It was a really great stay in the zugspitz, great, courteous and competent staff. The choice at the breakfast buffet leaves for certain nothing to be desired. The quality in the restaurant is excellent. What i disliked is the selection of wines is too low and the prices for this too expensive. For my nightcap (a fl green valtelline) i to the room nahm, i pay the same price as in the restaurant with full service!? If you a week in the zugspitz lives i cannot and will not be every day 4 course take half board, that is me ... too much, there was the old. In the. Room was good, but for 4-course half board 20, -€ paid and the Schnitzel in the lounge costs just as much.! Conclusion, it is definitely good, may however also not quibble. read more

The hotel is still for us the 1st address in garmisch and the surrounding area. The atmosphere, the service, the rooms, the food and also the surrounding area are just amazing. We are convinced, that it in future so is here to stay and are already looking forward to it, no later than in february 2014 some days in the hotel Zugspitze to spend. read more

We were here for the 2. time in garmisch. Often you'll find mistake which one for the first time don't see. That was unfortunately not the case. Almost everything perfect. We are already looking forward to next time. Our daughter could short ride. We found it extremely generous 4. person not to charge, although we 2 double rooms and it is the season was. From the friendly, helpful front desk, the nice designed room, with a great bathroom and huge shower, flat screen tv, safe and gottsseidank ordinary radiators (air conditioners work usually not). The chef deserves a general competence and, because he conjured up with a lot of creation and vielfältgikeit every day a new menu. The wellness area including sauna was small, but very nice.     Big room (superior), large bathroom. Balcony with mountain view. Minibar was daily filled for free, as well as the Jura fully automatic coffee machine. Free wi-fi well received, what in Germany not is usual. The rooms were completely cleaned daily.

    As already mentioned, the breakfast was great, everything you need. Nicely arranged, was a real eye-catcher. But unfortunately has the dinner(5 course gourmet menu) has decreased. From 5 courses were 4, but the last course also in a different restaurant(even house) could eat. The dessert gave us this year very dissapointed, we were better from this cuisine. The prices just. Although we had half board.

    Pedestrian area with very nice small shops nearby. The local bus drives us with the guest card free of charge, if he is needed at all. It is all within walking distance.
