We found the complex very beautifully designed. The pools with the rocks and the waterfalls were just to our taste. Especially good in our experience the nearby riff and the clean beach. We even got a rays seen. Our room was spacious and every day clean cleaned. With of the kitchen and diversity at the buffet we were very satisfied. The chef or the chef have personally intervened the be of the guests asked. The young staff in the dining room was very efficient! You can take the shuttle bus 2 times a day to Hurghada drive. We liked it ... so much, that we'll be back. read more

A great week in brilliant atmosphere. Who peace and at the same time water sports are looking for. , there is just perfect. Also the animation is great. There is also always something to do if you not only at the beach want to lie. The only deduction is, that you except the nice hotel no other possibilities from reach. Another plus point is the great service in the hotel. In the sense thanks a lot to bell boy hany. On it you can always include if one had a wish. As restaurant reservations etc. All in all a great week! read more

The staff are very hard-working but also very pushy when it comes to tip -for every still so small handrail want to have something. Itself at the beach you will all 10-15 minutes mentioned on an excursion or other \u263a At the irritating were the always loud and drunk russians. We are FTI and the german/turkish airline sun express traveled. Makadi Beach is about 15 minutes away from Hurghada. What i didn't care i: the plane was not in Hurghada at, but in Marsa Alam. This means 2,5 hours by minibus from the airport to the hotel. The driver had already a few hours because of the strike of security staff waiting for us-so he was then also. For example he was in a affentempo even with oncoming traffic outdated. The locals see the left and we are also salvation arrived. In the hotel you forget every traffic. There ... one worries super for the guests, is friendly and speaks german, english, italian, russian. Cleanliness, and wealth of variety in the food, a very well maintained facilities, good sun loungers, fast, attentive waiters, wine, the one can also drink, delicious beer, alcohol till you drop, ice-cream every day in the afternoon. - you can hardly more. Sometimes is the question of the staff: everything ok? Already too much. Ask simply too often. Only the indian restaurant we tried, but it took long, the food wasn't so great and buffet was just rather our case. The vacation entertainers were not pushy. The liked it. The evening shows are not perfect, but many seem to have. Is just a matter of taste. The room decor was tasteful and the size of the rooms pleasant. Particularly the available a spacious shower i found as a positive. They offered us on the way there against an extra charge a room with seaview at. We took do not claim, had but nevertheless sea view from the balcony. While we were there the stay the sea water was still quite cold and sometimes the wind was very strong. Snorkelling then from, but the beach is not very attractive. Then should one rather a boat tour with tauchmöglichkeit book. Yes, the tours: we were in Luxor and even Cairo was offered.     We only used the main restaurant in the Stella Makadi Beach and the main restaurant 'blue pharaoh' in the Stella Makadi Garden use it. The cleanliness as everywhere in the hotel exemplary. In the 'blue pharaoh' were quality and quantity of the dishes very good and in spite of the size of the room was a pleasant atmosphere in the dining area. In the Makadi Beach restaurant the salads were very good and the desserts excellent. The main foods, the essensorganisation and the dining room atmosphere could this level however not reach.

    The Stella Makadi Beach has its own beach to the red sea. The sister hotel Stella Makadi Garden is only a few minutes away and all furnishings the sister hotel could be used. The two hotel a self-contained resort. A taxirufzentrale is in the hotel available. There is a shopping center, whose use but only friends of haggling with precise preiskenntnissen can be recommended.

    The rooms were of a very good size and comfortably furnished. They were kept spotlessly clean. A good size bathroom with a large walk in shower, a dressing area with plenty of wardrobe space. A modern television with programs in lots of languages and a nice patio with table and chairs. The room had a fridge (you had to pay if you drank anything from it) but you were left 2 large bottles of water per day free of charge, and they would leave more if you wanted it. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom that was very useful. Also a safe in the wardrobe at no extra charge.

    The buffet restaurant was good and catered for all tastes. There was a bbq outside every night and every evening was themed which made it interesting. There were also 2 al a carte restaurants in the Stella Beach, an Italian and Indian, and a Chinese and Lebanese at the Stella Gardens. There was no limit to the number of times you could go to these restaurants which was good. The one downside was that you had to book from 9am on the day and if you weren't in the queue at reception before 9am you were unlikely to get in, and you also had to go to Stella Gardens if you wanted to eat there, which was a bit of a rush in the morning.

    The staff were amazing, they were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. The waiters soon learned what we drank and would bring them to us the moment we sat down. In the restaurant the staff were helpful and efficient and worked really hard. They all spoke amazing English and we could hear them talking in other languages to other guests. Our room boy kept the room spotless and we loved coming back to the room of an evening to see what animal or flower he had made the towels into each day.

    There were things going on all day and the entertainment team all worked extremely hard. There was plenty for children to do. There were also plenty of sun beds and swimming pools. We overlooked the quiet pool which was nice, but there were also fun pools and a heated pool. There were shows every evening.

    The hotel is right on the beach. There were always sun beds available and with the wind brakes around them, stopped you feeling that other people were too close to you on the beach. There is a nice little shopping arcade on site so you did not need to go to far to buy anything you might need. On this occasion we only went on one trip which was a snorkeling boat trip, which was excellent value for money and a fun day out. As we have been to Egypt several times before we did not want to go on the longer trips like the Valley of the Kings, but these were all available at reasonable prices.

Very nice hotel, selection of dishes poor and not tasty, congestion at the buffet, non-alcoholic fizzy drinks very bad! Hotel is comparatively no 5 stars standard. Hotel staff lack too many knowledge of german, russians seem welcome. read more

Main restaurant really needs some redecorating. Drinks must be in a drinks station even in/out privileges. There are the glasses not turned, but every - also the staff - with the fingers in the open glasses. It will be hard liquor in water glasses was alkoholisierte russians poured out. In the restaurant i expect, that the drinks served at the table are. Also the lobby and the main bar are completely run down and need to be urgently the renovation. At the bar with cocktails the fruits from the staff with two fingers-without gloves-in the drinks placed. These unsanitary conditions ..., that completely worn down restaurant and the drunk russians we have the stay verleidet. read more

Our first time in Egypt, and very pleased and impressed with the hotel. Staff were friendly and attentive, facilities were perfect for both couples and families. Buffet food selection was superb, and the a la carte restaurants were as good as any we have ever eaten in throughout our many holidays all over the world. My wife suffers from colitis, and the food selection was so diverse, she had no problems all holiday. Feel that Stella Gardens would be better for families, whereas the Beach was fantastic for couples Don't often return to any location since there are many places ... we would like to experience, but we will definitely be back to Stella Makedi Beach read more

The beach was very clean, the animation was not intrusive, the evening entertainment was very pleasant made, the livesängerin is just great!. The russians were not disturbing at all! The lunch there was at the beach and restaurant as rich buffet and fresh was always pizza and pasta dishes prepared. Even ice and cakes there were! It was simply delicious! read more

This hotel is fantastic,large rooms kept clean,the pools are so nice and spotless and lit up nice at night. Found the food good,but a few more cups at breakfast would be nice but a minor problem as you didnt wait long. The indian and italian restaurant were great and no limit in how many times you go but did not like the queuing system would be nice to book in advance at reception.     This hotel is fantastic,large rooms kept clean,the pools are so nice and spotless and lit up nice at night. Found the food good,but a few more cups at breakfast would be nice but a minor problem as you didnt wait long. The indian and italian restaurant were great and no limit in how many times you go but did not like the queuing system would be nice to book in advance at reception.     The staff were amazingly patient, efficient and customer focused. They all seemed to be multilingual, slipping effortlessly from English into German and then into Russian. We had asked for a quiet room and they kindly obliged so we slept well every night

We had a great time in Slella Makadi Beach. Everything was wonderful. Imo, the boy who cleaned our room, made a sculpture of the towels. Everyday it was a surprise to find it . The food was various and of good quality. Every evening there was another kitchen presented in the dining room. Everybody was friendly, we especially remember Sayed. He was one of the waiters. The animation team even danced Michael Flatley!! It was great to see !!. Next year we'll be back!! read more

There were several pools, and a large stretch of beach. The entire complex made a very clean and well-kept impression. We have constantly staff, the for example the grounds and beach cleaning. Sadly the bathrooms were hand-crafted not very well built (for example tiles or fixtures ), the cleanliness however, it has not affected. There were also every day during the room cleaning the beds completely changed. ... Of course, also in the bathroom all towels every day replaced. Unfortunately, there were on the rooms no bathrobes or there was alternatively also no possibility, a bathrobe for the period of the hotel-stay-where appropriate on payment-to borrow. read more

    As already mentioned, are the rooms big enough and clean. The small-scale implementation of the bathroom is certainly definitely not mediaeval shows (tiles, fixtures, etc.) , but everything worked and everything was very clean. Unfortunately, there was no bathrobe available and there was also no possibility - possibly for a fee - a bathrobe to lend. Our room in the morning very quickly cleaned, every day were the beds changed. Of course, also in the bathroom every day the towels completely exchanged. In the bathroom there were both shower gel, shampoo, conditioner in tubes etc. , these products were refilled.

    In the Stella Beach resort there was a main restaurant (buffet), 2 more à la carte restaurant (italian, as well as indian cuisine). Furthermore may also the restaurants the ' sister hotels ' Stella Garden resort can be visited. All restaurants as a part of the all-inclusive package can be visited without additional costs. At the à la carte restaurant prior reservation is necessary, in the morning is. We have every evening in one of the à la carte restaurant dining and without any problems to make a reservation. There are usually 2 tischzeiten in these restaurants (at 18:30 hours or 8:30 p. m.). So there is plenty of time, the 3-course menu to enjoy. In addition to the included food is also the possibility for an additional fee other main dishes to order (which we however not made, since the choice of the included food extensive enough). Especially the quality however especially the friendly and very competent service in the italian restaurant is to be pointed out. There were a few times eat out and were every time very satisfied. The staff go without any problems also on special requests and convey the guest, the you really welcome. The in the all-inclusive package included drinks were lovely. The service is very attentive, drinks were quickly refilled or short-term orders for beverages are possible. Only the service lebanese restaurant (Stella Garden) wasn't so great. The food has really good good, but the service was a bit disorganized (for example received some tables only one basket on demand, menu a bit messy...) Lunch is served in the beachside café a snack offered, the daily something varies (for example pizza, burgers, salads, pasta, etc.). The offered dishes were relatively prepared rather simple, but as a snack more than adequate and also delicious. In the main restaurant there was an extensive lunch buffet. In the evening in the main restaurant a theme buffet offered (for example french cuisine, mediterranean cuisine, fish etc.). Beside this every evening changing special offers, there was additionally some-ish as for example salad buffet, pasta etc. The selection was definitely sufficient and diverse. The breakfast was also offered there. Next to many 'cold' food, were also eggs a la minute prepared (pancakes, omelettes, and so on). Only one negative: unfortunately there are fresh squeezed juices or juices with 100% fruchtanteil only at a charge.

    All of the staff to whom we contact had, were exceptionally friendly. We again and again surprised, that many employees addressed into german was. If one english speaks, there was no staff a problem with the communication.

    The hotel is directly at the long sandy beach and a footbridge you could also a reef reach, the snorkeling can be. The beach is well taken care of. There are also various excursions were offered, which we however not use. Generally one could say, that the hotel peacefully located and certainly encouraged, that the offers of the hotel noticed.
