A better location we would not be able: 2 minute walk to the Gran via and 5 going minutes. To the opera and the Palacio Real. But in a quiet lateral road, so that one could sleep. Right on the Gran via, it would be way too loud. Also the binding to the metro is very good. To the airport one comes with only 1 change. Almost everything we have on foot reach (also Prado, Puerta del Sol, etc. ). Staff always friendly and helpful. Room clean and beautiful. Beds little hard. Breakfast was OK., coffee from the vending machine ..., but very good. Two free internet portal in the lobby. read more

Quiet and centrally located, good connection to the metro (Plaza de Espana).
Hotel clean, spacious rooms, air conditioning, laminate floors and spacious bathroom.
Breakfast we did not book, makes also little sense, it has nearby plenty of bars around something to eat, it also a lot cheaper.
Since we anyway were out for the whole day, played also the lack of garden or balcony no role.
Recommendable without limitation! read more

The hotel is located close to the Plaza de España (Metro three minutes away) and the Gran Vía, therefore, there were enough shopping possibilities, many attractions are within walking distance.
The staff was always friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet was extensive (cereal, yogurt, pastries, etc.) and good, the coffee came from the machines.
The room was big enough and had tv and safe, but there was no mini bar. It was clean, sheets and towels were changed regularly. Downside: it was loud.
Tips:
Single metro rides are cheap (1 €per ride).
With the card for tourists (for 1 ..., 2, 3, 5, seven days; you get them in all metro stations at machine, some tobacco met harmed, etc.) may be used for all public transport. Practically, if one much travels.
The trip to the airport with the bus cost Exprés Aeropuerto 24 hours from the atocha train station/Plaza de Cibeles two €per person. read more

The hotel is very centrally located. You need only a few minutes walk to the best and most beautiful sights of Madrid.
The metro is right next to the corner location, and very, very cheap in relation to Berlin. (A drive with as much change as you like 1 cost per person)
The room are very noisy, as it is the biggest minus points for.
German tv program is with two Känalen (RTL, RTL 2) represented on the room.
The drive from the airport to the hotel costs about 35
Located at the end of the next (200 meters) is ... the main street Gran Via, this has six lanes and transport it rolls day and at night.
I thought is noisy Berlin, but on the other hand is a 'traffic Berlin village'
On the Gran Via one can go strolling beautiful.
Mc Donalds/KFC/Burger king are in the vicinity.
A tip: if you wanted to eat on the lunchtime that, since the menus for 9.99 offers times everywhere to 12.99 (three courses) to
Evening meal costs about 20 a per person
If you still have time in the Madrid zoo, it's worth it!
Three to four days was completely enough for this city.
Conclusion:
Madrid is a very noisy, bustling city, but very, very clean! read more

Very well located hotel with very good connection to the city of Madrid, both on foot and there is a metro station. Despite the closeness to the city the hotel is located in a very quiet side street. Positive: free internet use in the hotel lobby. Cleanliness, friendliness. Cons: breakfast poor and one-sided, unfortunately no German TV channels in the room. read more

The hotel Cason del Tormes is a 3 star hotel in the heart of Madrid. From the outside, it looks quite plain but upon entering the lobby makes a very reasonable impression. We had a double room in the 2 . Floor. It is typical grace. The most important it is very clean and was cleaned every day. We had booked bed and breakfast. The hotel is not crowded, but was well visited. Average age was mixed. read more

We had just bed and breakfast. The selection was enough to start the day. The hotel is located in a quiet, but central area, within walking distance of everything. Small grocery stores are close, newspapers are available at the Gran Via/Plaza de Espana around the corner. The staff spoke English, German and Spanish, of course. read more

We can only recommend the hotel. The only thing that could be improved would be at breakfast: the rolls were not the best ... The hotel could be as change supplier. The room was quiet, as in a side street. Parking is almost impossible, parking garage is nearby, but were very expensive (ca. 23 Euros per day) read more

For a city trip this hotel was definitely. Good central location on Placa de Espana. Smaller shopping (mini supermarket) and a metro station just around the corner. In spite of the central location, the hotel is just off of the Chania Via, which means no traffic noise. Something you can't say: The rooms are extremely badly-soundproofed. You can hear every guaranteeing entertainment in the adjoining room. So please bring ear plugs.! But as you on a city break anyway only in the hotel rooms, the walls are very thin isn't too bad. For a good nights sleep but ear ... plugs are necessary. read more

Hotel is located in a quiet residential street near to the Plaza d'Espanya, 5 minute walk to the Royal Palace. Good breakfast with Serrano ham, ham, cheese and cakes, coffee from coffee maker. Courteous friendly front desk with our trip to Toledo, the fastest and cheapest trip (bus station and not recommended (train) to visit, about 1 hour by bus). Madrid has much to offer, you can do a lot of walking. The Sideria in a side street of the hotel really look at, is very quaint and always busy. read more
