no figs) and the sweet department with numerous jams, cereals and small sweets. Twice we were there in the evening food. The first excellent (and cheaper than in the surrounding restaurants), the 2 time disappointing. Probably is because of the duty chef.

The friendliness was, as almost everywhere in Istanbul, excellent and no little twee. Here you are really, the guest to serve. With english one gets ahead well, but the people, if you have a few words in turkish mood has. The room cleaning was exemplary and attentive. The mawkish smell of a cleaner (or air a refreshment throughout) disturbed us a bit. There were no complaints, but our wishes were fulfilled immediately.

The Sultan Ahmet palace is one of the nicest smaller hotels in Istanbul. We have some other hotels, the beautifully arranged were, but not one was so magical. The former sultan palace is lovingly restored and is also lovingly maintained. The location is spot on. Right below the blue mosque, and not too far below the slope, like many other small hotels. So you don't have to long walk to the main attractions (2 minutes) and to the tram stop (5 minutes), from where you can easily and cheaply anywhere (two stations further is the main ferry terminal). Necessarily Istanbul-card at the jetonmatic machine book!) The view from the restaurant across the old town and the golden horn is breathtaking!

We had us because of the high far recommendation rate decided for this hotel. Optically a really nice house, the location is really absolute class to describe. One comes in 3 minutes for all attractions. Therefore in addition is you in about 5 minutes in the middle in the getümmel. What really negative in this hotel noticeable was the rudeness of the staff at the reception and in the restaurant. The only ones who always! Very friendly were, were the maids. The restaurant in the morning not with a large choice of meals. There one could say, that it for ... one week also not so important. In addition but also, that the table itself de ken had. It was not even remotely cutlery on the tables to see. For a 4.5 star hotel NO GO! From 7.30 there was breakfast, but there was still not for a long time everything on the already clear buffet. Who in the morning very early los wanted to see everything, the just had to pleased with which it until 8:00 o'clock so. Not so pleasant we found also in fact, the one of the waiters at the erdbeerschale served, by making the shawl with behind the counter took to make it! The strawberries to spoons. Since our departure day, we were astonished only and said us okay we drive home. Conclusion: we would definitely recommend this hotel for this price not more book, as you can expect. read hotel review

For a city tour a beautiful hotel. The location the blue mosque and haghia Sofia is great. A bazaar is right in front of the door. Some small shops in more direct sew. A nice view on the marmerer sea from the restaurant and the garden terrace. With us only disturbed a construction site in front of the hotel. It is a street new laid out. We stayed for 4 nights in the Sultan Ahmet palace. Check-in/check-out worked without problems. The room was big enough and very nicely furnished. Cleanliness top. We had only booked bed/breakfast. The breakfast buffet was extensive. You have a wonderful view from the 'terrace' on the marmara sea, just fantastic! Ideal starting point for various attractions, Blue Mosque right under your nose, Hagia Sophia, and cisterns etc. Couldn't be better. Since we Istanbul definitely again to visit, book again Sultan Ahmet palace. In short, all the best! read hotel review

In april we were on a short break in this hotel. It gives only by its architecture and the decor a touch of orient. The location is great, on the one hand, to the breakfast on the terrace the view over the sea, on the other side, directly over the street a small market, with the possibility a small something to eat, or water pipe to smoke ☺ right at the foot of the blue mosque. The stop tram (on the other side blue mosque 5 minutes), and most sightseeing spots are easy to reach on foot. We had a ... room on the ground floor with a view of a hedge, behind a car park. This didn't bother us, since we only for sleeping there were, cars were not many. Disturbed simply the clairaudience of the building, since it is unfortunately again and again guests there, the loud at night kichernd and chattering your room and visit the door popping in the lock fall leave. All in all, a succesful vacation. read hotel review

We were from 19.-21. february as a part of a champions league gastspiels for 3 days (2 nights) in the Sultan Ahmet Palace Hotel checked in. On arrival was the check in smoothly and easily within a few minutes, we could our room on arrival at 13:00 o'clock immediatley. The cheap booked double room (78 Euro per bed for both of us, including breakfast) turned out to be in the oriental-style furnished rooms, not huge but for a city tour big enough. Tv with 3 german programs available, there is also a free wi-fi-access, air conditioning. The bathroom ... and rooms were clean and perfectly cleaned. The bathroom is in the form of a mini-hammams equipped, some getting used to, but interesting. Our room on the 1. floor possessed a balcony, from the one to the one hand directly on the Blaue Moschee and other side on the bosphorus looked, really great. The breakfast was sufficient, everything available what you start to the day needs. Great view the breakfast room/terrace on the sea. Well stocked mini fridge could also for the cooling of own beverages be used. To the in the hotel restaurant we can't make any comments, as i didn't visit (prices but according to the map not expensive than in the surrounding restaurants). The hotel is located within walking distance only 5 minutes away from the blue mosque (other attractions such as the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and so on. In the immediate vicinity to reach on foot), thus for super central in the old town of Istanbul location. Good traffic connections to the public transportation (tram, bus, and so on.). Tips: our taxi from the airport ataturk amounted to 40 tiirk. Lira, before fixed price negotiated. Back with the taxi without fixed price 43 Lira loud meter paid. If you want to play it safe the hotel offers a airport-transfer for 20 €(total cost). Bosporus tour from the ferry terminal Eminönü at the Galata Bridge make, costs 10 Lira (about 4 €), takes about 1,5 hours and is really worth seeing. Not advertisers or tugs book, there too expensive and only with minibooten on the way. Ticket booth official fährgesellschaft use. The underground cistern visit, something completely different and really interesting. The entrance is located diagonally opposite the Hagia Sophia, simple access, can quickly be overlooked, just after the yerebatan sarayi questions. Conclusion: great city, also unrestricted far recommendation for the hotel, definitely again. read hotel review

The hotel is ideally located, the most important sights on foot to visit. Either one view of Blaue Moschee, or on the sea. It has only 39 rooms, all of which a bathroom a small hamam have. The rooms are big enough. In the hotel by other guests (italian!) A bit noisy. On 2 floors no elevator, which but also unnecessary is. The staff was friendly and capable. The breakfast could be better (scrambled eggs swimming in hot water). For this the restaurant is on the roof terrace, with a great view on the sea of marmara. We would (and ... have ) this hotel already recommended. read hotel review

The rooms are big enough and with 'typically turkish ambiente' equipped. A special feature is the bathroom, what a small hamam is (gray marble, banquettes surrounding and so on). Thus it is a bit small. Tv with 3 german programs available, refrigerator and mini-bar also, and air conditioning.

We once in the restaurant, which also breakfast restaurant is, food. It was good, and there are dishes typical of the country - on europ. Palate 'sophisticated' serves. We are friendly and excellent service. The prices are alright. The view from the restaurant was at night particularly beautiful.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. English is spoken. The cleaning of the rooms was very thorough and it smells strongly after cleaning agents. With complaints with the guest is dealt.

The enterfernung to the airport is so, that you with 20,00 Euro taxi comes. The hotel organised a van at this price. Within walking distance are almost all sights distance and also eat out you can lots of different local. Opposite of the hotel is the mosaikmuseem and a small bazaar.

Was for 3 days sightseeing in Istanbul - it is the Sultan Ahmet palace was top! Central location, in a few minutes walk to all major attractions of the center and to the tram station. The hotel itself is 'plush ', so in the' traditional ' style and very well maintained. The room was somewhat small, for a single person but more than adequate, exactly like the bathroom. This had a small hamam, for me personally great. The only problem: for november, it was unseasonably warm and the heater ran-i unfortunately not managed, you or the hammam herunterzudrehen. Otherwise was ... everything great - also the breakfast on the beautiful terrace with a view of the roofs old -Istanbuls. Good choice, but a bit dazed service coffee not served-all in all, i felt good! read hotel review

Very good location, however disadvantage directly at the blue mosque and around 6:00 in the morning the mopeds calls about 10 minutes. Very nice terrace with a sea view, here you can also evenings from the stress of the day relaxation. Good food if you didn't want to go out. Indicated hammanbadezimmer must one only times make friends, a classic shower would have rather been me. read hotel review

Very good - for people who want to explore the city-with direct view of Blaue Moschee - central it is not-here you can the city on foot explore-however the mopeds calls-but we found that to great-we were in the middle of everything-local-big bazaar-port-spice bazaar- And 1001 other attractions nearby. Public transportation and tourist buses directly at the hagia Sofia - 5 minutes on foot.
