A better location we would not be able: 2 minute walk to the Gran via and 5 going minutes. To the opera and the Palacio Real. But in a quiet lateral road, so that one could sleep. Right on the Gran via, it would be way too loud. Also the binding to the metro is very good. To the airport one comes with only 1 change. Almost everything we have on foot reach (also Prado, Puerta del Sol, etc. ). Staff always friendly and helpful. Room clean and beautiful. Beds little hard. Breakfast was OK., coffee from the vending machine ..., but very good. Two free internet portal in the lobby. read more

The rooms are clean, have an adequate size and because of the surrounding quiet lateral roads is hard noise to be heard. The windows cannot (or only on request) open, the air conditioning is but adjustable and silent. We missed a good drawers, in which our things could store.

  • Gastronomy
    4.0

There is a big breakfast. The coffee in arbitrary quantity from the automat, sausages, schniknen and egg in hot form are also available like fruit, muesli etc. Unfortunately a part of the fruit from the can and the scrambled eggs are equipped with potatoes-bit offset. To the question, if we extra charge obligatory 'right' eggs could get, was the specific answer 'no' -probably, because no real kitchen is available. Therefore there are also only a small bar, but no restaurant - what but also because of the supply in the area not really missing.

  • Service

The service at the reception was very good, on request, whether on original madrilenisches food or Flamenco for 'non-tourist' we have recommendations get, which you can pass on. Understanding is on english to, you don't speak german. There are two free internet-squares available.

The hotel is located in a side street in the Plaza españa, 5-minute walk away from the same name subway station (from the airport pure travel time by 30 minutes, with one change). It is right in a distance of 10 minutes everything from the supermarket on tapas -bars and small restaurants. On the Plaza españa, adjacent rest and many besichtigungsobjekte are reachable on foot (the castle for example 10 minutes) at the Plaza españa also various bus lines, amongst others the circular arcs' circolar', with the you billigts a rundfahr make can.

the rooms are large, well-kept and beautifully equipped. We had one double and a single room. the cleanliness is excellent. Sufficient beautiful Candlewick towels were available. the beds are not too soft. We slept very well. Safety deposit box is available, mini bar was missing, but we didn't care, because we in the city drinks could buy. only Downside: as in many southern countries the rooms not so good from each other soundproof, but that didn't really bothered me, there in the hotel pleasant guests in the middle age had.

We have the hotel with breakfast booked. For Spanish proportions this is breakfast buffet really very good: various rolls, Süßgebäcke in big numbers, tortilla, miscellaneous meat and cheese, and yoghurt, and fruit. Drinks machine for hot drinks, Various fruit juices. Simply everything, what you need for the subsequent sightseeing. the buffet is well looked after and the cleanliness in the first place.

Quiet and centrally located, good connection to the metro (Plaza de Espana). Hotel clean, spacious rooms, air conditioning, laminate floors and spacious bathroom. Breakfast we did not book, makes also little sense, it has nearby plenty of bars around something to eat, it also a lot cheaper. Since we anyway were out for the whole day, played also the lack of garden or balcony no role. Recommendable without limitation! read more

The hotel is located close to the Plaza de España (Metro three minutes away) and the Gran Vía, therefore, there were enough shopping possibilities, many attractions are within walking distance. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was extensive (cereal, yogurt, pastries, etc.) and good, the coffee came from the machines. The room was big enough and had tv and safe, but there was no mini bar. It was clean, sheets and towels were changed regularly. Downside: it was loud. Tips: Single metro rides are cheap (1 €per ride). With the card for tourists (for 1 ..., 2, 3, 5, seven days; you get them in all metro stations at machine, some tobacco met harmed, etc.) may be used for all public transport. Practically, if one much travels. The trip to the airport with the bus cost Exprés Aeropuerto 24 hours from the atocha train station/Plaza de Cibeles two €per person. read more

The hotel is very centrally located. You need only a few minutes walk to the best and most beautiful sights of Madrid. The metro is right next to the corner location, and very, very cheap in relation to Berlin. (A drive with as much change as you like 1 cost per person) The room are very noisy, as it is the biggest minus points for. German tv program is with two Känalen (RTL, RTL 2) represented on the room. The drive from the airport to the hotel costs about 35 Located at the end of the next (200 meters) is ... the main street Gran Via, this has six lanes and transport it rolls day and at night. I thought is noisy Berlin, but on the other hand is a 'traffic Berlin village' On the Gran Via one can go strolling beautiful. Mc Donalds/KFC/Burger king are in the vicinity. A tip: if you wanted to eat on the lunchtime that, since the menus for 9.99 offers times everywhere to 12.99 (three courses) to Evening meal costs about 20 a per person If you still have time in the Madrid zoo, it's worth it! Three to four days was completely enough for this city. Conclusion: Madrid is a very noisy, bustling city, but very, very clean! read more

We had the room 218 right near the elevator and never heard from other guests if this was used. So it is very quiet and pleasant thanks to air conditioning to sleep The room itself was a good size and furnished as. Bathroom with shower, toilet, air-conditioning, TV (only Spanish channels) so as you expect from a 3 star hotel. The condition of the room was clean and the 3 star hotel standard. As mentioned above, cleaned everyday.

The breakfast room is the size correspondingly large and breakfast was plentiful. It is served from all offered. Cereals, fruit, sausage, jam, honey etc. It is also always re-filled. From the juice over coffee, etc. is also offered.

To reach the hotel recommends with the metro-No 10 At the metro station "Plaza de España" from to climb. It is located in a side street of the Gran Via and the Plaza de Espana. Despite these near the hotel is very quiet. For those on a city break I would recommend this hotel as an insider the walking distance within a short time many things. The Royal Palace is about 5 up to a maximum of 10 minutes walking distance. Else one has the metro station 300 meters from the hotel.

Because the hotel was one of the cheaper, I was not expecting too much from the room. But what I found has everything exceeded: The room was very large, as requested 2 separate beds (I am traveling with my mother), a large closet, large windows, a large bathroom with large shower. Everything super clean. The only drawback: The small TV was not only small but also half broken. turn on the left just feel like it if he had ; -)

What can I say? I love it ! The hotel was located totally central right in the center, very close to the Plaza de España; but in a quiet side street, in which you from the Jubeltrubel Gran Via effective nothing can tell! There is a great all major attractions within walking distance; and if at times a bit further away you will get lots of metro stations nearby.

Sound proof hotel in prime location for a city break archived

For a city trip this hotel was definitely. Good central location on Placa de Espana. Smaller shopping (mini supermarket) and a metro station just around the corner. In spite of the central location, the hotel is just off of the Chania Via, which means no traffic noise. Something you can't say: The rooms are extremely badly-soundproofed. You can hear every guaranteeing entertainment in the adjoining room. So please bring ear plugs.! But as you on a city break anyway only in the hotel rooms, the walls are very thin isn't too bad. For a good nights sleep but ear ... plugs are necessary. read more

Good value for money. Situated opposite Senate House, and 5 minutes from Palacio Real and the old town. It is a 2 minute walk to the metro. Within walking distance to everything, restaurants, bars, shopping, parks etc. Rates in Madrid are comparable to German cities. read more

The room was clean, it was cleaned every day. There was a TV in the room and even RTL could be watched. Slight downside was that there was no mini fridge in our room, but a free safe and telephone.

The breakfast buffet was ok, but nothing above average good. The tables were as soon as the guests of the room were covered and immediately newly laid out.

At the reception there were plenty of ideas for tour assistance, our tickets for the city tour we could also sold at the hotel. Free internet access available around the clock. The hotel does not have a pool.

We were very pleased with this hotel! It is situated in a small side street on the Gran Via that is right in the middle of it all!!! It is about 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro and about 15 minutes walk from the Palacio Real and the Catedral de la Almudena! Breakfast is served in the form of a buffet with 3 different sausage and cheese, you could choose between café on the coffee machine, Kakao And even toasts! In addition there were 3 different yogurts, cereals, pastries, butter, jam, tortilla espanola, oranges and pineapple juice, water and ... milk! Our bathroom door was unfortunately defect, you could not close and so weren't lock! So we were immediately offered another room! The rooms do not have balconies but you do have a TV with international stations: RTL! There was a safe in every room with us, which you could use for free! The hotel staff speaks spanish and english! You have to the room until noon on the day of departure, but with the front desk when you leave the luggage if you, like us, only in the evening fly home! read more
