We are a two families (three people) traveling. Salzburg was the last station on our tour and also the only area, in which we have no fixed reservation had. In the Kaiserhof we arrived therefore rather haphazard and sometimes you really lucky. The Kaiserhof is located a bit outside the city, to the center but you get along by car within 15 minutes. Also the connection to the public transport is great, the bus station is about 200 meters away from the hotel (every half hour). For excursions the hotel is therefore an absolute winner. Free wi-fi for a fee. ... Parking are sufficiently available. read more

    We had two triple rooms. The size is adequate, the hauptbett is very good, extra bed had light flaws (slatted frame). The bathroom is large enough and well equipped, in the bathtub/shower would be a rubber mat still nice. A small fridge would be good. There is a large high-definition tvs attached to the wall, the innumerable programs in the highest quality. The cleanliness in the whole room was very good.

    The breakfast is fabulous, there is a wide selection of pastries, cakes, sausage, ham, cheese, jam, Nutella, etc. For the evening we salzburg gnocchi preordered, the reservation worked great, we had to our food didn't have to wait long. The taste was very good. Also the other food, as we saw, were very popular. The friendliness in the restaurant was really great, both in the morning, as also in the evening.

    The friendliness at the reception is excellent, a fact, you in their own country not always finds. All of our questions on routes, the public traffic or other travel times has been thoroughly, patient and competent answered. It seemed altogether all very clean and well-kept, although currently structural improvement (modernisation) are underway.

    The hotel is located in district Anif/niederalm. Not far away there is supermarket, bakery, gas stations, a pharmacy is reachable in three minutes by car. For excursions to the center from Salzburg or to attractions in the area, is this hotel ideal located. A station for the public bus is about 200 meters away. The bus goes commuted to Salzburg to the center. We were not long to guest, our desk lead us to the city centre, to the hangar 7/red bull and well aiderbichl.

We are passing through for one night descended. We have the room on the portal of the city Salzburg reserved. It is easy to find, because it directly at a kreisstrasse is. One is to jerk-twitch again on the highway. It gave for individualists a electric car to rent, through our late arrival was the but no more possible. While searching for a dörfischen christmas market, we were very accommodating advice and piloted. In the restaurant eat especially local, i had a 250 g beef fillet for 27,50 Euro, perfectly prepared, the beverage prices were average. It was very ... at home, there was a nonsmoking dining rooms with about 25 places, where we sat. The area with the counter was the designated smoking area. The service was exceedingly friendly, not at all anti-german set. By christmas holidays in the restaurant we longer the food waited. The breakfast was hearty, there was a lot of fresh fruits, as well as very good coffee to make a good fully automatic slicer. Unfortunately, my german mc credit from the device not accepted. We will also the next time here again, if we passing through are. In the end we will have the same money paid, as the Etap on Airport Salzburg, which was a real disaster was. read more

We were relatively spontaneously over new year's eves in the Kaiserhof. Our expectations were exceeded, because the hotel for a 3-star hotel a very good kitchen has. The restaurant is like in Austria common in smokers/nonsmokers divided. Breakfast gives it on the 7 hours, what us as skiers very pleased. To flachau you need about 35 minutes. To Salzburg it is also only about 15 minutes and one is in the middle of the center. The rooms are simple, however nicely furnished and in good condition. Only in the bathroom lack a few storage space. If you're noise sensitive, should ... a room at the back give, as the main road also with the window closed clearly audible is, what however not bother us. read more

The hotel we have because of its location between Salzburg and Berchtesgaden than overnight stay elective. Two Nights with breakfast when eBay the fixed price of 78 Euro bought. Via email prior to they told us the following: 'please note, that during the' Salzburg festival time, ' to everyone category a supplement amount of 10,00 Euro per persons / day in addition. ' we have exactly a week before the beginning the festival in the hotel stayed in. For the two better room-categories would be furthermore again 10 respectively 20 Euro/ person in addition are incurred. 158 Euro for ... the best arrangement appeared over-paid. Our very basic, old, originally 78 Euro-room ( category comfort!) cost now so 118 Euro. With all due respect, that was it really not worth it. On the 2nd floor location, without elevator (and without offer of help for the luggage), under the roof, Mansard and extremely small. A smaller hotel-room I have never seen, you get claustrophobia as a couple with luggage. The window: too small. The bathroom: tiny and almost no shelf space! The washbasin ( and also the shower) so small, that you could hardly clean your teeth could, without on the floor make a mess, in the toothpaste-traces of the predecessors was clearly visible ( cleaning here poor, was however immediately taken care of). There is gottlob in the small anteroom in front of the room an integrated wardrobe. During our stay it was rainy and cool. I dare me however not at all contemplate, which temperatures in the attic room at highly summer days are like. The massive prepared lunch fan in the room spoke volumes. After a long arrival were at least the beds good. During the second night we have however to at 3 o'clock in the morning, didn't sleep a wink, as very loud celebrated, probably a wedding, and this celebration throughout the backyard treated to music has. The breakfast was very good, wide choice was available. Surprisingly: in Austria must in the restaurants ( still) be smoked, the is rather habituation-needily. The service in the restaurant was very nice and accommodating. We can recommend this room type definitely not, the hotel altogether but already. read more

Who on the outskirts of Salzburg a hotel looking for is right at home here. Good breakfast and half board possible and we also consumed. Late check in, we arrived after 24 o'clock from the airport München, absolutely no problem. Enough parking spaces before and behind the hotel. read more

    The rooms are okay. Huge tv- flat screen (i guess 107 centimeters) with great selection and perfect Picture. Also the mattresses are very good and you sleep to excellent.

    The breakfast buffet unfortunately is in the guest room set up, where the counter is and until late in the night smoke. This cold smoke is then naturally strongly present. On the first day we had the children and it was even a few meters away from the buffet smoking. We in the stüberl next set, where we the dinner got. The dinner in the half board was OK.

in the room was the hair of the blown branch's in the bed and in the bathroom, the toilet was not clean and the floor was not vacuumed. At the breakfast the staff was overtaxed and it went to 15 minutes until the food was refilled. (Pastries, juice, soft eggs, etc.) read more

Overall could not be recommended. The front desk impersonal, the rooms not very appealing and too small, the only just good, but staff overstrained., although very friendly. From the main hotel (linen etc.) should the guest received nothing. read more
